"W-what?" Nessa felt as if someone just brought down a hammer on her head. There was one thing she hated the most and that was making false accusations against an innocent.
"If this is some sort of prank, then you better stop because I swear to God if you -"
"Why would I play such a prank on you when you're bound to confirm that with Aimee. So why would I waste my time telling you that? What do I intend to get from it," Naomi hinted that she should work with her brain.
At once, Nessa's hands felt clammy and heavy, the flute slipping from her hand and smashed to pieces attracting quite an attention.
But then people thought it was an accident and went back to their schmoozing while the staff arrived to clear the mess.
