Without further ado, Shane picked up Jason to look out for Dalia. He assumed her to be somewhere in the house with Emily because it was already nearing midnight.
Despite looking through all the rooms in his small house, he was still unable to find her, which caused him to wonder where his wife had disappeared to. Jason spotted them outside, lying on a chair, looking like they were sunbathing and relaxing.
Seeing this through his mana eyes, Jason couldn't help but feel jealous because both Dalia and Emily were enjoying their free time while he and Shane were working hard.
This caused his overjoyed mood to plummet by a small margin because he had hoped Emily to be as hard-working as he was.
However, Jason only thought so because of his own selfishness as the thought of building a faction in the future began to grow firm in his mind.
He felt that Emily was the perfect first member of his faction because of several reasons.
