Chapter 8: Explanations and a Lack of Rizz

"Tell em bring me my money." I chuckled as Ddraig finished his explanation.

Rias seemed frustrated for a while before calming down and looking into the endless white void. It really was a win-win for her. Sona on the other hand sighed in defeat. Tsubaki just walked over to her king and tried to cheer her up by placing a hand on her shoulder. The gesture worked and Sona gained her usual uncaring expression.

"To think he would possess a Longinus. No, I guess someone who takes six pawn pieces is worth it." Sona surmised as she fixed her glasses.

"Indeed. I had not expected this outcome. After you reincarnated Saji-san with four pieces only to find out he possesses one of Vritra's gears, I expected a Longinus to take all eight pieces." Rias sighed before a small smile grew onto her face.

"Is this a good thing?" Issei asked curiously. Everyone turned their attention to the brown haired pervert who looked lost.

"Indeed it is my adorable little servant. Your gear is quite incredible." Rias walked over to Issei before cupping his cheeks in her hands and bringing his face into her breasts. "I expect you to make me proud."

Issei started blushing and his perverted grin returned as he started moving his head around as best he could to cherish his first ever contact with the holy lumps of greatness!

I chuckled watching his antics but that grew into unrestrained laughter when Koneko walked over to him and slammed him on the ground. She then started stomping on his head over and over. As she did, the white void slowly morphed away and returned us to the clubroom.

"I think he's had enough Koneko-chan." Kiba chuckled nervously as he placed a hand on Koneko's shoulder.

"...Pervert." She said as she returned by her King's side.

After I was done with my laughing fit, I looked down to my bleeding and no doubt dying friend and decided to help him out. I picked him up then went into the side room to grab a wet towel. I started wiping the blood from his face.

"T-Thanks." He breathed out in pain.

Seeing him in such pain didn't hurt too much. After all, I would kick his ass almost everyday for messing with me in the mornings. Although, I never hurt him this bad.

"No problem. By the way." I got close to Issei's ear and whispered. "This towel could possibly be Rias', Akeno's, Koneko's, or Kiba's. What you do with this information is up to you." I explained with an evil smirk.

The others in the clubroom could hear me, though I really didn't care. They knew us as two perverted idiots, so this shouldn't be surprising to them.

Issei blinked rapidly before looking at each of the previously mentioned people. His eyes lingered on Rias who facepalmed, and Akeno who was giggling then they stopped at Kiba who gave a friendly wave.

"So there's a seventy five percent chance of success, with a twenty five percent margin of error?" Issei asked no one in particular. He looked down at the towel which was now coated in his blood. He made up his mind. A deep inhale and long exhale and he slammed his face into the towel before inhaling loud enough for the entire clubroom to hear clearly. He stayed like that for half a minute.

When he removed his head from the towel his face was in pure bliss. He then breathed out a very shaky exhale. His cheeks rosy and his perverted grin for all to see.

"Magnificent." Issei said as if he had been enlightened.

Rias, Akeno, and Koneko couldn't hide their disgusted looks. They didn't mind a playful perverted virgin, but if it was truly their towel they couldn't help but feel grossed out at witnessing the display.

"It was Kiba's."

Issei looked at me with an expression of pure happiness. "What did you say, Isamu?"

"It was Kiba's." I answered. I could barely contain my laughter. When I went into the side room, all of them had labeled lockers. I went to Kiba's locker and pulled out his towel as a prank. The result was true perfection.

Rias and Akeno gained amused expressions, while Koneko's lips curved upwards. Sona and Tsubaki remained expressionless.

Issei's face morphed into pure disgust. His head slowly turned toward the blonde haired prince. When he saw Kiba's face his heart stopped. The normal princely smile he had was gone. Instead now he wore a more sadistic grin.

"You bastards. You were in on this together!?" Issei asked with complete disbelief in his eyes.

"Haha! Yeah and we got you good. We planned this during lunch while you were all spaced out. I can't believe it worked though! All credit to Kiba!" I laughed out loud. Tears flowed out of my eyes as I held my stomach trying to calm myself.

