Humanity left Earth, due to their own behaviors, were chased back to their cradle world, a nearly empty matryoshka world created from the planets of their cradle system. 15% of humanity stayed back, yet on return, there wasn't any contact from home. The stations silent, QT Comms completely dead, the Dyson swarm that was in the records now sitting lifelessly half completed on the other side of the sun. Humanity returned to what appeared to be a home, with no records of what happened for them to view, they spent many centuries trying to find the truth, and finally when they were nearing only 300 - 400 years left before they wouldn't have the resources to leave and find another home, they decided to approach their home planet, which was known to have aggressive approach policies closer than the Jovian orbit shell, when nothing happened they started to post up members of the fleet as orbital colonies in the planetary shells.
