Chapter 4

Magnus reigned his horse to a halt in front of the central gate of Hora, the place was deadly looking, it was beautifully frightening but his expression remained of that of being unfazed. Showing his identity to the guard, he saw the central gate rolling upwards and he mounted his horse and walked into it.

As he rode pass the streets he could see the red eyes looking intently at him as if he was commiting a sin by being there, he also knew that a human wasn't supposed to enter into the lands of the demons but he had no choice, this was the most powerful kingdom and he was hoping for an alliance with the king so he could win the war.

"Get him!" He heard from behind and he knew that they were definitely going to come after him so he reigned his horse and rode away but he couldn't get too far because the demons there had blocked his way, he couldn't even jump over them. The men behind him drew their arrows at him wanting to get rid of this intruder. Not like he had power to hurt them.

"I'm here for King Lucas" Magnus declared as he raised his card with his left hand towards them so they could know who he was, after they saw it the crowd that had formed started making way for him to pass. If he tried doing anything stupid their king wasn't going to go easy on him so they let him have his way.

Magnus sighed in relief as he rode towards where the castle was, he stopped in front of a dark castle, it had a red flag on top of it and on the two sides were structure of rhino's. There were also two guards guarding the castle, they were wearing a golden armor over their black robe and they looked fierce, Magnus jumped down from his horse and tied it down.

He walked over to the fierce looking guards as he showed his identity to them and told them the reason he was there, "Do you have an appointment with the king?" The tall man asked in his husky voice.

"I don't but this is very important and he needs to know" Magnus said, he saw the guards glance at one another but he couldn't tell the meaning of that whatever, he wasn't here to keep close on them. He saw them make way for him and he walked past them.

King magnus entered into the dark castle, the inside was far more beautiful than the outside but he must tell that the king of Hora surely liked rhino's because there were so many structures of that animal on both the inside and outside of the mansion.

The guards led him to the place where King Lucas was.

"Greetings to you King Lucas" Magnus said as he bowed his head to the king who looked up from the book he was reading, He glanced at the human with his red eyes and he knew what he was here for instantly.

He jerked his head towards the couch and Magnus quickly went to sit on it, trying not to get on the bad side of this king because he could kill him without batting an eye and no one from his side knew he was here, all his efforts would just be in vain.

"Greetings king Magnus, there must be a reason why you came all the way here, what's it?" Lucas asked going straight to the point without wasting any time. He ordered his servants to get the human king some tea and snacks while they discussed.

After Magnus finished reporting all what has happened to lord Lucas, he saw a wide grin on Lucas's face, "I knew king max is a devil, much worse than I am" He said while checking his long and sharp nails, he took up the filer to start filing his nails all in the presence of his visitor. Lucas didn't care about anything actually, he was vicious scheming, arrogant, cruel so he didn't bother himself showing respect to anyone.

"Don't you agree king Magnus, between I and him, who's more worse, because I keep hearing bad records about myself everywhere but I don't think I'm tha-" he paused with his statement while his eyes flew towards the servant that ended up breaking his precious vase. Anger flashed through his beautiful face, brought his hand creating a vortex around the servant's neck and tightening it. As much as the servant begged him, it all fell on deaf ears as Lucas ended up turning him into dust.

"As we were saying, I don't think I'm that bad I'm I?" He asked as he filed his finger nail.

"You are very evil but I like the way you made it known to everyone unlike king max who's the wolf in a sheep's clothing" King Magnus spoke hoping that his word didn't offend the demon king in any way, he saw the king Lucas lift his head to look at him. Fear gripped him at first when he thought he saw anger flashing in those red eyes but he was later relieved when Lucas had a wide grin on his lips exposing his perfect white teeth.

"I like you already Magnus, let's drop the title shall we?" He asked Magnus and when he saw the latter nod his head, he continued, "I like the way you just spoke the truth although some idiots would try their very best to get on my good side" He finished with his eyes still on his nails which was already beautiful but long and sharp, he looked satisfied.

"I'll help you defeat that imbecile Magnus but you do know that I don't give things for free, it comes with a price" He said as his hand went to take the glass of wine that was placed on the table next to him, he drank it all In one go.

"I know about that, I do have something to give but I don't know if it'll please you enough Lucas, how about half of my land if we win this war" Magnus proposed but Lucas was quick to shook his head as if rejecting the proposal already.

" You can't give me that, as you can see I have so much lands and I don't need an addition to it, give me something else, something of more value"

Magnus racked his head for ideas but he couldn't think of any as all the things he could give Lucas, he already had them in ten folds so what was he going to give, his thoughts were cut by Lucas. "How many girls do you have?" He asked.

"T-Two" The king stammered, hoping that the king wouldn't ask for any of them, he just lost Xander and giving another kid out was something that he didn't want.

"Tell me about them" Lucas ordered.

"There is Camille, she is a young beautiful girl with brown hair and dark eyes, she is quite disobedient but loving in nature, she is very intelligent but she could be cruel at times when she doesn't get what she wants" The king started as he gazed at Lucas, he could see the look of being uninterested so he paused there.

"Nah... As much as it suits my personality I don't want" Lucas was quick to refuse as he waited for the king to continue with talking about the other girl, "And my first child is Luna, eyes as grey as the moon and hair silver in color, she is very intelligent, loving, caring and everything a sweet child is but she could be naive at times"

Lucas had the corner of his lips raised in excitement, as soon as he heard the name Luna he knew that there would be more to the girl, as much as he loved rebellious women in nature, it's time to go for a naive, cute and sweet little one 'isn't it?' He asked himself.
