Damon almost died from a heart attack. He had thought that Nessa was racing him to the end of the pool and didn't look back with the hope of winning the race, if only he knew.
Truth be told, he was the one who had his parents install the Olympic-sized pool at their place when he still held a grudge against them. The idea was ridiculous and that was why he did it. But now, he regretted It.
It had taken him a while to realize that Nessa wasn't following after him and when he did find out, he looked back only to see a floating figure on the surface of the pool.
Oh no, his heart skipped a beat and he swarmed back to her side with a speed he never thought he was capable of pulling off until now.
"Nessa!" He called out to the girl who didn't seem to be responsive anymore.
"Oh no," A dread grew in Damon's heart as he pulled her out from the pool and on the poolside.
