"Thank you for staying out here with me... I really just needed to clear my mind and I don't want to smoke yet" I kissed her head and a held her close. "Of course... it's beautiful out here isn't it" Vicki asked me an I nodded. Just then Leo walked up behind us "dinner is served ladies, please do enjoy" we thanked her as we made our way towards the food. "Wow this smells more than amazing thank you so much Leo" Vicki said as she sat in front of her plate. "Yes this looks just as good as it smells we appreciate it for sure" I said with my eyes glued on Vicki. Leo said you're welcome and headed back to the kitchen.
"You're mighty friendly all of a sudden.." I said locking eyes with her as she slowly looked up at me, she smirked and shook her head. "Have you you tasted this cauliflower rice? It's delicious" Vicki nervously asked switching the subject; I cut into my Cornish hen taking a bite. Reminding myself that we are still healing I went with switching the subject. "I'm so excited to be in El Nido baby. I can't wait to take you on so many cute romantic dates" I smiled an reached for her hand. "I can't either Danni. I feel it will be a well needed break for both of us" she continued to eat as did I. Syxel came over to check on us. "No I'm ok, baby you need anything" I looked over to Vicki. "Uhh.. no I think I'm ok as well thank you" she collected our plates and Vicki relaxed back in her chair just staring off. "What's on your mind beautiful" I relaxed back myself asking as I got comfortable. "Nothing I'm just sleepy again... I fear the time difference is getting to me" she yawned standing to stretch. She walked over and sat right next to me again. "Cuddle please" she looked up with the cutest face. I wrapped my arms around her and she grinned from ear to ear.
"Mitchell Family... we've landed, thank you for flying Falcon" the pilot said smiling as he woke us. "Please fly again" he exclaimed with a smile. We got up and stretched heading off the jet, Vicki stopped me an said she forgot something. I waited for her at the bottom of the steps, she's so beautiful. My thoughts where interrupted "you ready" Vicki came down the steps smiling and I nodded. "Yes I am beautiful" I kissed her as we made our way to the car. "I'm so glad we brought the car with us, that really was a great idea" Vicki said. I opened her door to help her in "yea.. we will be out here for a month so I just wanted us to be able to go freely without having to car or wait for people" I shut my car door an an took a deep breath before putting the villa into the gps. As I was typing Eva's text came across the screen. I rushed to take it off the mount an see what she said. When I glanced up to see if Vicki noticed she was staring out the window. I could already tell this was going to be a conversation and soon.
"I know y'all busy but I just wanted to apologize for everything.. I couldn't face her when she came by or give her answers you couldn't because I don't even know what this is D. I know she loves you and I know I love you... I just hate things have gone this way.. I'm sorry Danni" I locked my phone cause my skin was boiling. The fuck she mean "she couldn't face her when she came by" when did Vic- then my thoughts took me back to right before we were leaving... a tear welled up as I finished typing in the address. "Did she really go over there? Right before we left for our honeymoon?! Is that why she was so hesitant to go? Does she have feelings for Eva" my mind was racing an questioning everything while I drove. I can't believe this is shit!
"Are you okay" Vicki asked hesitantly. "Yea I'm straight.. just want to hurry an get there so I can shower" I could hear the attitude but I couldn't adjust it. This time I couldn't fake it.
