Sliding down a wall

Alek looked around trying to find Orchid thinking maybe he would be around the compound of the hospital after making a thorough check inside. He was worried that maybe Jake came back, and with this haunting his thoughts he could do nothing but worry for the white hair.

After searching for some time he went to find Racquel holding on to the little hope that she would know where Orchid was. She always knew everything about him, that's just the type of person she is, she needs to know everything about the both of them and always got it out of them when there was something she knew we were hiding from her.

"Racquel, have you seen Orchid anywhere?" she was confused.

"No why, the last I saw him was with you." she started to get anxious.

"Why what happened?!?!" she got out of her seat getting even more worried

After Alek explained the ordeal they both decided to look for him, she suggested the arena beside their school, she knew that if Jake were to pick another fight with him the perfect place to do it would be there at the rusty old arena they used to love going to after school.

They rushed there, they knew if he was anyhow was in any trouble Orchid would be waiting for them and they needed to get there fast for his sake. They started with rushed paced walking which eventually became a breathless sprint to their school.

"What if some happened Alek?" she blurted

"Don't worry he can handle himself for a while once we get there let's finish what we should have..." he said determined to get back at the blonde for his humiliating defeat.

But as they were nearing the arena they noticed a familiar white-haired man laying with his back against a wall of an old weaponsmith shop. They rushed to his side, Orchid was shocked to see them there, he didn't know what excuse he would give them. He hadn't quite planned things out this far... The whole time it was Jake that had been on his mind, he realised he hadn't told ALek and Racquel anything and the looks on their faces made all the more obvious they were looking for him.

After he was bombarded with questions he didn't know what else to do other than to just tell them the truth, all in all, the truth was better than making up a lame excuse, they would clearly see through it anyways.

When he explained everything and as expected it freaked them out. They pestered him on the reason for looking for the blonde at all.

"Orchid why did you come here? Are you mad? Do you like the beating he gave you? Are you sick in the head?" Racquel asked with her face looking like a prune. She didn't understand but even Orchid didn't, the impulse to meet him to clear things out, he didn't know why was it so important to him.

Orchid started to giggle listening to her, they both stared at him as if worried that maybe something psychological wrong with him. Alek wanted to smack him to his senses, Orchid realised the seriousness of it all and explained that he wanted to know why the blonde came to the hospital, he thought there was something that he wanted to say but couldn't.

"Orchid who gives a shit what that guy has to say?" Alek interrupted,

'Do you know what did that guy do to all of us, why would you willingly...this is so...Are you that self-centred?' Alek puffed out a sigh before storming off in the direction he came in. Racquel looked back and forth between the both of them and followed after the boy who just stormed off.

Orchid felt the blow and he realised that maybe what he did would have been wrong but he didn't want to start anything right now, he decided to talk to the both of them after today, he had other things to worry about, he wanted to clear things up in his mind first before talking to the both of them.

Racquel's brother was looking around trying to find his beloved sister, he got anxious wandering where she would be, he moved outdoors looking for her but then found them walking back through the entrance before he could start his search.

Racquel was trying to appease her friend as she was struggling to catch up to his fast pace. Alek wasn't paying much attention to her, he was mad.

"After all that happened that idiot still went to look for him, Racquel do you know how stupid he is..." Alek's complaining could be heard all the way to where Racquel's brother was standing.

"He must have had his reasons Alek, we don't know the full story." Racquel tried defending her other best friend.

'Are you defending him?' he raised his voice, instant regret seeped in as he saw Racquel brother looking at him as if wanting to make his intestines into soup, he jumped back and hid behind Racquel seeking for shelter from the storm that is about to hit.

Racquel was confused until she met eyes with her brother's, she giggled. She walked away trying to leave Alek to deal with her brother by himself but as she walked Alek followed behind her like a puppy following after his master.
