Orion phased in and out of being conscious; the grogginess of sleep slowly pulled away by something warm and soft pressed against him. His senses tingled, tugging him back into consciousness, but a part of him didn't want to give in, clinging to the comfort of the darkness. He didn't want to open his eyes, afraid the warmth would disappear the moment he did.

But the sensation lingered on, keeping him real. His eyes fluttered open and he blinked once, twice, his vision gradually getting used to the poor light that filtered through space. As the haze cleared, his breath caught in his throat.

He had Eula beside him, her back nestled against his side, her long hair cascading over her bare shoulders, pooling on the pillow. The thin sheet barely reached the lower half of her body, exposing the smooth, toned expanse of her legs. She breathed steadily, peacefully, completely oblivious to the storm she was awakening within him.

'What is she doing here? How did this happen?' His mind raced, but no answers came. All he knew was that she was here, with him, like this. This can't be real. But the warmth of her skin against his, the way her body fit so perfectly against him, told him otherwise.

His bright yellow eyes glowed faintly in the early morning light, scanning her form with a mix of awe and uncertainty. She was breathtaking, every inch of her a work of art, and here she was, lying beside him as if it were the most natural thing in the world. 'I should move…' The thought was there, but his body refused to budge. The urge to reach out, to touch her, to feel the softness of her skin beneath his fingers, was overwhelming. 'No, I cannot do that.' The conflict raged within him, his honor battling fiercely against the desire that pulsed through his veins. 'But she is right here...'The thought was traitorous, seductive, telling him it would be all right, just this once. He could just…

Orion's hand hovered above her waist, shaking with restraint. 'Get a grip, Orion. You can't' His inner voice was cut off by the soft rise and fall of her chest, the way her body seemed to move in sync with his. The sheet had slipped even lower, exposing the gentle curve of her back, and he swallowed hard, his throat dry. 'I should wake her… Tell her… But what would I even say?'

His pulse drummed in his temples, each beat a painful reminder of how he was close to losing all control. 'Why is she here? What happened last night?' But no matter how hard he tried to focus, his thoughts kept circling back to her, her warmth, her scent, the way her presence filled every corner of his awareness.

The line that separated what was right from what his instincts screamed at him to do blurred and paralyzed him. 'She's so beautiful…' The thought was simple, pure, but with a weight that made his chest tighten. 'No, I can't let this happen. Not like this…'

His breath caught as she shifted, her body pressing even closer against his. He could feel every curve, every subtle movement, and it was driving him mad. 'Gods, what am I supposed to do?' The question echoed in his mind but yielded no answer. All he knew was to lie there, bound between the desire and restraint.

Then, she sighed softly, a quiet sound that left him shivering. Her body shifted once more, her hand finding his this time. He stiffened as she drew his hand closer, her fingers wrapping around his.

"Orion..." she mumbled in her sleep, the voice low and breathy, which made his heartbeat halt for a second. She stirred again, her body pressing against his in such a way that made him stiffen all over. His hand was caught between her breasts, the feel of her soft skin against his palm almost unbearable.

'What the..' His mind went blank for a moment as this sensation overwhelmed him. 'She said my name…' The thought struck him like a bolt from out of the blue, lancing a current of emotion through him he couldn't quite name. It was all mixed up in a jumble-desire and confusion and guilt and something deeper he wouldn't dare name.

Eula's grasp tightened slightly, and she made that soft sound again, somewhere between a sigh and a moan.

The sound of it, the way she said his name so unconsciously, seemed to make his head spin. What 'does this mean? Is she. dreaming about me?' The thought was as thrilling as it was terrifying. What if she wakes up like this? He could hardly breathe, the weight of the situation upon him, trapping him in this impossibly delicate moment. He wanted to pull away, give her space, do the right thing. But her body was like a magnet, pulling him in, making it impossible to move. And her voice… that soft, sleepy murmur of his name… it was enough to question everything. I need to get out of here… But his body refused to listen. The feel of her skin, the way she clung to him was too much. 'I honestly don't know what to do, but… what if she's embarrassed? What if she didn't mean to…' His mind was a mangled mess, but one thing was for sure: he was in over his head.

She shifted again, her body instinctively seeking his warmth, and he felt her breath against his neck. "Orion…" she whispered again so softly that it was almost lost in the quiet of the room. And her grip tightened once more, her chest pressing against his hand in a way that made his resolve crack even further.

'I won't be able to hold on like this Eula!' The thought was little more than a whisper in his mind, drowned out by the heat surging through him. 'But… gods, I want to.' He clenched his jaw, forcing himself to remain still, not to give in to the temptation which threatened to overwhelm him.

But in gently attempt to withdraw his hand, Eula stirred and clutched at him. His breath had caught, for she was drawing him still closer, her body, pressed against his, exerting with a quiet persistence an insistence which sent a shiver through him. He was about to whisper her name when her eyes opened, clear, glacial blue, so immediate, so piercing, his heart throbbed into his throat.

