One with Thunder

"Stop, please..." Elaine wanted to stop Damian, but he just smiled.

"Live and see the world; I'll take care of that demon." Damian walked away after saying this and didn't look back at Elaine again. If they compared their lives, there was no doubt Elaine had lived more years; she had never strayed from that sacred forest, so by right, she had the duty to see the world.

Damian, on the other hand, believed that having lived two lives was more than enough. Besides, if he died saving a beautiful fairy, it was an achievement worth recounting in his next life.

"What a pity; I really wanted to see the evolution of this world." Damian rose into the sky as the blood from his wounds stopped flowing, the most severe ones healing very slowly. The sharpness in his gaze intensified before he suddenly extended his hand.

"Let's go all out, famous ancient demon..."

Immediately, thunderclouds gathered from all directions and converged in the sky above him. After which, a dull sound was heard before a lightning dragon spanning tens of thousands of meters descended from the clouds, whistling towards Damian. Finally, it condensed directly into Damian's palm, which had a dignified look.

Lightning arcs danced around, slowly shrinking into his hand. A moment later, a huge electric arc appeared in Damian's hand as he used all his mana in the subsequent attacks.

With a cold expression on his face, Damian looked at Calmadios, who stood in the sky. Then, he used one of his hands to slowly raise the lightning bow until it creaked and formed a complete arc. The deep black light quickly accumulated before transforming into a long black arrow.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The black light flowed at the tip of that long arrow of electric rays. In fact, it seemed as if there were small black holes in that place. At that moment, Damian formed a group and used all his power in this attack.

The dark clouds in the sky, combined with thunder, seemed to want to split the world in two. Even now, with Indra's arrow resting on the electric bowstring, the whole world seemed to be reaching its end.

Standing in the sky, Calmadios' pupils were fixed on that electric bow. He wanted to escape and prepare, but the Divine General, who had adapted so much to his aura that now he couldn't harm him at all,.

"Even if you manage to cast that spell, you'll only be delaying your death; you must know now that the wounds have stopped healing. You're going to die in terrible suffering; it's only a matter of time." Calmadios received a dozen painful cuts from the Divine General, who was practically tearing his body apart.

"I told you at the beginning, remember? I don't mind dying if I'm killing a demon." A slight smile appeared on Damian's face when he heard this.

He knew he was in bad shape; his healing arts were not the best, and now he could barely keep up during this fight.

Inhaling a deep breath, a moment later, a chaotic light suddenly shone in the sky when suddenly hundreds of thunders landed on his electric bow.

That destructive mana slowly flowed over the huge arrow worthy of killing a giant demon, concentrating into a terrifying power wave.

The devouring power that emerged from the arrow began to decrease at that moment. After which, the surrounding space, which was pressed almost to being crushed, could feel how Damian controlled all that power in a single attack.

The bow in Damian's hands had increased so much in power that the arrow, which was turning black, contaminated the blue lightning.

A faint pale color sneakily appeared on Damian's face as time passed. Blood was leaking from his mouth, ears, and eyes. That dark mana that had leaked into his body was destroying him from the inside, and his healing factor couldn't rival the damage it caused.

At that moment, Damian couldn't wait for more power to accumulate, so he suddenly released the devastating attack.

Instantaneously, his eyes became extremely sharp.

Boom!

That long black arrow disappeared instantly as it left Damian's power. Meanwhile, standing in the sky, Calmadios' pupils, who were having an intense fight with the Divine General, shrank at that moment.

In the next instant, a monstrous demon aura emerged from his body. At the same time, his armor, which was covered in fractures, shone in a crimson color.

As the demon's aura advanced, it looked like a god trampling the world. It was a terrifying sight to behold.

But in the blink of an eye, the space in front of Calmadios was completely pressed by the electric lightning, and before he could make a move, his body was swept away along with the Divine General, who had immobilized him.

Boom!

Calmadios' body trembled violently at this moment. In turn, he staggered backward before a sharp, miserable cry was promptly emitted from his mouth. Instantly, the monstrous demon aura that pervaded the sky began to stir.

That power that had struck the chest where the opening was a moment ago easily penetrated through his huge body, the attack coming out of his back.

"That was a good hit..." Damian smiled, seeing that Calmadios' half body had been completely destroyed.

The Divine General received no damage because he was completely adapted to Damian's lightning, so after knowing that the fight wasn't over yet, he moved to attack.

In the middle of the demon aura, Calmadios staggered in the air. His gaze couldn't separate from the horrible, bloody hole in his chest. His red blood, which he had never seen in large quantities, was now being released with gravity.

"How is this possible?" Calamdios used his hand to touch the black blood flowing from his wound before murmuring to himself. Suddenly, his eyes became furious before he shouted severely, "How is this possible?"

The monstrous demon aura behind him descended into chaos. In addition, a pale color shone on his face. Clearly, he was gravely wounded by that arrow. Standing emotionless under him, Damian looked at the furious Calmadios. His hand, holding the electric bow, was now completely destroyed.

"This is my last attack; prepare to witness the most powerful spell I have managed to create." Damian, as if he were one with thunder, began to wrap himself in lightning and, holding a sword with his right hand that increased in weight, looked at the demon in front of him.

As the mana gathered around, his body disdained and flew at great speed, enveloped in lightning, towards Calmadios, who was gravely wounded.

Damian had turned into a lightning dragon that pierced through space and collided against Calmadios' last response attack, who had lost several hits because of the Divine General.

"Ahhhhhh!"

Boom!

Both attacks collided, and when those impacts unleashed two different forces, it was as if everything had disappeared hundreds of kilometers away. Nothing could be saved; Damian had destroyed half of Calamdios' body, but he had also been pierced by a long sword.

"Was it worth it, foolish human?" Calamdios muttered these words before death took him.

Damian, who was falling from the sky with a horrible wound on his chest, simply smiled and murmured, "Demons are my enemies."

"I see..."

"But it is a pity that you cannot witness the great world war that is coming to this small continent; everyone is going to get involved in Aze's interests." Calmadios died without being able to complete those words.
