But he soon collected himself and believed that everything would work out in his favor as he continued the aerial assault and avoided Raydon's vine.

But he started to get restless once more when he saw Raydon getting ready to throw the vine.

He made the decision to temporarily stop the attack and concentrate on avoiding the vine. He couldn't ignore the vine because it was the cause of the winged woman's death.

''We will see. '' Raydon said with a cheeky smile and threw the vine.

The wingman thought that this couldn't be true as he was surprised to see the vine that resembled a lasso approaching him.

''What is this? This is too slow. '' It wasn't a skill; it was just Raydon throwing a lasso, so an item holder could easily avoid it, if not catch them off guard.

However, the main concern in Wingman's mind was why Raydon made such a clear and pointless attack on him.

'Is he planning to use his title skill or something? I need to be careful.' He thought carefully. He easily escaped the lasso that was thrown at him and moved as far away as he could, just in case. However, he cried out in panic when he realized where the lasso was headed.

''OH, NO, DODGE THAT. ''

Though he attempted to grab the vine while flying quickly, it was already too late.

Hearing his friend's cries, the wingman with the great sword turned his head for a split second to see what was going on, only to be greeted by the vine wrapped around his neck.

''Gaagh!!! ''

When Raydon pulled the vine, he abruptly lost his balance and dropped the sword he was holding.

As soon as Seraher noticed this, she seized the chance that had been presented to her. Although she lacked the mana necessary to use her skills, she attacked right away with her sword.

After being startled by the unexpected events, the wingman pointed his staff at Seraher and chanted when he realized his friend was about to die.
