A Bounty
After spending 700 credits on the skill book Alan searched further into the market for better equipment he could use. His search came to an end when he spotted a shop dedicated to ability-infused equipment. He was quite shocked to see many people leave and enter the shop simultaneously indicating its popularity. Alan was immediately engaged by a staff member who asked him for his request.
"I would like to have an item that on every hit on my opponent would have a negative effect on him, giving me leverage in the fight.", asked Alan.
"Sure follow me", said the staff member while walking towards the front counter grabbing a box from his storage, and ringing Alan up.
"900 credits please", said the salesman.
"Wait I didn't even look at it", said Alan.
"Sir I'm afraid we don't have time to show and describe stuff around here, this product matches your description, if it doesn't prove up to your expectation you can always return it, now please hurry up, we have more people behind you."
Alan without hesitation swiped his card being overwhelmed by the staff's responsibility and quietly exited the shop in embarrassment. But As soon as he stepped out, he ravaged through the packaging to reveal a Knuckle strip tape.

"The guy wasn't lying when he said to don't worry, now how should I try this?", Thought Alan.
"Yo Alan where have you been, we've been searching all over the place.", said Barry in a distance.
"What did you guys buy?", asked Barry.
"For me, it's the usual I got lots of snacks and another game for my console, Theo didn't buy anything and Shelby bought some skill book I reckon," said Barry.
"Well you bought a lot of snacks right, now give some here," said Alan while closing in on Barry. Barry immediately started to take steps back as one thing he doesn't compromise is his well-earned snacks. Alan seeing his opportunity had the best idea. Wrapping his hand in his newly bought item, he landed a direct gut punch on Barry rendering him frozen for 2 seconds, giving him enough time for Alan to grab the snack bag.
[Rush has been activated]
With no time to spare, Alan ran off with the goods back to their home so that he could consume most of them before the others reached home. But Barry wasn't going to let him win, he activated his ability and dashed in his trail leaving Theo and Shelby to question their maturity. With both of them gone Theo looked at Shelby to guide him about his place to stay.
"Why are you looking at me, follow them you'll be living with those kids from now on," said Shelby in an annoyed tone, while Theo looked at her regretting his decision to come to this residence.
(Back at Rover's residence)
"So you thought you could run away like that huh, not on my watch kid", said Barry as he had pinned down Alan and was counting his snacks but before he could complete a gust of wind came from directly beneath him from Alan's hand as, Barry levitated in the air giving time for Alan to steal another snack of his. Alan had run away to the main hall giving Barry the perfect opportunity to get him.
[Light Type: Light Bolt]
Barry harnessed a bit of his light energy in his hand forming it into a lightning bolt shape and aiming it at Alan who was running away from him. He released the bolt which raced toward the back of Alan but due to Alan's natural perception he was able to detect it and dodge it by jumping before the impact leaving the bolt to go straight towards the main gate.
"You guys are one most immature people I have met... AHHHHHHHH", screamed Theo as he entered the Rovers Residence only to get electrocuted upon entering, making him unconscious and falling to the ground.
"That one is on you", said Alan while successfully running away and locking himself in his room.
(Night time)
Barry had given the guest room to Theo and had now accepted him as his brother, teammate, and a part of his residence, soon after having dinner all three parted ways to their rooms to call it a day.
However, as soon as Alan entered his room, due to the calmness of the night he was able to sense a different energy of his brothers but couldn't pick it up, considering if it was a threat he had to immediately find the source.

Giving himself a boost in perception would have made Alan able to sense the creepy energy but at this point, it had gone away like it was never there to begin with. Alan thought that it was his mind playing tricks on him, probably because he was tired and needed some sleep.

The same energy circulated through Alan's fragile system once more, its presence growing increasingly noticeable, but still not strong enough to fully wake him. Gradually, it drew nearer and nearer until Alan's system began to alert his body, stirring him from his slumber. As Alan struggled to open his eyes in response to the system alarms, he found himself staring at two red eyes glaring down at him from the ceiling above his bed. Before he could react, the entity lunged at his trembling body and phased into him, vanishing from his sight.
Just then, he heard footsteps outside his home. Looking out, he saw the same pair of red eyes, now on a human figure who quickly wove some hand signs before disappearing from Alan's view once more.
"What is happening with me?", questioned Alan in a trembling manner while sweating profusely because he had no idea of who that man or ghost was, and what had they done to Alan during his sleep.
[SYSTEM ALERT]
[SYSTEM HAS BEEN BREACHED]
There was a long pause after the last message from Alan's system making him, even more, worried as someone could've hacked or accessed his system, causing trouble to his powers, but all his doubts were cleared when the next notification popped up leaving Alan shaking in fear.
