Dungeon

They arrived at the Dungeon gate and it was being monitored by the Hunter's association. Being isolated and quarantined in case a dungeon break occurs. The Gate was exuding several sparks and miasma of redish color. A spiralling vortex was seen after they went out of the jeep.

Upon their arrival, the dungeon manager immediately greeted him. Wearing a suit and a bowtie that was fluttering due to the wind.

"Welcome Hunters! I welcome you all to the Dungeon B-36. We will have a briefing first before you will all dungeon dive. Here, I will lead the way to the briefing room," he gestured towards the nearest building. They were inside a compound-like grounds with walls encompassing them.

They entered the briefing area and it was a room with a long table and chairs. A projector was seen making slides of pictures and the meeting started. They took their seats and Lumiel sat on the back.

"Ahem, so we will start the briefing. This dungeon was a C-tier diffculty, meaning you all are fit for the task. The monsters were Fire salamanders and the boss is an elite class Fire Salamander King. We will provide rations for the team to last for 3 days. Your clear requirements were to kill 30 fire salamanders and the boss. Any questions?" he asked.

"By the time you all enter the dungeon. Don't forget to class equip alright!" he said.

They soon went to the dungeon gate and they all used Class equip.

Class equip!

Changing their clothes into their Hunter clothes. Lumiel was a Healer and so he has white robes and a staff. Others were equipped with armor and weapons.

"Let's go!" shouted their leader who was in Paladin attire.

They entered the dungeon gate and saw that they were a pretty decent team. They have a Ranger, Elementalist, Paladin, Guardian, Druid, Berserker, and him the Healer of the team.

Arriving at the location, they saw a vast desert. A very dry air assaulted them and they only could only cover their eyes in the assault of the sun's rays.

They soon went to find a target but the target was already there heading towards them. A fire salamander was walking to their location and they all readied for combat.

"Team! Muster up! Get ready for combat!" Trevor shouted.

They get readied for an upcoming battle. The fire salamander was walking until it became faster and faster. Dashing towards them.

The Paladin and Guardian immediately stood on the front and were attacked with fire breath that was coming from its mouth.

"Ranger! Now!" Trevor shouted.

Immediately Lumiel had his mouth arched up.

For the Ranger, critical buff and enchanted swift on its weapon. Elementalist with mana and evasion. Paladin for Barrier protection and swift blocks. Guardian for Stamina and physical damage resistance. Druid for Strength and health regeneration. Berserker for Speed and sharpen.

Whoa, I feel so good today!

I think I am stronger now!

Wow, is this called buff?

It felt like I was stronger by threefold!

"Kekekek!" Lumiel was chuckling. Deep inside, he still has more in his sleeve.

The Ranger leaped and fired arrows on the enemy. Piercing its back. The Elementalist fired fire cannon on its face and it was bursting with explotions.

The Druid summoned elemental vines and a bear. The Berserker dashed and slashed its head apart. Making it shriek upon its death.

Everyone was surprised by their strength and were left dumbstruck. Making it a new sensation to have such buffs on them. It really felt new and unnatural but was satisfying.

Lumiel! Nice one!

I am impressed with your buffs!

Buff me again okay?

"Sure!" Lumiel was happy to at least help.

It was then, the salamanders used dig and they emerged from the ground like a bursting ambush. There were multiple enemies at once!

It was a very jolting experience for them to get surprised. Lumiel then buffed everyone. And also debuffed the enemies.

Calm

Fear

Confusion

Slow

Halt

Weaken

Disorganize

Sleep

His teammates were shocked in stupor but then again, they attacked, dispersing their stare at the enemies.

The enemies were all in negative status and some were even sleeping. They immediately finished them all as the chance was upon them. They slashed and fired spells on them.

All were slain and they even haven't break a sweat yet. They immediately patted Lumiel as they chuckled. Some even messed his hair.

As they were celebrating, there was a rumbling from beneath. They were all alerted and stopped their joyous mood.

Boom!

Emerged from the ground was the Fire Salamander King. Lumiel was alerted, it was an elite class and was bigger than the ones they were fighting. Towering height and even fiercer, tougher.

Lumiel used debuffs on it but it was to no effect.

"Maybe it can resist my debuffs! I will leave him to you guys!" Lumiel shouted, "Damn, my debuffs are still too weak."

The Fire Salamander King immediately shrieked and then breathed fire at them. The formation was immediately disoriented and they scattered.

The Ranger fired arrows on it and the Guardian stood there to block its attacks. The Druid immediately transformed to Werebear and then smashed its head off. The Paladin dashed and slashed with his sword. With his skill Aegis and Iron defense still active, he grabbed the opportunity to attack. Also with his spell resistance still working.

The Elementalist fired spells on it but fire element was ineffective on it. Still, the explosion was damaging its face.

The Fire Salamander King spewed lava on them and the Guardian was hit. The Paladin immediately dashed to block the damage but his buff was about to end. The Guardian immediately was pulled from the front line and Lumiel healed him.

Lumiel then enchanted his armor with Health regeneration and patted his back. Lumiel sighed and then turned serious.

"Okay guys, I will join the front lines!" Lumiel announced.

"But! You are a healer. We can't lose our healer this time!" Trevor shouted.

"I will take a lot to kill me." Lumiel then enchanted his weapon with Heavy weight. From the looks of it, he could still swing his staff without problem even with a ton of weight.

The Fire Salamander King immediately exuded heat steam and its surroundings were scorched.

"Paladin, Berserker, and me will attack. Ranger, continue dealing damage from afar! Elementalist, continue distracting him!" Lumiel shouted.

The Boss shrieked and it attacked.

"Guys, now!" Lumiel dashed together with them. The Fire salamander king breathed fire and the Elementalist collided with his attack.

"Good! Ranger, fire arrows!" Lumiel commanded.

Soon, arrows rained on the enemy. Lumiel and the others then attacked and they were in sync. The Berserker slashed and hacked. Lumiel smashed the head and it was bashed with the great weight of his weapon. The Paladin slashed and hacked.

Still, the surroundings were hot and they were slowly damaged. Lumiel immediately healed them and the fight continued.

Bashing and smashing made its body shudder. Enough to make the enemy knocked away. Lumiel also threw his staff and the enemy was hit. Making it to get outbalanced and knocked down.

"Finish it!" Lumiel shouted. The other two then attacked and they deal some damage. Finishing off the enemy on the process.

They soon all felt good and a notification was seen.
