It was impossible for Scorpio to walk through the golden gate, while Artemis occupied Jason's mana core, which was somewhat regretful because he was excited to fuse with all of them in order to become a mutant-like existence.
The only thing that surprised him was that his gut feeling told him that the whole limitations of his gigantic golden gate were neither difficult to understand nor easy at once, leading him to become even more confused than he initially was.
But even if his gut feeling gave him mixed signals, there was nothing for him to do which would change the current situation. For now, there was no way for him to fuse with both Scorpio and Artemis at the same time.
Considering his combat prowess, it would be best to let Scorpio occupy his mana core while fighting with Artemis next to him. But, if he were to fight alone in the 'Big-Three tournament', he might as well use his fortified soul conjunction.
