Chapter 1

In the depths of the Forest of Despair, a woman was looking around in surprise and interest, as she suddenly found herself dragged from her former place to this odd forest. She thought she was in the Amazon Forest on Earth, but she knew she wasn't instantly after looking around as she has been there before and this doesn't seem anything like the Amazon Forest.

"Hm, this is not the Amazon Forest, nor is it any of the other large forests that I know of. Looking around, the trees seem to be some sort of odd creature, yet they are simply trees. Intriguing. There are two possibilities here. The first being I am in some unknown forest on Earth that hasn't been discovered yet, or I am in an entirely different world. While it is odd, I am leaning more towards the second option since the entirety of Earth was seen, even the depths of the ocean, years ago." The woman mumbles to herself while looking around in interest.

She is Rafael Kuratsu, the Red Reaper of the **** Army on Earth that suddenly disappeared completely.

After looking around the area surrounding her once more, she turns to inspect herself to see if anything is wrong with her. After observing her body for a few minutes, she concludes nothing is wrong with it other than the fact that she doesn't have her hidden pistols and knives anymore, which somewhat concerned her as she has a feeling she will need them.

"Odd, where are my weapons? Did someone place me here and take my weapons on purpose so I wouldn't have it easy, or is it just an aftereffect of coming to wherever I am? Either way, I need to find some sort of weapon if I want to live long enough to find out, as I am quite sure this forest is full of dangers." Rafael mutters to herself in annoyance but that was all.

Rafael decided she should first attempt to find a location she would be able to camp at in safety or find a way out of the forest she is currently in. In her opinion, she would actually rather stay inside this forest to train herself, but the dangers outweigh that option currently.

Closing her eyes, Rafael an ability she developed in the army years ago, pushing all her senses into the surroundings and searching for a safe area or a path. After a few minutes, she opens her eyes and walks to her left, as she saw a dirt path a few hundred meters from her location.

15 minutes later she finally got to the dirt path she found earlier, and it seems to be used frequently, as there are footsteps belonging to humans and wheel marks that seem to belong to some sort of carriage or the likes.

"The chance of me being sent to another world has at this point increased to 90% considering the marks here that seem to belong to a carriage... At least I know there is human activity around here which means there is probably a village or city somewhere at the end of the path, the question is which way to go..." Rafael says to herself as she looks closely at the footprints on the ground, and finally found the way to go, which is the way the footprints were not going.

She has no clue how long she walked, but it seems to have been at least 4 hours at this point and Rafael is getting a bit annoyed, wondering if she chose the wrong direction. Sighing to herself, she was about to sit against a tree to recover some stamina when she heard a lot of screaming and what seems like steel clashing against steel further ahead, piquing her curiosity.

Standing up Rafael heads in the direction she heard the screams and fighting and come across what seems to be knights or mercenaries fighting against some of the most ugly creatures she has ever seen before in her life.

Small and green beings along with large and green beings, commonly referred to as Goblins and Orcs back on Earth. Seeing this, Rafael concludes she is indeed in another world and is a bit excited because this would mean there would be some interesting things to fight here.

Rafael became known as the Red Reaper merely because she was a battle junky and would love to reap the lives of people during wars and outside of wars back on Earth, and due to the fact her hair was red.

"Ren, take Guran and Zing and head back to the city! Those two need to at least stay alive and you are the second strongest after me!" One of the knights at the forefront of the fight yelled at someone near him, snapping Rafael out of her thoughts as she looked up.

The one who shouted had a large scar going across his left eye, blinding him. The one who was shouted at, Ren, seems to be a young man that just entered his twenties, and he nodded to the one who yelled at him, heading towards the back of the group and leading two children around the age of 10-12 towards the opposite direction of the fighting.

The two children, Guran and Zing, seem to be twins of different genders by the looks of it, and they also seem to be important as the knights are willing to give their lives up for them to get back to the city.

Ren was leading Guran and Zing through the forest on the path when he suddenly stopped in place. The reason he stopped was because there was a woman with long red hair and odd clothing in front of him, and due to his own strength, he can tell that she is very strong which made him wary.

"Miss, could you please get out of the way and allow us to pass?" Ren asked after some hesitation, making Rafael look at him.

"Say, if I defeat those monsters back there and save the knights or whatever you guys are, will you guide me to a city? I have no idea where I am." Rafael said, causing Ren to look on in confusion and then a bit of excitement.

"Yes, yes! If you can save them then we will guide you to a city! Just please save them!" Ren exclaimed in haste, making Rafael look at him in interest.

She thought he was a bit of a coward when he ran without hesitation, but it seems he was just great at following orders and knew of the situation, making him leave as quickly as he could so he wouldn't see his companions slain before him.

"Alright then. Lend me your sword." Rafael said while reaching her hand towards Ren, who hesitated slightly but in the end handed her his sword.

With his sword in hand, Rafael rushes towards the group of knights that are fighting the goblins and orcs ahead at such a speed that Ren and the twins couldn't even see her shadow clearly before she was gone.

Looking back, they could clearly see Rafael cutting the head of a few orcs and goblins off of their bodies, and cleanly cutting through the hearts of others. Barely a minute later, all of the monsters were dead and the knights only had two deaths and a few injuries.

Rafael looked at the dead monsters in disappointment, as she hoped they would put up more of a fight, but in the end they were just weaklings, making her wonder if the strength level of this world was low or not. While she was thinking, a voice snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Thank you for saving us, Miss. Without your support, all of us would of died here today." The one who seems to be the leader that shouted at Ren earlier thanked her while panting and being covered in injuries all over.

"No problem. The man over there said you guys would take me to a city if I helped you out" Rafael said towards the leader, making him look at Ren, both relieved and glad. It seems he has a close relation with Ren.

"I see, then we will do as he promised and lead you to the nearby city, as we will be going back now anyways. Right, may I know your name? Mine is Drake." The leader, now known as Drake, asked towards Rafael.

"My name is Rafael." Rafael said to Drake, who nodded his head and rounded his group up and they began heading in the direction Ren was running in earlier, while being followed by Rafael this time around.

I will probably write this more than the other story, but I don't know when I will write on the stories, as I don't have too much time to write.

I will try and put out 2 or 3 chapters on each novel per week though, if I can.
