First encounter with Sacred Grounds

'Brat why did you tell them to shorten your name?'

'While some will see it as lowering myself if they are smart they will use it to approach me to get help.'

'Why do you care for this mortal empire?'

'No real reason I just need a base of operations in the human side of the world.'

'I can't see the use of using this empire, It's the smallest and weakest.'

'Shut up and let me enjoy this.'

At this moment I was enjoying a massage in the royal palace and arguing with a billion year old dragon at the same time. While I can pay attention to both at the same time I would rather focus at the task at hand.

"You should hold that poison bottle somewhere other than in your hair."

The girl in her fright flinched back causing the bottle of poison to fall out of her hair. quickly grabbing both the girl and poison, gently setting the poison down and pinning down the girl I growl out.

"I know you couldn't acquire that yourself, you just have to tell me who did."

The young lady under me shivered and squeaked out.

"A member of Sun Moon Divine Hall gave me poison saying that if anyone above throne comes here to poison them."

The more the girl spoke the more she shivered.

'She's telling the truth brat.'

Without needing to be more forceful on the girl II got what they looked like through the next 15 minutes of questioning thanks to Canglong the Dragon truth machine.

'Hey I can hear you stupid brat!'

"You will leave the capital and wait for me within sight of the gates am I clear?"

the girl weakly nodded and I got off of her.

"I will see you at sun down. don't keep me waiting."

With a small shriek the poor girl ran out of the room.

'See Canglong there's fun to be had here as well.'

'I'm beginning to see your point brat.'

'Yeah I might even be able to use my Nodachi !'

'You don't even know how to use a sword yet brat!'

'I'll figure it out on the way.'

As I left the room I realized I hadn't spoken with or seen the Emperor or Empress since the first day. Deciding that I had spent enough time having fun here I sent a voice transmission to the Emperor thank Canglong for teaching me that.

With that I left for the gate of the capital, walking at a normal speed to allow the girl to get there and telling the flood dragons that have been in the forest since I entered the palace to protect her from the wild beasts. As I reached the gate saw the girl just leave the city deciding to be nice I wait until she is calmed before appearing in front of her.

"Change of plans were going now."

Without letting her talk I pick her up and toss her onto the female flood dragon and begin flying towards the Sun Moon Divine Hall."

"Tell me a little about yourself girl."

"M-my name is Song Shu I'm 20. I grew up near the thousand beast valley until my father died while hunting leaving my mother to move to the capital to work as a servant until she passed away 2 years ago."

"Hm, Since you have nowhere to go why not become my servant ?"

'Brat she tried to kill you, Is this a good idea?'

'This will make everything more interesting of she accepts.'

"I don't know but I will tell you when I know."

With a light bow she postpones the question, shrugging off the conversation. I call out.

"We need to be there soon so go as fast as you can!"

"Yes young master."

The now throne level flood dragons respond spooking the poor girl even more. They broke through when I tried to Introduce my divine energy into another being, An unexpected but welcome side effect. By the time the Sun rose we had made it to the Sun Moon Divine Hall, With a smile I floated off of the flood dragon and drew my Nodachi over my shoulder and unleashed my cultivation. It certainly alerted them as 10 elders rose up from the main building.

"Junior! How dare you be so disrespectful to our Sun Moon Divine Hall!"

"I don't care If I'm being disrespectful I've come to destroy the Sun Moon Divine Hall!"

"HAHAHAHAHA! Junior you must be insane to believe you can beat the heavenly envoys let alone the heavenly Monarch himself."

"We shall see about that!"

With a near maniac smile I swung my Nodachi utilizing water law to copy sword intent creating a sword beam in the shape of a crescent. surprised by my actions the elders didn't have time to react before they were all split in half showering the watching disciples in blood.

"HA! Dare to be disrespectful? Of course I dare!"

Suddenly six much more potent auras locked onto me and in front of me stood the Heavenly Envoys and Heavenly Monarch themselves. All had a red face as if they had been slapped.

"Junior you will not leave alive after causing trouble for our Sun Moon Divine Hall."

One of the Envoys growled out. It probably sounded terrifying to others but to me it just sounded like a kid acting tough. I lifted my Nodachi and pointed it at the Heavenly Monarch.

"You are the ones who disrespected me yet you claim disrespect against me. Good thing your Sun Moon Divine Hall shall no longer exist by the time the Moon shines tonight."

*AN: I saw some people confused about the god core. Jorm doesn't have a profound core It was replaced with a god core imprint he needed to build , he has built the base or the first layer but there will be more layers added later on in the story. the only reason Jorm has divine energy is because of the god core and no other beast can form one.