"For what it's worth, Issei-san. Think of this as nothing more than a knight protecting the innocent maidens of our fine school." Kiba chuckled. His usual princely smile was back in play.

Issei couldn't hold his disgust any longer. He ran to the trash can by Rias' desk and emptied his stomach.

While he was busy throwing up, I walked over to Kiba and high fived him for a job well done. This was my pay back for him trying to direct the kendo club onto me. A fair punishment if I do say so myself.

"Ufufu. Poor Issei-kun." Akeno giggled as she patted Issei's back, helping him relieve himself of the disgusting memory.

"Right. Back on track." I said after my laughter had died down. "Next I'll explain what happened to me once I went home, then I'll claim my spoils from our little bet." I explained with a small smirk.

All the girls in the room seemed to grow still when I brought up the bet. Deciding to use the emotion sensory ability from my [War] domain, I checked what each of them were feeling.

Fear, Disgust, Faith.

The first two emotions were universal amongst all the girls, although among Rias, Akeno, and Kiba I could sense the faith they had in me.

'Jeez do they really peg me for that much of a bad guy?'

'[What do you expect, Partner? You associate yourself with three of the most perverted humans in your immediate area. Their fear and disgust are well placed.]' Ddraig explained.

I could understand where they were coming from, and they really had no reason to trust me yet. Realistically, I only met Rias and Akeno two days ago, while I met the rest just yesterday. Deciding to ease their minds I explained my intentions.

"If you think it's something sexual I'm telling you, you're wrong. I'm not that depraved nor disgusting to feel the need to force you ladies to give me your bodies." I announced with a serious tone.

The girls looked at each other. A sigh of relief coming out of Rias and the other girls' expressions didn't change. Although, their feelings did. Relief, Faith, Happiness.

"Don't worry, Isamu-san. We had no belief that you would do something sexual to us. We had the utmost faith in you." Sona explained.

I have to admit. She is a very good liar. I almost believed her.

"I'm sure you wanted to feel that way, but there is something you should know about me. I can sense emotions and feelings through one of my domains." I chuckled.

Everyone's eyes widened. Of course they'd be surprised. The implications of my ability are terrifying. With it, I would be able to know if someone is lying to me or if they are acting out of character. It's an ability that would be scary to have on your side, or against you.

"I-I see." Sona stuttered in disbelief.

"Right, I guess that leads me to the explanation of yesterday." I said hoping to move the awkward atmosphere away. I walked towards the seat Koneko was sitting in and sat down. She shuffled away with a hint of fear in her eyes but she didn't switch seats entirely.

"Alright, I guess we'll start with after I told my parents?" I asked and everyone nodded. "Right, once I told them that I learned of my heritage, my father and mother came clean and revealed their identities. My father and Ddraig talked a bit about one of my senpais, Ddraig's past host and how he stormed my father's domain looking for the soul of his sister. He even went as far as to take up a cursed powerful form engraved in the gear. The [Juggernaut Drive]."

It looked as if Rias and Sona recognized the name but they stayed quiet, opting to let me finish my revision uninterrupted. However, Issei had other ideas.

"What did you say whenever you found out that your mom was a cat girl?" Issei asked with a sickly face.

"I told her it was neat then called my father a lucky man."

Issei seemed unsatisfied with the answer but after puking his brains out he was too weak to say anything more and just sat quietly.

"After the host entered that cursed form, my father fought him and defeated him. Although my father did say it was a tough fight. We then talked about my…my little brother. I really don't want to go into that." Sadness plagued my voice. Although that's it. That's all the emotion I showed. Before going to my father's domain, the most I could get off with is teary eyes. I smiled internally. I was finally moving on.

"We understand. We all have things we would rather not talk about." Rias said with a small smile.

