Bad Memories

In an instant all pieces of the puzzle that made up Noctis fit in place. The Sovereigns, according to the Fatui were the pinnacle of power in Teyvat, much stronger than the current Archons.

It's was obvious now why he wanted to go against Celestia. In the past The Primordial One and The Four Shades waged war against the Seven Sovereigns and eventually stole Teyvat from them. Later on, giving a fragment of their power out to the Archons of their respective element. For example the Raiden Shogun had the Electro Gnosis, a fragment of Noctis' original power.

I'm a bit confused because Noctis mentioned his family being eradicated by Phanes,

Yet he still lives?

"Noctis I'm sorry if this is a touchy subject, but may I ask. How did you survive?" his face seemed to darken as he recalled that time.

"I didn't..." This information didn't help at all in fact it just gave me more questions to ask. "Can you explain it in detail?"

"I suppose so.." his face seemed to fade into melancholy as he begun to draw from his memories.

3rd Person

Resting on the monumental summit of a great mountain in Liyue were Seven Soverigns. The Sovereigns were surrounded by perpetual forest with towering trees. In the clearing that they rested was a tremendous lake.

The Sovereigns had appointed this their meeting point because It was the highest point in the world. This meant little to no beings could make it to the top of this mountain, but also because of its serene environment.

The Sovereigns loved to bask in each others company and had for thousands of years without interruption. However this 'family reunion' was interrupted by a large and sudden crack in the sky.

The crack was dark sanguine and spanned as far as the dragons could see and had many micro cracks branching off in different direction, like a crack in glass.

This caught the dragons attention as they all began to closely observe the tear, in case of any danger. As far as they were concerned, they should be the strongest in the world. But, its still good to be cautious and they knew it.

The crack began to splinter and it was as if space began to bend and warp before the dragons eyes as four humanoid beings emerged for the bends and cracks in space.

Once more the crack the crack expanded, however this time only one being emerged. While still being mostly humanoid something was different, this being which had two angelic wings was exuding a horrifyingly demonic aura.

An aura strong enough to crush coal into diamond. The dragons still a long ways away could feel the immense pressure this being emanated. Whoever they were, it was obvious, that one was by far the most powerful.

The dragons were cautious as they exchanged glances with each other. If anything were to happen, they were ready to fight back. The five begins observed the land and then focused on the mountain summit, seemingly locking onto the presence of the seven dragons.

One of four 'guards' held out their hand forming a small circle of light. The next seconds beams of energy were sent raining down towards the dragons. The dragons which were all in humanoid forms flew into the air away the summit of the mountain.

Noctis

I quickly looked back towards where we were all standing and starred in disbelief as the area we had spent so long enjoying was destroyed explosions of energy reigning from the far away figures.

The other dragons and I all shared a glance and nodded to each others. Four dragons, Cryo, Dendro, Anemo and Hydro all target one of the 'guards' each, bringing them away from the demonic-angel.

Using the opening Geo, Pyro and I all targeted the demonic-angel. Pyro started of the battle violently with bursts of flame. Aiming right for the angel. However, the angel didn't react at all and simply swatted the flames away with their hand as if they were more of an inconvenience than an attack.

Geo used their element to create a weapon for both Pyro and I. To me they threw a sword with a slight curve. It was simple but in their defence, design isn't really important right now. Pyro was thrown a simple pole arm.

Geo's weapons were always extraordinarily durable, So I placed my full trust and dashed towards the angel. In the corner of my vision I could see pyro had done the same.

I moved my blade with Pyro's in a fluent dance of death each slice of our weapons capable of inflicting major damage to our opponent, we moved in sync sending slash after slash.

But to no avail. The angel would either dodge or reflect our attack and with little to no effort at all. As we continued trading blows Geo began to launch assaults of spears and arrows of earth. Each spear and arrow was perfectly synced with our sword fighting narrowly avoiding us and heading to the angel instead.

The angel seemed to sense that things were getting more difficult however, as he became more serious, dodging blows and now sending his own.

His attacks weren't overly complicated just simple jabs and punches. But what was mostly horrifying was their speed. They were able to near effortlessly dodge spear, sword and projectile assaults while sending their own blows.

Realising we weren't taking this seriously enough I activated my element, instantly feeling more activate as I felt the Electro course through my veins.

This elemental ability allowed me to use electro to increase my physical speed and reaction speed.

I also noticed that Pyro had coated their sword in a thick veil of blue fire. This This they too had acknowledged the strength of our opponent. Their blue flames were extremely powerful and high temperature. The heat around their sword caused distortions in the area.

Geo had cast their shield around the both of us. None of us dragons had been able to break Geo's shield so of course, we were filled with confidence and rushed into to continue our onslaught of attacks.

However the angel was unphased and effortlessly blocked, as if it too had gotten faster. Our attacks did nothing as each one was either dodged or deflected away. The angel seemed bored and swatted its hand creating and immense push.

