Chapter 519: Controversy

He thought for a moment and said to her, "It's right next to the secretary's office, the one next to the office you just visited. Do you remember the way?"

Amanda Smith recalled for a second and nodded her head.

Samuel Johnson broke into a smile, "If you don't remember, I can take you there."

Amanda Smith glared at him while holding the documents. If she really needed him to take her, what was the point of her copying the documents.

She clutched the documents and clattered away. Samuel Johnson watched her receding figure, his smile growing warmer and warmer.

He smiled to himself for a while, then poured himself another cup of coffee.

After more than an hour, the coffee had cooled, bitter in his mouth. He reclined back as if savoring a usual aftertaste, slightly squinting his eyes, a trace of contented relaxation emanated from deep within him.

If one was to stay in heaven for a while before going to hell, this feeling was indeed quite nice.