I nodded to her in appreciation before continuing. "After that, my father told me to go to bed because he'd be training me in the early morning. I did just that after texting Akeno." I glanced at the girl who had a mischievous smile adorned on her face. "When I woke up, a sea of darkness covered my floor and a figure entered my room. That's when I saw my father's true form for the first time. I was thoroughly scared shitless." I chuckled at the memory.

It had only been three weeks in his domain, but remembering his face didn't even give me a chill, much less scare me.

"Once he had explained everything to me, he took me to the Egyptian Land of Lost Souls where I trained. The time there is different. One hour here is one week there." I paused my explanation knowing if I didn't I would get interrupted.

"Dude! That's like the hyperbolic time chamber. Except it's insanely nerfed." Issei jumped up, regaining his previous energy and rushing over to me. "What was it like! Were there ghosts? Mummies? Oh were there any sexy mummies like in that one game-"

He didn't get to finish as Koneko punched him hard in the gut, sending him flying into the opposite wall.

"Thanks." I smiled at the girl. She gazed at me hesitantly for a few seconds before nodding and returning to her sweets. Although I couldn't help but notice that she sat just a little closer to me.

Issei got up after a few seconds and threw himself onto the couch Kiba was sitting on. Everyones' eyes were on him. He cleared his throat.

"Ahem. Continue." He said professionally.

I restrained the urge to laugh at his shift in character before moving on. "To answer your questions Issei, It was like…well hell. No, there were no ghosts. Yes there were mummies, and no there were no sexy mummies. There were female mummies, but they weren't very desirable." My explanation got a sad sigh from the pervert.

"Once we arrived, Anubis summoned a hellhound which chased me. It ended up biting off my right arm, but I managed to temporarily escape through a hole. The doggo followed after me, breaking a few bones in the process and prepared to finish me. That's when I stopped being an idiot and remembered that I'm a god and this is a dog. I used my father's domain to kill the mutt." I explained with a tingle of embarrassment in my voice.

Surprisingly everyone looked surprised and even with some respect.

"D-Did you say you k-killed a hellhound?" Rias asked in disbelief.

"Yeah, that a big deal?" I asked in return.

She shook her head. "Hellhounds are usually around middle class to high class. It's not so much of a big deal, as it is surprising that someone who knew nothing about the supernatural a day ago could deal with one of them."

I nodded at her explanation before continuing. "Once I killed the hellhound, my father showed up, and called me an idiot for taking so long. Then he told me we would be working on three of the five divine domains I currently possess. The first week was spent working on [Death], the second week [Chaos], and the final week [War]. Once my training was done, I returned here and got ready for school." I finished my explanation with a tired sigh.

"You said you possess five domains?" Sona queried with a raised eyebrow. Getting a nod as her answer she continued. "One of those domains is [War] if I heard you correctly. Does this domain allow you to bestow the blessings that Set can bestow?"

Everyone else perked up at this question. Their eyes tracked over to me in anticipation, and desperation for Rias. Why? No idea.

"In theory, my potential mastery of all my domains should be equal to that of the gods who hold them. Which is infinite. So to answer your question, President. Although I don't know how to do it now, I have books that I could learn to do it from." I explained.

Smiles grew on the faces of the ORC and the Student Council President and Vice President.

"Thank you for indulging in my question." Sona smiled. It was unusual to see her smile, in all my time in school, I didn't see her smile the entire time. Now I've seen her smile three times and that's just today.

"You have a very pretty smile. You should do it more often." I voiced my thoughts with a bit of reluctance.

Her smile disappeared and was replaced by a look of surprise. I could tell she hadn't expected that.

*Cough* "Y-Yes, thank you for the compliment." Sona coughed out. I looked at her cheeks and noticed she had been more or less unaffected by my compliment, if not a bit surprised.

"Ara ara, what's this Isamu? Cheating on me already?" Akeno asked in mock hurt. Her words took me out of my thoughts and I turned my attention to her.

"Of course not. As if I would dare go against someone as beautiful as yourself. I just called it as I saw it. Presidents' smile was rather pleasant to look at." I explained with a teasing expression.

