Chapter 12: Noelle

It was late at night, but the streets of Mondstadt were still bustling.

"Miss Noelle, hello. I have something I'd like to ask for your help with."

"Huh? Do you know me?"

Holding the black kitten, Noelle was puzzled at first, then her face clearly flushed red with embarrassment when she heard Nolan's following words. She waved her hands repeatedly:

"Please, no need to be so formal with the request, as long as someone needs help, it's my duty to assist."

"Ah!" Before Nolan could reply, Noelle suddenly cried out in surprise.

The cat she had finally found and caught jumped down from her loosened hands. Just as it was thinking of running away again, Nolan reacted swiftly and grabbed it.

"Meow meow meow!"

The black cat flung its limbs wildly in mid-air.

"Phew, luckily it didn't get away." Noelle's expression relaxed as she patted her chest.

Margaret, the owner of the Cat's Tail tavern, hearing the cat's cries hurried out. She took the black cat from Nolan's hand, rubbed her face affectionately against the cat, and said:

"That's great, my little prince you finally came back. Do you know how worried I was when you ran so far away?"

Noelle really is such a warm person!
