Hinata & Kurtosuchi vs Mu
Kurotsuchi and Hinata stood ready, their eyes shifting between the Edo Tensei resurrected enemies and the injured man on the ground. They could feel the weight of Kai's expectations on them, and it fueled their resolve.
Looking at the two men, Kurotsuchi and Hinata clenched their fists, bracing themselves for the imminent battle. Mū, despite his mummy-like appearance with bandages intricately wrapped around his entire body, emanated an air of deadly calmness. His dark eyes, void of any unnecessary emotions, scanned his opponents with a calculating gaze. His stance, though seemingly relaxed, was that of a seasoned warrior, ready to strike at a moment's notice.
Opposite him stood the third Raikage, A, a giant of a man with a muscular build that spoke volumes of his brute strength. His white hair flowed down his back, and his dark skin was a stark contrast to his unusual green eyes. His face was marked by pronounced cheekbones, and a deep crease across his forehead, adding to his intimidating presence.
Kai effortlessly exerted his will, and the Third Raikage, A, became motionless, as though the sands of time had ceased their flow around him. Having delved deeply into the intricacies of Edo Tensei, Kai had discovered that if an opponent was significantly weaker, he could bend them to his will.
He addressed Kurotsuchi and Hinata, saying, "The adversaries you face now are formidable. Since you recently received the Lotus Seal, I advise you to team up and challenge a single opponent." Kurotsuchi, while not entirely pleased with the idea, recognized the formidable power of the Second Tsuchikage. She exchanged a glance with Hinata and, with a nod of agreement, they both prepared to engage.
The two women stood side by side, their unity evident. Kurotsuchi's earthy skills, combined with Hinata's Byakugan and Gentle Fist technique, created a formidable duo. As A remained immobilized by Kai's power, their focus turned to Mū.
The Second Tsuchikage, Mū, his gaze penetrating, readied himself. His years of experience and warfare gave him an edge, allowing him to quickly assess and adapt to situations. But he was not underestimating the two women before him.
Hinata took a step forward, her Byakugan eyes narrowing, while Kurotsuchi began weaving hand signs, prepping a jutsu. Their synergy was evident, each one complementing the other's moves.
Kai observed from a distance, his eyes sharp and attentive, evaluating every move. His role as a teacher was evident, but he refrained from stepping in, letting his students handle the situation. He knew the importance of real-world experiences in honing one's skills.
Hinata's eyes, now turned to the pure white of the Byakugan, pierced through the air, locking onto Mū with unwavering focus. Kurotsuchi's hands moved fluidly, forming signs with practiced ease as she prepared her jutsu. The air was tense, charged with anticipation as the two women stood their ground, ready to face the Second Tsuchikage.
Mū, undeterred by the pressure, stood tall. His experience in battles was evident in the calmness that surrounded him, a calmness that was his weapon as much as any jutsu. He was a master of the Stealth Rock technique, a jutsu that rendered him invisible, and he was more than ready to use it to his advantage.
As Kurotsuchi's hands came to a stop, a wave of mud surged forward, transforming into sharp spikes aimed directly at Mū. He vanished in an instant, the spikes passing through empty air. Hinata's eyes followed him, tracking his chakra as he reappeared behind them.
"Behind us!" Hinata called out, her voice steady.
The duo tapped into the power of the Lotus Seal, feeling the surge of Nature Chakra flowing through their veins. The lotus tattoo on their backs glowed faintly, a testament to the energy they were now wielding. Kai, observing from a distance, kept his eyes sharp, ready to intervene if necessary.
"Focus, Hinata. We need to coordinate our attacks," Kurotsuchi instructed, her voice steady despite the dire situation.
Hinata nodded, her Byakugan locked onto Mū. "I will aim his chakra network. Let's do this."
As they prepared their assault, Mū, sensing the change in their energy, decided it was time to unveil his own power. His body started to emit a faint glow as he gathered his chakra, preparing to unleash his Dust Release.
The two women charged forward, Hinata leading with her Gentle Fist, aiming to strike at Mū's chakra points and disrupt his jutsu. Kurotsuchi, on the other hand, manipulated the earth beneath them, creating pillars of rock to trap Mū and limit his movement.
Mū, however, was quick to react. He unleashed his Dust Release, creating a destructive cube that disintegrated everything in its path. The rock pillars crumbled to dust, but Hinata and Kurotsuchi were quicker. They dodged, moving with a speed and precision that was enhanced by the Lotus Seal.
"We need to keep the pressure on him," Kurotsuchi shouted, sending a wave of mud towards Mū.
Hinata followed suit, channeling her chakra into her palms and unleashing a barrage of Gentle Fist strikes, aiming to disrupt Mū's chakra flow and prevent him from using his Dust Release again.
Mū, however, was not a Kage for nothing. He evaded their attacks, his body moving with a grace and agility that belied his age. He countered with his own jutsu, creating clones of himself to confuse the duo.
Kurotsuchi gritted her teeth, her eyes darting between the clones. "Hinata, can you tell which one is the real one?"
"Yes, but it's difficult. His chakra is evenly distributed among the clones," Hinata replied, her Byakugan working overtime to discern the real Mū.
Just as they thought they had a moment to breathe, Mū attacked, his Dust Release creating a wave of destructive energy that headed straight for them. Hinata and Kurotsuchi, however, were ready. They unleashed a combined attack, Hinata's Gentle Fist colliding with Kurotsuchi's earth jutsu, creating a barrier that absorbed the impact of Mū's attack.
