She Unblocked Him
Damon had not expected to see his mother when he got home. He thought she would be at work as usual - unless something happened.
Speaking of which, Damon couldn't tell why he was returning home these days. Ever since his mother turned up drunk that night, he has been making sure to check up on her - that was his excuse - and of course, today was the deadline he gave his father.
Although he knew his threat was useless, Damon still hoped he took it seriously. He hoped he came home - he missed him.
"You're home and serving food?" Damon stumbled upon his mother on her way to the dining.
"Yeah," She smiled at him, "Your father is home,"
Damon froze, "H-he's back?" he was stunned.
For a moment... Just for a moment, Damon was genuinely happy, however, the anger crept in. He comes and goes the way he pleases? How could he return as nothing happened?
"Well, good for him," venom dripped from his sentence.