"Stay," she whispered with a soft, commanding voice that seemed to leave no room for doubt.

Orion's mind just reeled as a thousand thoughts crashed into each other at once. "Shit-you're awake?" he stammered loudly, the surprise clearly etched in his tone.

Eula did not say anything then. She simply looked at him, her cheeks flowering a delicate pink as her eyes searched his face. Something in the way she stared at him-open and vulnerable-made his breath catch in his throat. She was one of those rare beauties whom words could never quite capture, and the quiet intensity of her expression struck something deep inside him.

She didn't need to say anything. The look in her eyes, the way she was holding him, spoke volumes. Orion could feel the tension between them growing, thickening the air, making it hard to think, hard to breathe.

"Eula…" he began, but the words died on his lips as she leaned in closer, her warm breath caressing his neck. His name had never sounded like this before, thick with something he couldn't quite put a name to, but that quickened the pace of his pulse just the same. the control he had been struggling so hard to hold onto crumbled instantly.

He couldn't hold it anymore: the heat, the desire, emotional feelings that had been smouldering underneath threw out, and without even noticing, he was closing the space between the two; his lips captured hers in a kiss filled with all the intensity he was holding inside.

Eula responded immediately, her hands sliding up his chest, her fingers tracing the lines of his muscles as she pressed herself against him. The kiss was deep, passionate, a release of everything they had both been holding back. Orion's hands found her waist, pulling her closer as he lost himself in the sensation of her soft lips, the taste of her, the feel of her body against his.

He could feel her heart pounding in time with his, the rhythm of it thrumming through him like a wild beat. Her lips were warm and inviting, and as he kissed her, the world outside of their embrace faded away, leaving only the two of them, lost in each other.

The last vestiges of restraint slipped away as he deepened the kiss, his hands exploring the curves of her body, feeling the smoothness of her skin beneath his fingers. Eula's breath hitched as he pulled her even closer, his fingers tangling in her hair as he tilted her head back, taking control in a way that left no room for doubt.

"Mmm. Orion," she purred softly against his lips, the need lacing her voice sending a shiver through him.

Hearing one's name said in such a manner, so fully packed with longing, brought out the primal desire in Orion. The spark now grew into a blaze that refused to be contained, as they lost themselves in each other the world outside melting into nothingness.

The world faded as the intensity between them grew tight. The heat and passion, all that raw connection threatened to burn away everything in its wake. When it seemed that would burst over into more, the door creaked open into the room.

Before Orion could do anything but react, Eula dove under the bedsheet with the reflexes of a seasoned knight. His heart pounded in his chest, not from desire this time, but in pure panic, as Diluc stepped into the room.

Diluc's sharp eyes swept the room; his face didn't show much emotion, but Orion knew he had already spotted the lump under the sheet; besides, he uttered nothing, only raised an eyebrow and turned to Orion.

"I see you're awake now, Orion. How are you feeling?" Diluc asked, his tone just as composed as ever.

Orion felt Eula's gaze on him from under the sheet, trying to keep a straight face. "Good, I mean GREAT! Full of energy," he uttered in one breath, trying to sound casual and failing.

Under the sheet, Eula's voice came out as a sharp whisper, low and barely heard but full of exasperation. "Idiot! Say you're tired so he can leave!

Orion's eyes darted to the suspicious lump under the sheet, then back to Diluc, who looked at him with a bemused expression. "Oh! I mean, uh, I kinda need more rest, but… "

A sudden sharp pinch at his leg sent him into a wince and cut off the sentence. Hastily, he corrected himself. "Yeah! I mean, I can't get out of bed for now, definitely need more rest.

The smirk on Diluc's face was slight, but unmistakable. He wasn't buying it, not even for a second. "Very well," he said with amusement tingeing his words. "Just come and join us later when you are ready."

With that, Diluc turned and left the room, shutting the door behind him with a quiet click. It was only when the door was closed that Orion exhaled a breath he hadn't known he held.

Eula sighed in frustration, still burrowed in the sheet, though her voice came out muffled but distinctively irritated. "You're hopeless, you know that?"

Orion opened his mouth to retort, but before he could utter a word, Eula threw the sheet aside, climbed onto his lap, and straddled him. Her hands wrapped around his neck, her face so close to his that their noses nearly touched. She stared into his eyes, an accusation of blue with a tint of frustration and affection.

"Hey, I tried my best," Orion said, a sheepish grin pulling his lips. "You're the one who jumped under the sheet like that."

Eula's face softened, a mild blush coloring her cheeks as she smiled. "You're really dense," she whispered, her eyes not leaving his.

Orion could not help but smile back, feeling the warmth of her body against his. "Maybe we should go and join them," he suggested, though there was a hint of reluctance in his voice. "It would be awkward if he comes back and finds us like this, and I think he is doing it on purpose."

Eula's smile grew, and she nodded. "Let's us go then," she said softly, her voice filled with a blend of playfulness.
