Learning to cultivate

It was early in the morning and Mr. Meng was opening the store when Fu Feng and his father Jian arrived at the store.

"Ah good morning Fu Feng"

"Mr. Meng this is my father, Jian Chen. I've come to buy the qi refining cultivation manual."

"It's a pleasure Mr. Meng. Thank you for hiring little Feng."

"Pleasure is all mine Mr. Jian. Your son is a hard worker. It's good to have him here.

Let me go get the qi cultivation kit for you.

Come to the counter."

In a few seconds the store owner grabbed the scroll and handed it Fu feng.

Fu feng handed him the 18 silver coins.

They smiled and Jian Chen inspected the manual. Sure enough, it was genuine. It had drawings of positions, breathing instructions, and how to circulate the qi, etc.

Jian Chen was satisfied. Fu feng was very happy with his purchase.

"I'll be going to work now little Feng. You take care. You can have the leftover 2 silver coins for school supplies."

"Thank you Dad. I'm off to school. See you in the afternoon."

Fu feng walked to school feeling elated that he had accomplished his goal. In his pouch, 7 silver coins were burning a hole in his pocket.

"What can I buy with this money? There are so many things I need. For starters I could stop walking everywhere if I buy a horse. I could go to school with it and they have a stable. I could leave it to the caretakers for a small fee. I could buy cultivation items, defensive items or medicine ingredients, talismans or a weapon. It's so exiting! I'm gonna have to find a way to keep making money. If I want to change my future, I'll have to get stronger."

not to long after he arrived at school thinking about what to do with the money made him lose track of time. he was exited to go talk to the principal.

When Fu feng knocked on the door the principal was organizing students files.

"Come in".

when he saw Fu feng he immediatly smiled. Mr Feng I've found someone willing to share a cultivation technique with you and teach you how to feel and gather Qi.

Fu fengs eyes sparkled. Thank you Principal Yen for all your help.

Ms Chengdi will teach you this morning shes waiting for you. Go to the Meditation class Room 027.

Fu Feng Said goodbye to Principal Yen and went straight to room 027. Ms Chengdi was sitting in a pillow crosslegged holding a crystal ball in her hand. Fu feng knocked bringing her out of her state. she opened her eyes and looked at him.

I'm Fu feng the principal sent me to learn cultivation.

Ms Chengdi smiled.

Alright come in. She got up and retrieved a scroll from under her sleeve.

Fu feng was dumbfounded to see such a big scroll come from a tiny sleeve.

She laughed and handed it to him.

Fu feng bowed deeply to Ms Chengdi and thanked her profusely.

OK grab a pillow and sit down infront of me.

Fu feng complied.

They started a guided meditation where she instructed him opening up his awareness and perception. Then she held his Hands and transferred qi into them for a minute and asked him to focus in his hands.

After that Fu feng was able to feel his qi throughout his hands legs, to the bottom of his feet, his head and torso his blood circulation, his breathing his internal mind aswell even deeper than before. it was like a door had open to him into his own body.

Ms Chengdi could feel his qi he was at the beginning stage of qi gathering. There are 9 lvls of Qi gathering stage and then comes Foundation stage with 9 lvls.

After Fu Feng felt his Qi ms Chengdi thought him how to practice breathing and how to do qi circulations and how to gather Qi. She interpreted the cultivation manual it is called the Blood refining technique and when practiced it improves the Blood giving an improvement to cultivation it was a Hong lvl technique worth 2000 copper coins.

She Gave him the Crystal ball. it was made of qi sand and phosphorus ingredients giving it a white and clear glass look.

Ok now I'll teach you how to condense your qi. Hold the ball between your hands infront of you and move Qi into your hands. When you have enough qi in your hands make it flow into the crystal by pushing it outside and towards the center of the crystal ball. Then you have to will the Qi into becoming a sphere in the middle of the Crystal ball, do that until you can create light and light up the crystal ball.

After twenty minutes the ball finally started lighting up.

fu feng thanked Ms Chengdi again and left.

In the hallway he was elated now he had two cultivation techinques and they were very good for him he could teach them to his mother and father and practice them to become stronger.

after a while of walking he arrived at the body cultivation and phisiculture Gym. it was his next class in his schedule after that he had scheduled alchemy class, math class, artifice class, Smithing class, and his last class of the day was a weapons class.

Fu feng entered the weight lifting room in the gym the teacher walked towards him told him what they were doing. Today was bench lifting day and the teacher was measuring everybody's strenght. he assigned a partner to Fu feng and told him to lift his maximum capacity. He went to a bench where his partner was preparing to lift.

He helped his partner by putting weights into the bar.

Hey can you spot for me I'm gonna try.

said his partner.

Sure.

His partner lifted 225. then it was Fu fengs turn.

he took some weight off the bar and tried 200 pounds. with alot of effort he could do two repetitions his whole body hurt.

After that he looked around the room there people doing biceps exercises with dumbbells that weight 100 pounds. they looked very muscular for 15 year olds. in the corner a 15 year old looked incredible he was squatting 600 pounds. Fu feng felt like he was dreaming.

After they wrote their results in a paper they handed the paper to the teacher and he announced they would do push ups and sit ups. everybody was tested again on the amount they did.

The class finished and he headed to alchemy class. He was handed a plant book with many plant names and uses. The teacher talked about plants for the entire class and said they could make money by gathering plants in the forest and the mountains and selling them to the market places or the alchemy association. But they needed to have an alchemy badge to sell and could only be granted by the alchemy association, they had to pass the test. He had to learn everything in the book to pass and become a member

he learned alot that day in the weapons class he learned he could make money by becoming a member of the hunter association and hunting animals they needed to pass a test aswell and obtain a badge, they could sell the meat to the market and materials to the hunter association.

The day was over and Fu feng went home exited to start cultivating.
