Another Day another Death

*RING* *RING* *RING*

'Ahhhhhh just a little longer. '

A young man looking no more than 17 rose from the tangled sheets of his bed.

'Ahh, the week just started and I'm already exhausted.' 'Two more weeks and it'll be Christmas break.'

After sluggishly getting the daily necessities done I was finally prepared to go to school

While walking to school I see one of my friends

"Yo Jason, how has it been?"

"Hmmm oh, morning Adam I've been good how was your weekend?"Jason replied

"I was just studying again I only got to sleep for 10 hours

"We don't have any tests until next month, no need to go that far."

"Yeah I know but this is going to be my first term in College I'm a bit anxious."

"Hmm I know what you're saying but you really should get some rest it's just as important as studying," he explained

"Yeah, your right I'll get some rest, oh where here see you at English Jason."

"See you later Adam."

Two hours into the class the intercom at the top of the lecture hall announced for us to turn off the lights and hide in a corner of the room.

The rest of the students scared and confused scrambled for the corners trampling those unfortunate enough to fall.

While trying to get to one of the corners of the room I was knocked down by one of the students.

Before I could even get back up I heard a crashing noise followed by screams.

Unknown: " So this is where you little rats have been hiding huh?

"Do you know how many rooms I had to go through to find you little rats do you?!" the man asked

At the front of the class, the door stood a large hefty man in a

stained camo suit, but it wasn't his appearance, nor was it how he entered no what drew the most attention was the gun that he held.

When the students saw the man and the weapon he carried they screamed while I just froze in place.

"Hey, I want you all to shut up and sit down like good little kids alright?!"

While everyone else opted to follow the man's instructions, I was trying to get up to try and get to one of the corners of the room, but I didn't move fast enough.

"Hey you are dumb or something told you to sit down?!"

When I heard him a tremendous amount of fear swelled up in my mind I couldn't move nor could I respond, all I could do was just stand there

"Are you deaf?" I said sit down!"

Still, I was unable to make a response.

The man annoyed at my silence aimed his gun at me.

"You kids act like you're better than everyone just because you went to a fancy school, but yet here you all can't seem to figure out who's in charge.

That was my mistake let me fix that."

I was finally able to move but it was too late, in my stunned and horrified eyes he fired his gun.

I felt something sharp on my throat then I felt a warm liquid pour from my throat, I was then hit with a horrendous pain but I couldn't even scream, as tears started to fill my eyes as I knew I was going to die.

'I don't want to die please I haven't even graduated, I haven't even driven a car yet. I want to live please not like this I have so much I want to do!"

Then the world went dark.
