My New Life

All I was doing was walking home from the movies. Why is it my problem that the guy behind the wheel was drunk. But now that I'm dying, it looks like it is my problem. Why? There was so much left in my life, like what was I going to have for breakfast tomorrow or what game should I play tonight. But I guess it doesn't matter anymore. Goodbye, cruel world.

Huh crap what is this? Oh my God, this is the classic die by vehicle and getting reborn in another world, isn't it. Alright, I hope there is magic, but wait, where are they taking me, and why is this place more sci-fi than fantasy. I mean, I think that's a coffee machine, but it's not a model iv ever seen, even in sci-fi movies. What is this room? Why does it look more like I'm a test subject rather than a newborn. Then I'm now in a very high-tech laboratory. What happened here was a lot of data gathering and checking and cross checking, and I am impressed by all the equipment from how they are talking they are trying to figure out if I'll die like tomorrow or something as from there words I'm one of the first ever halfbreed born and they wana make shur ill survive out of a laboratory but I'll say one thing for there enthusiasm."I want my mommy."

After they finally decide, I'm not gonna die the next second they take me back to my mother. However, I don't know this as I fell asleep through their examination. Hay, I was born like an hour ago. I'm tired. As I sleep, my mother seems to have some visitors a man and a little girl who looks about 3 years old. I'm startled awake by some talking? Well, I think it's talking. Oh, just so you know, the things the doctors said I didn't understand one word. I just went by what I thought their intention was now about the talking it sounds lyrical kinda like singing but not singing ya a little strange, but Hay, I can see a beautiful little girl with bleach blonde hair and long ears....wait long ears is she an elf wait I think there is something wrong with this script why are there elves in a sci-fi scenario umm should I panic? I'm not sure yet, oh, and the talking seems to be speeding up. I couldn't tell the words that well, but now I can't even tell if they are using sentences ya they really sped up. The little girl sings to me or talks I really can't tell but then the man comes up behind the girl oh he's got blonde hair too but the look he's giving me makes me think he wants to murder me Hay bud I'm a baby what did I do steal your wife oh wait I wonder if my mother is this man's wife.

With that, a typical elven woman comes into view again blonde hair blue eyes and she pushed the man out of the way and picked me up as she does she glares at the man and oh it's feeding time and wow double Ds at least I think oh come on I'm a baby everything is bigger. The man, though, just looks more pissed off really man what did I do to you. As I'm eating or drinking, take your pick. A doctor came in, and wow, that's some big ears, rabbit ears that is wow a freaking bunny girl doctor again. There is something really wrong with this script.

"Hello doctor how was my son's examination?"

"Well, let's start with the good news since humans and elves have similar features both inside and out there is no problems with his organs and his body so far is ok but I belive an exam every month for the next year should help us farther our understanding of his body structure. Now next is his statistics his stats are reminiscent of a human baby's stats it's just that his Mana is many times larger than what humans have, but it is at the bottom rung of were elves start at as infants."

"Well, we did speculate that something like this would be the case, and the starting stats can be trained till his awakening, so that is normal, but tell me, doctor, does he have any traits."

The doctor gives a big smile. "That is another great success in this experiment he has the elven racial trait Mana manipulation and something we are looking into as his Mana manipulation trait is an unprecedented SSS grade we are looking into if it's a product of his mixed blood or just random chance."

With what my mother and the doctor are talking about has her glowing but crap another language I don't know. Come on, people speak English or human. I really hope human language is English or I'm fucked.

"Also, he has other traits it seems his human blood is also coming through loud and clear as he has 2 other traits, which is ok for humans. I should point out. His first trait is a physical trait. Regeneration and it's a C grade, but like all human traits, it can be trained his last one seems to be a metaphysical one that we can't find in the database as such we may have to consult an expert in the field the trait is called Lost Favor and its an E grade so we are looking for said expert."

"Burp." Ok, I'm full, and I need a dipe change. As my mother cleans up and changes my diaper, I'm losing the battle to stay awake, and I still wish I knew what they were saying but as they continue there talk I'm put in my crib an crap it's being rocked alright I lose I'm heading to dream land hope everything works out that man is still looking at me with hate oh come on I don't need that as I'm falling asleep go somewhere and murder someone else with your eyes and let me sleep.

I really didn't know what was going on, and I didn't yet know of the problems and hijinks that would be going on in my new life, but here's hoping it's not boring please save me from dieing of boredom which was my last thought of the day. If only I had known I would have asked for a peaceful life instead.

Hi everyone, ya sorry about the piece meal chapter. I started it in the middle of work and had to let the chapter go up, not even half done, and I've been putting it together and just finished when I got home really sorry and this won't happen again.
