It's the first day of the first month of the year. The weather is bloody freezing. Snow fells, coating every single thing you could possibly see, turning them into pure white. Exactly what you expect from winter.
For the Fire Folks like us, however, things like this, are mere visual changes, since our body can easily adapt to any temperature of any situation, whether it is hot or cold.
Following the direction, which the guard showed us, we finally arrived at a huge building, shaped like a giant loaf of bread— *sigh* I seriously need to eat those breakfasts Mother Adeline prepared.
"Au-di-to-rium… I think we arrived at the correct place, My Prince."
Said Anna as she tries to spell what's written above the front doors with a straight face.
"Well, what are we waiting for?"
Through those said doors, both of us then hop in. The first one to greet our eyes was the ginormous stage built at the front of the room we walked in.
"It's very… crowded."
Everywhere we look we saw students sitting on the red padded seats which were embedded in the stair-like formation floors, slowly descending to the front, where the stage was located.
A myriad of colors painted the whole room, each of the seat columns was filled by the students from the same tribe. Their hair, eyes, and skin are unique to each of their elements.
I can see the fire folks lined up on the far right. Their crimson red hair, amber eyes, and honey-colored skin match exactly like ours.
All of them also wearing their Waraney uniforms, which kinda varied in design depending on their combat classes, but similar in shades that are black and red.
"Yo Mr. Almighty Heir of The Rainbow Crown, over here! We save some spot just for you two!"
I heard a familiar voice calling for us, and so I look. Behold our cousins, four of em'. Two boys six girls, each seated on a pair under the same row.
"Oh, how very kind of you."
We took the offers while playfully approaching them, putting our bums at the very edge of this room.
"Bro, you're supposed to be the fastest among all the fifth generation, how come you're almost late?"
The closest one to me asked mockingly, I can hear a faint laugh coming out of his mouth.
"I'm stuck at the comfort of my bed," I replied.
"Hahahaha, and this holy trunk you brought?" He continued with the question, pointing out at my box of breakfast.
"A gift from Mother Adeline, as she bestowed me with nutrition for my upcoming endeavor."
Both of us know how heavenly her cooking is. Just holding it in my hands can instantly make my mouth watery.
"Well too bad for you sleepyhead, the ceremony is about to begin, better hold it till it's over."
Ah, he's right, I guess I need to endure some times of suffering for now.
I might call them cousins, but some of them are actually far distant cousins. We shared the same ancestor who is the first ruler of the Fire tribe.
The Genka (Fire tribe) mainline consisted of two families, the Vasurha family which rules the Maksallatan province at Selebes Island, and the Kaukseya family which rules the humanoid kingdom here at the Island of Kaput.
My father is the King of the Chaotic Kingdom of Kaput, ruling for more than 15 years since it was first established by the God of Death.
Before the kingdom was raised, he married two women and was gifted with three kids. One from my mother's side, the rest from my Ice Mother, Mother Adeline.
Speaking of family, Anna also came from the Vasurha mainline. But she's now a Kaukseya after being married to me. She and I have met since the earliest time of our childhood, at the age of three where our training as Waraney (fire soldier) began.
She and I have been engaged since the day the kingdom was born since my father requested strong blood from the main family to continue the legacy of the Kaukseya Family.
As a result, Anna was chosen as an Ina Waraney instead of Phoenix Waraney. One is made to assist a Santi Waraney, and the other a savior who could heal the entire battlefield.
She left no ill will about it though since she really loves butterflies like a true Ina Waraney.
*Da-Dam!*
Suddenly I heard the sound of a drum struck twice. The whole room grows silent, as we place our attention to the very center of the stage.
Then came a fair lady, fully clothed in sunlight, every part of her body was colored in creamy white, as if she's made out of luminance.
"Praise the Sun…"
Standing afore us is the Head Chancellor of this college, the Goddess of Living Object herself, Austra Keshan. She stepped in with a pearly one-shouldered dress, it looks holy yet not elegant, cute rather, since her posture shaped so young, as if everyone in this room were to be 5 years older than her (although She's not, She's older than the New World itself).
*Clack!*
Out of nowhere, She snapped her finger, and a piece of musical note come out of it. The thing then turns into a megaphone, floating right in front of her mouth, waiting to be shouted at.
Not long after, a short yellow creature walked in. It was none other than a Djinn, and it carried her scripts with it. The element-made being then gives those packs of papers to her.
"Thank you~"
She said as She takes away those scripts from it, with a grateful smile on her face.
The Djinn then leaves, and the stage is all Hers.
"Morning everyone!"
She greeted us, filled with passion and enthusiasm.
"Good morning Your Holiness!"
Not a single one of us doesn't reply. Her light and beauty just enchanted every single one of us, making it extremely hard to not pay attention. She's gorgeous beyond measure, but her face somehow looks somewhat stiff nevertheless highly expressive, as if she's a literal doll or something.
"Hehehehe, it's a nice feeling to see some fresh youthful energy early in the morning~"
I know she's a goddess, but she's just too darn angelic to be real. If I were to be told to die in Her name, BOOM! No hesitation.
"As much as I love to speak to you young ones, this ceremony need to finish as soon as possible, since Sweet Crow hate this kind of thing, and already scheduled class meeting for you lot~"
Oh right, I almost forgot that the Academy and Guild as a whole are owned by her husband, The God of Death, Verslinder Gloria.
He's a free spirit, doing whatever it is he wanted. Yet when it comes to other people, he's very strict with all his rules, timing, and conditions. No one possesses the power to refuse, however.
