I Believe You
Carlos had never felt much anger like this before; a wave of white-hot simmering anger that blinded him. Before Carlos knew it, he strode over to the men and yanked Aimee off their laps with a great momentum that startled her awake.
Aimee was having a happy dream. It was that kind of dream where you have no idea what you're dreaming about yet you have a pleasant feeling knowing it's a sweet dream. But that was until an earthquake happened and her haven was shattered.
She found herself on her feet even before her eyes were opened and she almost fell but strong arms supported her - arms that held her waist in a vice.
"What the hell?"
"Who the hell are you?"
The couple stood on their feet, ready to defend her. As much as they had no idea who she was, the girl was under her protection.
