Chapter 4: Development and Greyjoy War

In Domeric's office in Dreadfort, he and his aunt could be seen looking at a map, which had all the details of the Bolton Lands.

"So Domeric, where are you going to put this 'Industrial War Zone' of yours?" asked Barbrey as he looked intently at his nephew.

"I thought I'd do it right in the center of our territory, where not only Dreadfort is, but also our future city" Domeric said as he pointed to the center of his territory.

"I also thought about the future of creating some strongholds in certain strategic positions in each region of our territory" Domeric continued while pointing at certain regions.

Domeric wanted to create these strongholds when he was in good financial shape, as he didn't trust his neighbors.

Domeric is pretty sure that the old "bandit attacks" on villages were supported by neighboring Houses.

But the problem with the bandits is already being solved, all criminals in the Bolton Lands are being killed and turned into meat for the Uruks.

The Uruks always celebrated when there was one more bandit hunt, as it meant more meat.

But the Uruks weren't just doing that, they were also keeping villages safe and helping with agriculture.

Some Uruk Furnaces were also built to produce steel that Casa Bolton could use to create new equipment or sell.

Blacksmiths working near Dreadfort were paid to test the steel, and the results were great.

Domeric decided to call the steel produced Morgul Steel, the Furnaces built began to create a lot of Morgul Steel.

Barbrey nodded in approval at her nephew's idea, she knows the neighbors of both House Dustin and House Bolton are her enemies.

Barbrey would never accept the Bolton Lands being attacked, with these strongholds her nephew would be safer.

"Very well Domeric, now that aside, what are you going to do with so much Morgul Steel produced?" Barbrey asked raising an eyebrow.

"I was thinking of using it to create new equipment for farmers, etc. This will ensure that we have higher productivity" Domeric said as he took the glass of water that was on his table to drink.

"I'm also going to start selling to the other Houses, but it won't be the ones in the North" Domeric continued after drinking water.

"Are you going to sell to the Southern Houses?" Barbrey asked in surprise as she looked seriously at her nephew.

"Yes, but I will also sell Morgul Steel to Houses Dustin and Ryswell, those are the only Northern Houses that will be the exception" replied Domeric as he looked calmly at his aunt.

Domeric would never be an ungrateful person, Houses Ryswell and Dustin have been good friends with House Bolton, not to mention they're somehow connected by blood, so it's okay to help his allies.

Barbrey nodded in approval with a smile, she was glad that Domeric was also helping Houses Ryswell and Dustin.

*Time Skip*

Several months had passed since the conversation between Barbrey and Domeric.

Bolton Lands has been developing rapidly, with the equipment made of Morgul Steel and the 3 Crop Rotation System, the farming fields are producing a lot.

Domeric researched which vegetables, etc. could be grown in a cold environment like the North.

Domeric almost had his office destroyed when he learned that potatoes could be planted in the North, but no one in the 7 Kingdoms did because they considered it dangerous.

This was considered a part of the high idiocy of the people in Westeros, but he took advantage of it and ordered all the farmers and Uruks who worked on the plantations to plant potatoes and other vegetables.

The farmers were skeptical at first, but after Domeric roasted some potatoes and ate them in front of them, the farmers saw that it wasn't harmful and started planting without complaint.

Morgul Steel also began to be sold to Houses Ryswell and Dustin, but compared to the prices that would be sold in the South, it was almost as if they were given away for free.

Concrete roads have also started to be built, but the process is slow, even with all the available labor.

Domeric also began to prepare his troops, he heard the news of the Ironborn starting their attacks.

He knows that Eddard Stark would start a summons to fight the Ironborn, this would be the opportunity to test the effectiveness of the troops, both human and non-human.

Domeric decided to take with him 500 Human Soldiers, who were equipped with Gondorian Armor, but all black, 300 Uruk-Hai, 150 Goblin Archers, 400 Goblin Warriors, 100 Half-Trolls, and 15 Cave Trolls fully armored and armed.

This was considered the ideal number of troops for this War, Domeric wanted to use this war not only to show some of his military might but also as an opportunity to show Morgul Steel's superiority to his future Noble clients.

The human soldiers who were among Domeric's troops received intensive training to be ready for the War against the Greyjoy.

Speaking of the Greyjoy, Domeric had plans involving the Iron Islands, and also plans for the Royal Family.

Domeric decided that he would try to form an alliance with House Lannister, for his plans to work, he would need their help.

Domeric thought about using his Charisma Magic to get a good impression of Tywin Lannister, then heading to King's Landing to use on the rest of the Royal Family.

Maybe, just maybe, he might as well in the future be betrothed to Princess Myrcella.

But he will focus on being friends with 4 people: Tywin Lannister, Cersei, Jaime, and Joffrey.

Yes, Domeric will try to be friends with Joffrey, which isn't difficult, with his Charisma Magic and his knowledge of torture, Domeric is sure Joffrey would kiss the ground he stepped on.

*In Domeric's Office*

Domeric was sitting at his desk, signing some papers while drinking water, until his aunt came in with a message in his hands.

"Domeric, Lord Stark is summoning the Vassals to War"

Barbrey said as he handed the message to his nephew to read.

The letter said that Eddard Stark was calling on all the Houses of the North to support Robert Baratheon in the war against the Ironborn, who were attacking various coastal cities.

When Domeric finished reading, he prepared for War, sending out the warning to all troops prepared for War.

Domeric also prepared his Warg which was fully armored, using the same armor that the Caragors de Guerra wore in Middle Earth: Shadow of War.

It took a few days to gather all the troops, but when they were all gathered, Domeric stood in front of the troops with his Warg.

The Uruks, Half-Trolls, Goblins, and Trolls were roaring as some stomped their feet when they saw their Sovereign.

Domeric smiled at this, he mounted Warg and shouted at his troops.

"Advance!" When Domeric finished his shout, he started to ride his Warg ahead as his troops marched behind him.

The ground shook with the march of the soldiers of House Bolton, the Standards were carried at the front of each troop, bearing the symbol of House Bolton.

This War was an opportunity for Domeric, one he will fully use.
