Akira Tanaka, a disillusioned office worker, wakes up to find himself not in his cramped apartment, but in a fantastical world teeming with magic and monsters. He soon discovers he's been thrust into a brutal "God Game," a competition between higher beings who pit civilizations against each other for their amusement. Unlike the other players, reincarnated as powerful heroes or cunning strategists, Akira is an "Irregular." He possesses no special skills or combat prowess. Armed with nothing but his sardonic wit and a surprising knowledge of strategy gleaned from years of online gaming, Akira must navigate a world where survival hinges on building a civilization from scratch. Thrown into a hostile environment populated by orcs, elves, and territorial dwarves, Akira struggles to earn the trust of the scattered human tribes. With the help of a mysterious guide, a mischievous fairy with a gambling addiction, and a band of misfit outcasts, Akira devises unorthodox methods to build his fledgling nation. As Akira's unorthodox methods lead to unexpected successes, he attracts the attention of both rival players and the enigmatic Game Masters themselves. Now, he must not only contend with powerful warriors and scheming deities, but also the question of what it truly means to be a leader and a god. Is victory his ultimate goal, or will he forge a different path, defying the very rules of the game and rewriting the fate of his world?

Akira stared at his status window, his intelligence was just going up at every chance it gets, this literally has to make him the most intelligent person on the planet of not the universe, but then again if this keeps going up he might become omniscient.
The soldiers needed to get ready for battle, Akira, Jiro, Haruto, Thorgrim, Kaede and Elandra all went to check Thorgrim's workshop, the weapons were almost ready, the armor that Akira had previously seen had been made to a more portable version that would literally hug the users body.
"Thorgrim-san, how did you improve the armor this time?" Akira asked with the others showing anxiousness to know about it.
Thorgrim went to the armor and infused it with a little amount of his mana, the armor opened up arousing surprise from those present including Akira.
"The moment you get into the armor, it closes up and takes mana according to the amount you have and creates a barrier around you to repel physical attacks." Thorgrim explained.
"Hmm, that's really nice. I believe that it will come good in the coming battle. What about the sword?" Akira pointed at the sword that was still on Thorgrim's table.
Jiro was visibly interested in hearing about the sword, he believed that the weapon would be vital in their battles against the Orcs.
"You mean swords?" Thorgrim said with made Akira and Jiro to look at him questioningly.
"What do you mean by swords?" Jiro asked.
Thorgrim, went and brought out two more swords that looked like the one on the table, the others were shocked at the way he was able to replicate the designs of the sword.
"I perfected the swords, right now it doesn't drain mana as much as it did the other day. Now it works on a limited amount of mana, as much as half of the users mana reserves." Thorgrim explained, causing Akira and Haruto to nod in approval.
Akira and Jiro left his workshop to go commence training, they had to get stronger if they wanted to end Grishnak's reign and they had to get stronger fast. Mei was preparing the healers and Lyra was leading the communication team to get more information that will help them during the incoming battle.
Jiro and Akira both took their battle stances, Jiro charged at Akira but he was able to dodge but just barely, Jiro kept on attacking but Akira kept on blocking and dodging Jiro's attacks. Akira threw a punch of his own which Jiro blocked, Akira had the upper hand this time attacking with all his might, he threw punches and kicks but none seemed to hit Jiro.
<Your Vitality had increased>
<Your Agility has increased>
Akira saw the system messages pop up before his eyes and he smiled at it, his agility increasing meant that he was getting faster, his vitality increasing meant that he wouldn't get easily fatigued.

Finally something other than his intelligence had increased, he saw Jiro coming to attack at the corner of his eye and he dodged, Jiro's hand still grazed him despite all that.
"How are you able to do that?" Akira asked as he saw that Jiro was being amplified by mana.
"What?" Jiro asked, thinking Akira meant how he was able to punch.
"How do you use mana to enhance your speed and strength?" Akira asked.
"Almost anyone who has mana can do it. It's not a special skill so I'm sure you'll be able to do it." Jiro said causing Akira to light up.
"So I'd be able to do it as well huh?" Akira thought, he put his hand on his chin, Lyra had said that he was an Irregular with no special skills or abilities but she didn't say that he wouldn't be able to learn anything new and from what she said, the system doesn't have any limits and so that would make anything he learns evolve and with his intelligence, learning it would be a piece of cake.
"Teach me how it's done." Akira finally said to Jiro.
"I can't teach you, if you want to learn it you'll have to go to Mei, she's the one who's more versed in mana based abilities." Jiro answered.
Akira just sighed and looked at Jiro then smiled.
"I'll get it eventually. Let's carry on." He raised his fists up preparing for Jiro's next attack.
Meanwhile at the Orc strongholds, Grishnak's army was getting ready to pounce upon the allied villages, Lyra had sent soldiers back to the village to inform Akira and it seemed like they hadn't gotten to the village yet. Lyra felt fear just by looking upon Grishnak and it wasn't the good kind either.
Akira sat down panting, Jiro stood beside him holding a cup of water, a system message popped up in front of Akira.
<Your strength has increased>
<Your durability has increased>
<Your intelligence has increased>
<Your Agility has increased>
<Your Vitality has increased>
Akira smiled as he saw all those messages, the increasing attributes would come in handy against Grishnak, he had to be at his best against the Orc leader or they would all die.

His skills still hadn't changed, although he didn't learn anything except basic battle stances and techniques and he just basically sparred with Jiro for most of the day. He had rest as the battle was fast approaching.