"Wait, you two are dating!? Why didn't you say anything to me, aren't I your best friend!?" Issei asked as he shook me uncaringly.

I for one opted against answering. His shaking wasn't affecting me at all, when you spend a week flying in the air and freefalling at will, little motions like this leave you unaffected.

"Issei." Rias called which instantly garnered the boy's attention. "Think nothing of their banter. Akeno is quite the tease, and Isamu is the first I've seen to challenge her. They are not and will most likely never be anything more than that.

Ouch. That hurt a little. Although I hid that feeling well when I noticed Akeno was looking at me expectantly. Had she thought I'd be affected by such words? I have already decided Himejima Akeno will be mine, the words of Rias Gremory wouldn't dare stand in my way!

"It's true, Akeno and I enjoy teasing each other. As of right now that's all we are." I explained with a knowing smile.

"Ara, and pray tell, what will we be?" Akeno asked, her teasing smile all too apparent.

"That's for me to know, and for you to find out." I said with my own teasing smile.

"It's getting late, and I have to deal with Saji's failure at getting a contract. I will see you tomorrow Rias." Standing up, Sona walked over to Rias.

"Yes, we have to deal with our own contracts as well. Thank you for coming Sona."

Sona then turned to me and gave a slight bow along with Tsubaki. "Thank you for informing us about your heritage, and your night. I pray you will aid us in the future, Isamu-san."

I nodded and was about to say goodbye when I realized something.

They haven't heard my request for them yet.

Sona seemed to see the look of realization on my face and quickly teleported away.

'[I think you got scammed, Partner.]' Ddraig chuckled.

I for one was uncaring. I could always just ask them later. Running now was more like a strategic retreat than actually getting rid of the problem.

"Right now, before you do your contracts, I would like to ask Koneko-chan for a request." I announced, emphasizing the chan.

Koneko looked at me with an expressionless face, although I felt a bit of fear. I kneeled in front of her and held out my hand.

"What I want from you, Koneko-chan, is simple. Meet my mom." I explained. Koneko looked stunned by my request although nothing outweighed the confusion that followed.

"...Why?" She asked. Her expressionless face remained as she tilted her head to the side. 'This girl is adorable.'

'[My last host was American. I believe the correct people to call for your kind there was the FBI. Do they have a Japanese equivalent?]'

I cut the link after I heard the annoying dragons attempt at teasing me. Back and forth teasing with a sexy desirable girl, I could handle. Back and forth teasing with a fifty meter ancient fucking dragon is where I draw the line.

"Why? Does there need to be a reason for my mom to meet another of her race? The Nekoshou are near extinction. I believe it would do good for all of us to become closer." I explained with a smile.

The girl's face gained a slight look of surprise before it turned into fear. She started playing with her thumbs and avoiding eye contact.

"You don't need to do it now. Hell, you don't even have to do it within the next year. We all will live a long time. So all I ask is that one day, you do meet her." I held out my hand to the girl.

She looked at it for a few seconds before nodding and grabbing it gently. A small smile worked its way onto her lips.

Once I saw that Koneko was feeling comfortable with me, I looked at Rias who had a heartwarming smile on her face.

"I'll ask my request from you, Akeno, and Kiba later. Nothing really comes to mind as of right now." I said while rubbing the back of my head bashfully.

"Take your time, Isamu. If that's all, the club is going to begin doing contracts and teaching Issei the basics. You're welcome to stay if you wish." Rias offered, but I shook my head.

"Although I plan on joining the club sooner or later, I have some reading to do." I said with a small bow.

"I understand, have a good night."

"You as well, Rias-senpai." I said before gathering some shadow magic around my body and vanishing into nothing. Once I disappeared, I eyed the shocked faces of everyone in the room. Afterall, even though I was gone, I was actually still there.

"That was so fucking badass!" Issei exclaimed in shock. "Can I learn how to do that?"

Rias facepalmed again. I almost felt bad for her. Almost.

Phasing through the wall, I started making my way back home.
