Training [3]

So we sat infront of eachother, staring into our eyes, I had grown up from the bald little baby to a decently looking kid, I had beautiful purple blue eyes that looked like fire aswell as medium long black hair. I still didn't get why this beautiful elf girl sweated so much. I spoke "Hello... my name is Jin. I am the kid you are supposed to teach." She looked up terrified. Though she had beautiful green eyes, just like my mother. She answered "Oh, uh, hello Jin... my name is Eldrin. It's nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you too, Eldrin." I told her. After that the mood lightened a bit. It wasn't as akward and she stopped sweating. "Do you know anything about magic already, Jin?" she asked me. After pondering a bit I responded to her, "Well, not much, though I was able to conjure a Shadow spell.". Her face went blank, "Shadow... spell you said?" she asked. I nodded, she opened her eyes wide and gulped. "Okay... well, I'm sure you know that most mages get born with affinities to one magic but are able to learn more magics, though most mages focus on mastering the one they're born with.". I nodded yet again, she stood up and took me outside. "Do you mind showing me the spell you used?" "Okay." I answered and held my arm infront of me. I muttered the words "Abyssal Vortex." Though this time it didn't sound so powerless, the vortex appeared again but luckly we were on an empty field so only that got slightly destroyed. When I looked over to Eldrin, she looked completely flabbergasted, she was shaking. "How was it?" I asked her, she just looked over to me in pure terror. She gulped and answered me, "Are you... sure... you aren't some... god reincarnation? Because no 6 year old should be able to use such a... high ranking spell, no even a real spell..." I just shrugged my shoulders. "Very... well... I'll teach you the basics of mana manipulation... but I fear I won't be able to teach you that much. I'll tell you some basic Shadow magic spells but that's about all I can do." I looked at the ground and said "Thank you... I didn't think I was that good." That was obviously a lie, but I can't just let her know I basically made this world and some parts of the story and that I could alter it even now. "I think we should stop for today. We'll go to the library in the city tomorrow. You can pick out some books there for Shadow magic.", Eldrin said. I smiled at her "Really? That's great. I'm tired anyway.", I told her. After that I went up into my room and sat on the bed for a while and walked around thinking about how the story should progress. After that, I decided I'd just stop altering it for a while and let it have a free progression. Then I laid down on my bed and went to sleep.

Eldrin when she went to bed:

"That... kid he... Shadow magic? But how? This kid doesn't make sense, this magical pressure, a Saint Class magic spell.1" I thought, I laid down in the bed. "At 6 years old already a Saint Class Shadow mage... maybe he will surpass even the legendary hero... no he will... how can he be so strong... I don't get it." I pondered. I held my hands in my face. "It all doesnt make any sense! How am I even supposed to teach someone that strong? If it's true that he doesnt know anything about magic but can somehow conjure advanced shadow magic... how strong will he be if he knows how to control mana the right way?" I said out loud. After that I went to sleep.

100 views is truly amazing, thanks for supporting. I was bored so I continued writing. Also, like I said in the first chapter, it's my first time writing anything longer than a few pages, it's really fun but again, english isn't my first language so there might be some spelling or gramatical issues. See you soon for the 4th chapter!
