5pm
The tour was done. I couldn't find Arianna after it. I only wish I had.
She was the most beautiful person I've ever seen. Yet she seemed not too much interested in me. She ran off with her friend somewhere.
I drag my luggage behind me, making my way to the dorm in which the lady had shown us. The voice came in.
"Mann! Mann! MAAAAANNN!" I hear. I turn around to see Markus.
Everything in me wanted to run, but I wasn't going to be rude to him like that. He waves his arms wildly as he catches his breath when he stops by my side. People look at us as if we're the weird kids of the Academy.
"Man! It's hot out here," Markus says. He rests on his knees while carrying a large backpack on his shoulders and back.
I was surprised he remembered my name. I didn't think he would.
"What's going on?" I ask.
Markus lifts his head up. "Just didn't want to walk alone. I thought maybe you could be my company," Markus says. I turn forward and begin walking slowly so that he'd have time to catch up with me when he wanted.
"Of course." I lie. God, I hate lies. I grind my teeth as I search the general area for Arianna. I knew she'd be long gone by now. Maybe in her dorm or meeting up with another guy. Plenty of them around here that looked a lot better than I did. I'm sure she wouldn't go for a guy like me.
"And then my next class is math! And I strictly signed up for NO MATH! I don't know why the Grand Master of this academy wants to be a prick and give it to me knowing I'm dumb as all Hell!" Markus says.
I nod my head, agreeing with something I didn't even hear the first time.
Markus comes up closer to me, rushing into another guy. Markus falls to his back as the guy nearly stumbles into me.
"Watch where the hell you're going!" The man demands.
I hold my hand out in front of the guy's chest as Markus struggles to get to his feet. The guy kept his eyes on Markus with such anger. "Sorry about that. We'll make sure to watch ourselves next time," I say.
I look around to see students watching.
"Remove your hand!" The guy looks me dead in the eyes. I swallow and look down, still holding my hand in the same position.
Students gathered around. Markus grabbed his luggage from the ground.
"You don't know me, dude. I'm Jason Hamlet. The finest rank 2. 3 years of being in the warrior's program. When I tell you to remove your fucking hand, I mean it!" He says. He was pretty big. Y'all, buff, long black hair, and rough face.
His stubble looked well on him. Seemed as if he were the type of man to chop down trees and weld for a living.
"Sir... Please be calm. You don't want to start something you can't finish," I warn. He tilts his head.
"What the hell did you just say?" Jason begins to take off his backpack.
"Mann. Just leave it be," Markus says. I let go of my luggage as Jason undid his tie. "Sir," I simply say. Jason launched himself at me.
His fist coming at me light speed. Without thinking, I catch his fist in the palm of my hands, throwing it to the side before lightly touching his chest. A loud shockwave hit everyone as Jason's hair flew backward while the wind followed. And with one move, he flies backward one hundred meters.
Everyone gasped as I just stand there. I didn't try. Jason rolls, unable to stand up fully.
Everyone just looks back and forth between Jason and me.
"Whoa..." Markus says.
Whispers all around began to fill my ears. "Fuck you!" Jason yells. I grab my luggage and begin walking. Markus catches up to trying to get words out of his mouth. I chime in.
"Next time, watch where you're going. I don't want you to run into any more people such as him," I say. Markus nods.
People pointed to me as we walk. I felt all eyes on me as Markus talked and talked.
"You're literally a God! How the hell did you get a rank 1??!!!" Markus yells. I make it to my dorm and turn to Markus who stops with a big smile on his face.
"I'll go in now. See ya around, Mark," I say. Markus nods and puts his hand on my shoulder.
"Hey!"
I turn around to see him smiling.
"Thanks for earlier. I don't think I'd be here talking to you. I'd most likely be in the nurse, ha. Thanks, Mann," Markus says. I nod at him and drag my luggage into the dorm.
"Must be that rank 1," I hear.
I close the dorm door behind me. I shake this guy's hand before nodding my head.
"I'm Mezy, you must be Mann. Most wonderfully to meet you," He says. He was about 5'11, dark skin Dominican, short hair, beard, and a good body build. I could tell girls went crazy for this stud. He seemed like one of those playboys. Yet he acted so maturely.
"Mann Kingsman," I introduce.
"Your room is right down there." He motions for me to follow him. I do so. Other guys sit at the table playing chest or in the kitchen making something to. five of them in the living room wrestling while the other three play video games on their iPhones and Tv that was set up in the luxury dorm.
The weirdest thing was how everyone was in their boxers. I could tell they've lived in these dorms so long they've gotten comfortable to the point they walk around half-naked.
I get to my room door, stopping and looking Mezy in his eyes.
"Hey... Do you know anything about Mente?" I whisper. Mezy looks at the other boys and then back to me.
His gold earring shines bright as he flexes his perfect jawline.
"I suppose you want to know of her. From what you've probably heard, she's dangerous. Can take on everyone in this school at the same time, all while only using 0.0001% of her power. And we have some God worthy people in this school. Yet she is so strong. She stays in the West Wing of the school. A small little house next to the girl's dormitory. you can't miss it. It's beautiful. Haven't seen her come out in over a year. Not even the teachers dare to make her angry," Mezy says. I nod.
I step a little closer to Mezy, hoping I wasn't being a little weird.
My orange hair stands out as he looks at my hair like it was unique. For I too also had such a beautiful face and perfect jawline.
"Just feels nice to have someone here who's just as strong as me. she-" I didn't get to finish.
"Stronger," Mezy corrected.
I confusingly look at him. "Stronger... than me?" I ask.
"you may be a rank 1, but she's far beyond that," Mezy says. I nod. "How'd she get her powers?" I ask. Mezy smiles and backs away. "Why isn't that the question we all want to know here. How did we all get our powers?" His voice dims as he backs into the crowd of wrestling boys. He then joins them, forgetting the conversation we were just having.
