Gahrkal and the group observed the citadel burn until the fire of it began to extinguish and the first rays of the sun began to emerge on the horizon.

[As far as I know the church was facing a sorcerer practicing the "Necromancy" this sorcerer had attacked a village on the outskirts of the citadel and when the church decided to send its soldiers to take care of the sorcerer they only found that these villagers They were dead and turned into zombies and when they finished killing the zombies the soldiers piled up their bodies as if they were garbage and set them on fire thinking that this would serve to finish them but I think that was insufficient to kill them completely and I guess at the end of the day the necromancer saying finally made its final move.] (Gahrkal briefly explained)

[Necromancy? What is that?] (Arwen asked)

Gahrkal observed Arwen and remained silent for a few minutes until he decided to answer.

[Necromancy is a practice of magic involving communication with the deceased either by summoning their spirit as an apparition or raising them bodily for the purpose of divination, imparting the means to foretell future events or to discover hidden knowledge, to bring someone back from the dead, or to use the deceased as a weapon.] (Gahrkal explained the general uses of necromancy but again this information was from the internet.)

[How do you know these things? You are a practitioner of that magic Mr.Gahrkal?] (Meryl asked curiously)

Gahrkal denied the question with his head.

[I do not think I'm able to do such a thing besides that I do not use that kind of magic and I'm not able to use a lot of magic to start with. I'm more than going with physical attacks.] (Gahrkal replied)

[better we cross the citadel, and we go towards the enemy camp I'm afraid the sun is starting to come out and the longer we take it the more the beast people who asked for help will suffer.] (Serima spoke interrupting everyone.)

Serima possessed a well-trained body and was adept at using axes and possessed red hair as if it were fire and her eyes were the same color which made her look like the heroine of a manga.

[Serima is right, if we go around the citadel and cross the forest, it may take an extra day, besides that we would suffer from exhaustion...but the city can surely be inhabited by those who destroyed it, so I advise everyone to be attentive.] (Arwen)

[check your equipment and also check that you do not need anything at all, the citadel is inhabited by zombies and I'm afraid I do not know how to kill them completely but I advise attacks on the head that would usually knock them out if you have fire spells too they will serve and spell of light will serve too also Lharia and Hiara assassinate the enemies at a distance and avoid that they approach the group we do not want to lose anybody, so I advise that we all remain as a group only, and do not separate for any reason.] (Gahrkal said to everyone on the group.)

[You all heard do not separate from the group no matter what happens we remain together...pray that the mother of everything will protect us.] (Arwen)

The group returned to the road while they checked their equipment to avoid problems and also to prevent any tragedy from happening.

When arriving at the wall of the citadel it was destroyed by several sections and the main door was totally destroyed the streets were full of cadavers of both humans and zombies which made the place more like a battlefield than a city street.

After a while of walking around the city, no matter how much Gahrkal and the group searched, they could not find a single person or even a zombie standing, so it seemed that the attackers had left the city shortly after having destroyed it.

Arwen proved very calm despite the large number of bodies on the streets.

[The care of the north has at least a population of 6,000 people...and the streets are flooded with human bodies and undead but it is impossible for all this to happen in less than a day and without any of the other 3 kingdoms found out...something is out of place here.] (Arwen)

[What could be that out of place? A spy that interrupted the communication between the kingdoms?] (Gahrkal)

[That would be impossible since the king has a communication spell with his former companions the other 3 kings they were previously a group of heroes who fought against "the glorious dragon" and after managing to defeat him these 4 heroes separated and founded their kingdoms taking diplomatically each kingdom until becoming the 4 most powerful kings that existed... Ymir the elven heroine is our queen now.] (Meryl)

[The nobles of this kingdom are known to be greedy, even the other kingdoms found out that they demanded more resources from the farms in their territory, so I would not be afraid to believe that the nobles of the northern kingdom betrayed their king.] (Serima said observing the streets)

[the nobles always causing trouble to everyone a kingdom would be a peaceful place if there were no noblemen who wanted to take over everything!] (elf woman)

[she is Niniel and is our archer and also healer her magic is of a high level and her physical abilities also only ignore her rebellious attitude.] (Arwen)

Arwen introduced Niniel as the expert in archery and also healer of the group her appearance was that of a teenager in her 16 years of age Niniel had white hair and brown eyes.

[Better concentrate and find out what happened here... I feel that not everything will be peaceful I feel a presence inside what seems to be the king's castle.] (Gahrkal said pointing to the huge structure that seemed to be the king's castle.)

The group began to climb the stairs and could see that there were cadavers wherever they turned their heads and when entering the castle they could see more bodies of soldiers with full armor as well as some priests.

[It seems that they tried to use the castle as the last barrier of defense and that this can not stand ... the windows are broken besides the ground has holes, so I guess also the buried members of the old royal family got up and attacked inside the castle killing everyone.] (Meryl explained observing around her.)

[the presence is ahead of us in what appears to be the king's chamber ... is there a possibility that the king is alive?] (Gahrkal asked Arwen)

[If you say that there is a presence in front of us it could be 50/50 they could be the necromancer or the king...anyway, if someone managed to survive all this is definitely someone very strong, so I advise caution.] (Arwen said observing the group.)

The group approached the big door and Gahrkal put both hands on the door pushing and opening it and when opening it hundreds of bodies emerged from the other side and on the other side of the room, everyone could see the king sitting on the throne with hundreds of corpses near him, and he spoke.

[Finally you appear...damn necromancer.] (King of the North)

Gahrkal was confused and surprised to see that the king was in front of him surrounded by bodies and that he had confused him with the necromancer responsible for this.

[It seems that this guy will undoubtedly give problems.] (Gahrkal said in a low voice)
