"Eh?!"

The man muttered in amazement as he looked warily at them, then began to ask:

But his words were interrupted by a glass of water being held out to him by the young man. The man hesitated and began circling the glass cautiously with his eyes, as if trying to check for any danger.

"Drink! You have been unconscious for a long time."

said Hobart, commandingly,

It is as if he is not concerned with the man's health, but he is forced to take care of him because of his sister wishes.

His sister noticed the tone of her brother's voice and nudged him in the side with her elbow while gazing him a scolding and stern look.

Hobart sighed rolling his eyes in annoyance and remained silent, then Ave said, smiling and reassuring:

"Drink, sir, and I will explain everything."

The man nodded his head, then picked up the glass and began to drink from it slowly, still maintaining his alertness.

"So...how did i get here?"

He repeated his question which had just been interrupted by Hobart earlier.

Ave sat next to him on the edge of the bed and said quietly:

"We found you lying on the ground in a deserted alley. You were so badly injured and soaked, that my brother was about to leave you because he thought you were dead, but we didn't take you to the hospital and I stretched you instead because my brother said you might be a homeless person and we don't We have enough money to pay the hospital bill, but don't worry, I have studied medicine for two years now."

Although she was calm, she repeated her brother's name louder and sharply.

The man blinked and looked at them in surprise. He began to wonder if the girl had saved him from death out of compassion and sympathy, or if he had been her lab rat so she could practice on his wounds for her future job, but he did not complain, because she had saved his life anyway.

The man said in a choked voice, and tears began to form in his eyes, but he held them back despite the extreme distress, but his shoulders were clearly trembling.

Hobart turned his head away for a moment, then looked again at the man, but did not utter a word. Although he felt guilty because of his harshness toward the injured man, his pride was too heavy to admit it.

Ave sighed sadly at the man's worry and sadness before she got up from the bed and walked a little further from him, immersed in deep thought.