Geo, Pyro and I all resisted the force. However even through Geo's shield it had felt as if a mountain had been thrown on me. Straining slightly, I looked towards the angel, their eyes widened slightly as if they were only a little impressed but then just a quickly their face returned to being impassive and uncaring.

Seeing this as a moment their guard could be down I charged electro into my legs and dashed as fast as I could towards them aiming my sword for the neck.

Ting

I was sent flying backwards before I could even processes what had happened. It seemed in the instant my sword came close to hitting them they had moved their handed and smacked it away.

But how!

How could they react so quickly!

It wasn't possible I refused to believe it.

Just then I had sent as much electro energy into my legs as I could, without damaging myself. Sure it was only in a short burst. But in that moment I would've accelerated to just below the speed of sound and this demon just deflected the blow. They didn't even seem to recoil from the force at all.

From behind me I heard the sounds of fire and earth, looking back I saw Geo and Pyro combining use of their elements to create a thick and dangerous magma. The launched the spheres of magma towards the angel at full force. The air sizzled as the flew through it.

But before the attack could even come within 10 metres of the angel he snapped his fingers and it stopped dead in its tracks, crumbling to the floor like dust.

Then they were gone, no where to be seen, frantically I looked around me preparing for an attack from any angle. The sound of piercing flesh resounded in my ears and I snapped my gaze back towards Geo and Pyro.

Pyro's Shield was shattered and a blood-stained hand was visible from his torso. Geo's head was missing and dark crimson erupted from the base of his neck. Staining the demon and revealing his true nature. The stench of blood and death filled the thin air.

The colour drained from my face as I watched both of their bodies fall into the lake of the mountain summit below. I looked around me and watched as the other Sovereigns all died individually.

Hydro sliced in half, diagonally entrails leaking from either half and shattered ribs visible. Given a quick death at the hands of a skilled executioner.

Cryo bartered and beaten to a bloody pulp, body so bruised it seemed they had been beaten respectively from months on end, Also missing limbs such as an arm and leg. It was as if a predator had found prey and hunted it not for food but for sport, slowly ripping it apart and beating it to death. But making sure to keep it alive and let it slowly die to blood loss.

Anemo was split in two but the spine still connected the top and bottom half. Their head was attached but completely crushed beyond recognition.

Dendro was no where to be seen possible completely erased from the plane that was this world.

"W-What have you done..!" I screamed out in rage, trying to hold back the bile in my throat.

"We have done what was necessary to usurp this world." The demon said in a monotone, their expression was bland and held no empathy, regret or even joy. Their was no expression on this thing's face not a sliver or care whatsoever.

The demon motioned to his servants and they disappeared within a blink of an eye. I felt the Electro within me being to violently effervesce. The excess energy caused blood to poor out of every poor in my body.

I didn't care...

What would it matter now...

Everyone was dead anyway..

So, I may as well use my rage at its fullest.

Violet light exuding from my body and tempests of violet lightning begun to onslaught the land with the pure destructive force. The sword which I tightly gripped in my hand was veiled in tempest. With a flash of lightning and ear-shattering boom I was in front of the devil slicing my sword directly down in an attempt to make two perfect half's out of them.

I watched in slow-motion as the devil's expression filled with shock and for a second fear. In a struggled attempt they deflected the attack, but as they did I quickly redirected towards their torso, able to cut him.

A stream of crimson spurted from their side. Their face contorted in a new-found terror. Lightning flashes and thunder boomed once more, I was behind them this time aiming upwards slice to their shoulder. They were able to redirect the strike at the cost of their arm being split between their fingers and up their forearm.

In a continuous rage I struck over and over each time cutting deeper than the previous. In moments I had struck thousands of times and the devil began to take serious damage. I felt a sick smile carve its way onto my face as I felt their panic sky-rocket.

Before I could land the final strike their body began to emit a high density energy causing him to glow. The energy sent me flying back stopping me from ending their life. I tried to dash toward them and achieve the final blow but the energy building within him combusted and exploded.

In the processes killing me instantly and eradicating the mountain, while also carving a deep chasm into Liyue.

I hugged Noctis, holding him tight. To have experienced all that would've been hell. No worse than hell and yet he can still act normal, most of the time perfectly hiding this trauma.

I moved away from Noctis and held his face in my hands, dripping from his face were tears, tears of pure sorrow. "You're not alone anymore Noctis, I won't leave you ever." Noctis sniffed, whipped away his tears, and gave me a bright smile. "I appreciate and I'm sorry for getting all emotional on you."

Of course that night I made sure to hold him close and tight in the bed to make sure he didn't feel lonely one bit. At first he refused, but I assured him I was a professional.

After all I'm Teyvats best parent.

(A/N) and another chapter is done woohoo!

I hope everyone enjoyed I'm not sure really how to write fight scenes, so I hope it was alright. Though I guess this was more of a one-sided beat down.

Also to clear someone thing up the reason he called the other dragons by their element is because he can't remember their names. He lost them after he rebirthed. Or something.

Also once again sorry if their is obvious mistakes at some point ima go through it and fix em all.

Till next time.
