Ch 5 : The beautiful boss

The next day, Seth gets back to his normal person works. He arrived at the restaurant, and park his bike.

"Good morning boss, you are still beautiful as well today."

"Huh, glib tongue as always aren't you? But it's good that you are back to normal."

Seth's boss is a beautiful woman around her 25. She has black hair and a pretty oval face with glossy skin. In addition to her beauty, she possesses some unique charisma and temperament which made her a respected figure in the surrounding neighborhood.

From the rumor, Seth heard that she was from a pretty well-off family, and it was still a mystery why she was working in the restaurant. Seth's boss was pretty closed about her personal name and not even Seth know her real name, only calling her boss from the start of his work until now.

The two of them chatted a little before a few customers came in.

At 4 P.M. after the restaurant closed. Seth was packing up his belonging to go home.

Seth went to the boss to say goodbye, but the boss stopped him.

"Seth, you don't need to come back tomorrow."

The boss said to him while handing an envelope of Seth's wage for a month.

"Why boss? Am I making a mistake today? I promise I would not make the same mistake, please don't fire me."

Seth was really anxious. He knew that sooner or later he would leave the restaurant and make money as an awakened. But right now he wasn't strong enough or has enough connection to let go of his current job.

The boss seeing Seth's tense expression smiled and eased the surrounding atmosphere.

"No, you're excellent as always. It's just I have some family matters these days and I can't keep running the business for this month. Those are your payment for this month, and I hope to see you again next month."

Seth's anxiousness fades away after hearing the boss's reason, but then he noticed the problem.

"Boss, I can't take it. It was only at the beginning of the month, but you give me a whole month's salary."

The two of them argued a little about the payment before finally, Seth choose to accept it. He knew that whenever his boss decided something, no one could ever change it.

The boss was smiling happily after Seth choose to accept the payment. She pats Seth's shoulder and encourages him to work harder as a young man.

Seth could only smile wryly at his boss. Then again, he really needs the money, so just treat it as he owed the boss.

"By the way boss, do you know a quick way to make money?"

"Of course I know. Those body organs sold off quite well you know!"

Seth's smile stiffened and he quickly reproaches the boss.

"Boss I'm not joking"

"Well, of course-of course. But they really do worth a lot hahahahah."

The boss then ponders a little and said with a serious face.

"If you really wanted to make money, the fastest way should be selling monster part and core. In this era of awakening, those monster part has a really high demand, especially the higher leveled one."

"If you really wanted to sell those monster parts, you will need some license from the exceed union."

The boss's response was to be expected of Seth. In Acacia, the profession related to Exceed is the most profitable. But hearing the later part of the boss, Seth gave a somewhat depressed response. Gaining a license from Exceed union is not easy, especially for a Stranger with trash level ability like Seth.

"But don't worry, if you wanted to sell some monster part, just go to this place, and hand him this."

The boss handed Seth a piece of paper with a map-like mark on it.

She then drives away Seth from the restaurant before Seth could even say thank you.

"Well see you next month Seth."

The boss smiled and wave her hand before closing the door of the store.

Seth could only sigh at his boss's antiques and drive his bike home.
