"Samuel?" Joy Parker looked at Samuel Johnson, also somewhat surprised. She hugged Amanda Smith's arm and tilted her head, "What are you doing here?"
"Came to see what you've eaten." Samuel Johnson watched Joy, his tone carrying a hint of a smile. He reached out toward her and said, "Come on, I'll take you somewhere else to stroll."
"No, I want to stay with Amanda."
Joy Parker held on tightly to Amanda Smith's hand, shaking her head like a rattle drum.
"Come here."
The man was smiling, but his tone was far from gentle; it even carried a chilling forcefulness.
Joy Parker slightly frowned, and out of the corner of her eye, she suddenly spotted someone. Her heart skipped a beat, she let go of Amanda Smith's hand, and quickly grabbed the extended fingers of Samuel Johnson.
