Here We Go Again

White light covered his whole vision and he couldn't make anything out.

'hmm this feels similar' Just as he thought, He heard a faint voice getting louder.

"Alex? Alex? Are you okay? Talk to me Alex" The voice was now closer and he could control his body.

'I am not dead?' Alex slowly opened his eyes and a beautiful face of a young girl greeted him. 

"You....you are okay? You scared me....wuuuu" The cute girl had tears in her eyes as she hugged Alex tightly, afraid that he would go limp once again.

As Alex was confused about the beauty that was hugging him, he felt a strong pain in his head as the memory of two lives merged.

"Mia, I am alright. I think I just passed out because of the excitement" Alex answered back as he finally knew the relationship between the girl and him. She was his sister. 

Finally hearing that her brother was okay, she let go of him and slapped him on his head. "You....you scared me! Dad ran to get the doctor" Mia rubbed the tears from her eyes and she stepped back.

"I can't believe you fainted from the excitement. I know Natasha is the most beautiful girl in our town and you are about to marry her today but you can't be fainting all the time!" She was about to tease her brother even more when the door of the room was shattered as two people walked in.

"Son? You are okay?" The man who had destroyed the door was stunned looking at his son sitting casually on the bed.

"Yes Dad, I am fine" Alex smiled back as he checked out his new dad. He knew from his memory that his dad was 50 years old yet he looked no older than 26. His black hair didn't have a single patch of white hair while his body looked strong like a tiger.

"Let me take a look. We all know Alex is a mortal so it might be some hidden ailment" The doctor that was standing behind the dad took charge and walked up to Alex. 

As he had done thousands of times before, Alex raised his hand for the doctor to check his pulse.

'Azura Continent, East Blue Nation, Blossom Town' As Alex checked his new memories, he knew where he was. Another world, Another Life. 

'Why the hell I am getting isekai'd again? First, it was the magic world, and now this, A qi?" The original owner of the body was a bookworm so now Alex knew a lot about this world. A world that was governed by qi, A energy that is supposed to be in every human being and they can cultivate it to become very strong. The bookworm had even read that there were people who could fly through the air and destroy mountains with a wave of their palm.

Alex looked at the broken door and he knew that it was not a fantasy. He had seen his new dad break the door as if it was a bag of straws. Alex gulped his saliva, 'Fuck, I can't let them know that a new soul is occupying their dead son's body'

'Dead? Why did he die?' Alex suddenly thought and looked around, finally staring at the soup that his sister had given him just before he failed.

'This ki feels similar to the mana' He thought as he tried to control the Qi just as he did mana but he couldn't. It felt like something was broken inside.

'Poison?' Alex thought as he closed his eyes and checked his internal organs, 10 years in the fantasy world had made him very knowledgeable about his body and how to use internal vision. The greatest gain from the previous world was the medical book that had helped him become the strongest mage in just 10 years.

'There is a poison but it is recent, the damage to my body is very old' Alex was confused as he checked the poison. 'A soul rendering poison?' He almost smiled as he knew about the poison, it was a novice poison that could kill the soul of any mortal. The poison could kill the soul of the bookworm that occupied this body before, but it was like cheap water in front of the soul of the demon king. A soul that was very strong due to being pulled through multiple worlds. Alex had trained a lot in the previous world to make his soul as strong as possible. 

Alex noticed the effects of the soul rendering poison weak and weak as it was unable to destroy his soul until there was no poison in his body. 

"Sir, There is nothing wrong with the young master. He must not have eaten anything and passed out due to the excitement" The doctor looked at Alex with a hint of jealousy as he continued, "Your son is about to marry the most beautiful girl of this town so this is normal" He laughed as he turned toward Alex's Dad.

"His Qi Veins are also in the same shape. Still broken" The doctor finally finished his evaluation and stepped out. 

"Are you feeling okay son?" Dad asked again.

"I am alright Dad. I just fainted but I am okay" Alex replied as his father placed his hand on Alex's shoulder.

"Take it easy son. Let me know if you feel anything strange" 

"yes father" Alex reassured.

"Mia, Help your brother dress up for his marriage" Dad had a sad smile on his face as he too stepped out of the room.

Alex knew why his new daddy was sad. His son was trash!

 Every human and creature in the Azura continent has Qi inside them and Qi viens help them regulate and control the Qi yet Alex's veins were broken from childhood so he couldn't become a cultivator.
