Alaric's pov.

I lived in a happy family with a stern father and a loving mother, Two older sisters, and my other two brothers Alban and cousin Rolf.

Me and Alban when we're little, our sisters told us lots of stories and tales about Knights and their valor. But for some reason, mother and father do not seem too interested in knights. Mother is not from Westeros so that's understandable. And Mother ones told us that our fathers' house is not very interested in knights. But they make high disciplined soldiers and generals.

In Kingstanding, we watched lots of knights from tons of different Houses. But it was His Grace Kingsguards that's stand out the most. These knights are the greatest in seven kingdoms.

And though my favorite was ser Arthur Dayne, Albans liked to boast about sir barristan selmy.

Recently the kingsguard has defeated the notorious Kingswood brotherhood. And ser Arthur personally slew the smiling knight.

Tywin Lannister's son Jame Lannister has also gained knighthood and is known for being the youngest knight in history.

So I remember that I and my twin Ones asked my father that was he a knight? Father replied with a snort 'im no knight but I was a soldier from house Tarly and participate in nine penny war. we were a little disappointed at our grandfather's choice, but our father was his natural son so it's very common.

But we still dreamed about being a knight and our sisters want to marry one.

But when father died from his heart pain everything is just gone worse. Then some bastard come and asked the hand of our sisters for marriage.

We refused, of course, my mother is still mourning father's death. and those fuckers are looked old as our father.

But they did not leave it as it is. They started to harass the customers and also our neighbors joined in their cause.

My mother arranged some marriages for sisters but those are either as bad as these people or just cowards.

Cousin Rolf helped us a lot. but he also needs to leave for work.

And that day was the most worse day of all.

when those gold cloaks bastards broke into our house and dragged us out because we did not pay the King our tax. But we did paid the other group that came to us that day.

They're accusing us of treason and want to bring us to the king for our punishment if we don't comply with their wishes.

I was angry because of how this bastard touching my sister's, so I tried attacking him with the knife but someone just grabbed me from behind. All I could do straggling in his grips and watch. I was helpless and my twin is in the same condition as well.

But suddenly someone came from behind them and started to punch those gold cloaks.

And just a single pound from his hand none of them could get up for a second time.

we were shocked by our sudden savior. And we also saw a familiar figure. Then Rolf explained mother but we could not do anything but wonder about the knight.

The Way he said that. ' it's a knight's duty to protect the innocent '. And not all women? not sounded like the songs that our sisters told.

But the way he stands his demeanor and his armor and his facial features. We could do nothing, all we could do is gawk,

Then before we could say anything to the knight, Mother ordered us to clean up the Mass those bastards created.

After that lots of goldcloaks come with their reinforcement .we just watched.

Then how he managed the goldcloak captain with just a simple paper I don't know. But I did listen to how he threatens them with death if they try this again.

Then he ordered some hot water for the bath.

we hurried away for the task. After sometime later I thought for a moment that he had no squire with him so how would he remove that armor off of him? Mm maybe he'll call for us or me for helping him, I looked at my twin but the look he gave me said all I need to hear. Alban is thinking the same thing.

Then we hurried inside but mother stopped us a told us it's already has been done. We're so angry, we started to shout at her and I thought that the knight is just another bad man who is wearing armor. But after mother explains it properly we understand that it was our sisters' fault. Then we asked the ser

we asked him for tons of information and tales of his adventure and learned about the wonders in essos. And the fascinating story he can tell.

He became a kind of family member to us also took us as his pupil. But to us, he was like a reliable older brother.

And by the god's how can a man have mastered so many things is beyond our scope of thinking.

And he somehow changed our lives we can't possibly imagine.

and I know that my dream of becoming a knight is truly possible.

I was annoyed by my sister's and there are advances for ser Alan attention.

when he gifted us the equipment we thought he going to officially take us as his squire. but when he told us it is just name day gifts, the dream I had just shattered like broken ice.

but he was just making a jape and with mother's permission, we could become his official squire.

He renovated our home into a 'coin hoarding machine' that Alan likes to call It. And we grew wealthy in less than two months. I thought that he is doing everything so he could fuck my sister's. But even if he does that I don't mind and neither will Alban. as for my sisters, they would just think of it as their dream come true. But they also have their own problem because unlike us he can't take two of them as his wife And Seven forbids polygamy. So one of them would be left with a broken heart.

So when he announced that he will be traveling to The Reach also take us with him.

me and my brother we are very happy because we never travel outside the Crownlands.

but the same can't be said for my sisters.

for they can't go with us or the fact that ser Winter is leaving. and they just crying in their bed. So we just had to comfort them told them we will bring him back.

But they are saying that he will find another woman and he will stay there with her.

And there is no guarantee that he will return.

So we left them to mother's counsel.

and we also started our preparation for traveling.

I was truly excited. if we find some outlaws on the road and we could show them the training we had with ser Winters. and the same can be said for my twin.
