Trina Comes To Stay

Katarina's POV

As I sat on the bed, I was excited about who I was becoming and happy that finally I could do what I wanted.

I would be able to stay safe and try to get this Jane of a girl hitched with someone.

The eye appeared before me as I smiled.

"Finally, I got her safe. Now can I go? I can't stay here for much longer."

But the eye was not having it.

"You are not done with your mission yet."

"She. Is. Safe." I gritted my teeth. "What else do you want from me? Should I have her fucked and have a baby through her? I've done what I could for this girl. Almost gotten killed multiple times. Been kidnapped multiple times and now I'm in a fix."

"That is why you'll have to get her out of the fix you've dropped her in. She's blind, how can you be insensitive and lie about you knowing how to cure the prince?"

"Well it was either lie or tell the truth. The latter can have me hanged."

The eye sighed as I laid back on the bed with the large sentient creature floating to me.

"Complete your mission and you'll have your reward. I am here if you have any questions to ask me."

I felt like I could ask this being any question and get my answer without any trouble.

"How's the things back in my world?"

I wanted to know if anyone missed me or if they had found my body yet. 

"I am not at liberty to answer questions out of the timeline you're in."

"Great. And you won't give me any cheat to winning this? Maybe tell me how to get a cure for the king."

I can't do that. That is something you would need to do on your own."

This had me frowning as I waved the eye away which disappeared.

Now it was time to start taking my job seriously and acting like a maid. A blind one.

Throughout the day, I walked around and deliberately stumbled upon so many things so that I would make my mark as the new blind maid.

I watched some of the maids laugh at me as they put traps on the road and left the brooms along my path to step on it and fall.

Sometimes I would step on it and stumble as they laughed at me while I struggled to get up in a blind way and at other times, I would fall to the ground in exhaustion and stay there until they were gone.

At some point, I would be along the pool, walking and see people sneaking up to me in front of me to pour something on me.

This would have me groaning and almost rushing out to them as I would hold myself back from doing anything stupid.

With a sigh, I decided to report to the alpha while we hung out at his balcony in his room.

"Your maids don't particularly like me," I reported as he sighed.

"What did they do this time?"

"Minus setting traps for me since I'm blind and pushing me around as well as pouring stuff on me, they've been rude and insensitive to my predicament as a blind person."

"Can't you just… I don't know, avoid them?"

"Sure. Let the blind girl avoid every obstacle in her way. That sounds believable."

But then he turned to me. "You're behaving like you just got blind recently. Blind people are not all that helpless you know. They have the ability to control their movements and sense with their other organs. They have ears to hear sound and nose to smell stuff. 

"Their hands to touch and feel stuff. You go around stumbling on every obstacle before you. That's not wise. I'd suggest you start behaving like a blind girl with powers rather than stumbling upon everything."

That was a good idea. He was right. I had read an article where blind people had their other sensory organs heightened due to their eyes being removed and here I was having the wrong idea about blind people.

With a sigh, I decided that I was going to handle this maturely and that was what I did.

As soon as I finished with the prince and started for the door, it opened before I got there and Trina got in with a surprised look on her face.

She waved her hand over my face as I looked in one direction without moving it around.

"Is anyone there?" I asked as she nodded and came forth with a daring look. "Hello?"

"It's Trina," the prince said behind me as I smiled and bowed before her.

"Welcome," I said. "I didn't see you there. I thought the room was empty as I was only with the prince. You must be really silent to have entered without me hearing you."

"I was…" she looked behind me before answering. "I just got in. You were leaving?"

"Yes."

I stretched my hand in front of me as I fumbled around before reaching for the door, opening it and getting out with the door shutting behind me.

That had been a very close one.

I had almost fallen in trouble with the woman and she didn't seem to like me one bit.

As I walked to my room which was in the maid quarters, I heard moans coming from a maids room.

I took a peek in to see a male maid having rough sex with a female one.

With a shrug, I started to my room.

As I entered the room, I found a naked man standing before me while going around the room.

I was shocked and almost screamed but I held my cool as I was blind and didn't want to do anything that would make me being blind a lie.

"Who's in here?" I asked with urgency in my voice as the man walked up to me with a dirty smile on his face.
