Layanna Stark POV:

It has been a week since me and my brother arrived at Dragon's Roar along with our escort.

This place is beyond anything that anyone can even imagine, clean wide roads, various shops and apartments for everyone and surrounded by weirwood trees. By the old gods if it weren't for the people and for everything else I would probably belive that this entire huge island is nothing but a private godswood.

Not even our godswood have these many weirwood and heartwood trees and we follow the old Gods for crying out loud.

Lady Lilith has been our escort throughout our stay over here and has been slowly introducing us to the way of life of the people over here.

Initially I was surprised by the amount of love and adoration that the common folk have for house Dragoneel and Belarion, what I mean to say is that yes the small folk should respect their lords and such but what they have is nothing short of feverent worship for their lords and it surprised us. I never thought I would see the day when the common folk have the sigil of their lord as a tattoo on their body!!

It was only later that I came to know about their story from Lilith that how most of them used to be slaves and how Dragoneel and Belarion had liberated them and granted them their freedom and their dignity back to them. The sigil of the house is actually the slave brand that was branded on them by their slave masters and which had been transformed into the house sigil so as to relive some of their mental trauma.

The more that I get to hear about them from Lilith and the common folk , the more I feel that how can people so noble actually exist? Their actions towards caring for their small folk is nothing short of the tales of the old noble lords and how they should behave that we had hear in fairy tales as we grew up as children.

The universal and mandatory education policy also piqued my interest, like making education mandatory and free for everyone was something which other lords in the kingdom would never even consider thinking about but over here it was normal.

ELIJAH POV:

Victora how is progress going with regards to transformation of the dragon eggs that we are going to send to the Targaryens?

It should be done by tomorrow morning,

They won't be ancient dragon class dragons that you guys have but rather mid tier to mid high tier dragons, though I am making sure that they don't have any inherent genetic defects because of low magic conditions that would be present in kings landing and also I am boosting their ability to recharge magic in the surrounding environment and their longevity so that they can help increasing life expectancy so that they can live without any problems in kings landing.
