As we walked through the city, everyone turned and looked at us, our fine clothing marking us the upper class. Evos, Ace, and I were wearing suits so sharp that they cut the air around us. While Leana and Cal wore strapless dresses with slits on the sides that flashed their legs each time they moved.
Leana was hanging on my arm, with Evos walking in front of us. We looked like the typical wealthy family with our jewelry, perfume, and the way we carried ourselves. And with Ace and Cal to both sides of us looking all tough and strong, sold the look.
However, we were a dime in a dozen once we reached the casino, as everyone had money to spend and risk for fun and games. On the casino floor, I looked around, "Is everyone clear on the plan."
Everyone nodded, "Okay then, let's do this." At first, moving as a group, we walked over to a blackjack table and started to play. After a couple of rounds, Evos complained about going to the restroom, and Ace went with him.
When they didn't return, Leana asked Cal to find them. That was my queue to start looking for trouble. Scanning the floor, I spotted the prime target, a young man who looked like he was losing and getting frustrated.
Slowly making his way over, I accidentally bumped into him just as he was about roll, sending the dice scattering. Liked, I hoped the guy spun around, "What the hell do you think you're doing! You just made me lose, dumbass."
I saw the punch coming a mile away, and it barely turned my head. But it was the excuse that I needed to knock the living daylights out of him. This started a chain reaction that someone pulled straight out of a cartoon.
The guy I punched fell into the table he was playing at, knocking it over, sending drinks flying, and pushing people into each other. And like a trail of dominos, everyone in the immediate area was knocked over.
Games were ruined, clothes were stained, and everyone blamed everyone else for causing the butterfly effect. Taking my level, I watched from a distance as everything descended into chaos. Security caught word of the fight and ran over to break it up.
"Everything is going as planned." Taking off my tie, I reached into my jacket and pulled out a mask and a round bottle, "It's showtime." Aiming, I threw the bottle into the middle of the room, and when it shattered, the chemical inside flashed, blinding everyone for a brief moment.
Putting on the mask, I smiled as thick white clouds started to fill the casino, confusing everyone. But in a few seconds, people began to drop, and in a minute, everyone was either asleep or knocked out from the previous fight.
The clouds then retreated, and I was able to take off my mask again, 'Evos has come a long way. It won't be long before he becomes a force to be reckoned with.'
Moving over to the casino entrance, I put up a bone wall preventing anyone from getting in or out. We had ten minutes before people would start to wake up, so we had to move fast. "Okay, let's try this."
Closing my eyes, I focused on each cell, bringing it under my control. I then forced each cell to replicate, and in a minute, I had a flesh and blood clone that looked exactly like me without any sex organs.
The clone started to shiver and split, and it made a second clone. Soon I had an army of thirty clones, each awaiting my command. "Okay, I want twenty-seven of you guys to go around and loot the entire place. The three of you stay here and loot these people."
The clones jumped into action, some growing wings, others running at inhuman speeds to carry out my commands. Looking down at my watch, I smiled, "Plenty of time to have some fun. Evos and Ace should be looking for the main safe, while Leana and Cal look for any survivors. That leaves me to deal with the big guy."
[Evos's POV]
I was exhausted after creating so many clouds. Soren had given me a tranquilizer and said I had the most vital role in the heist. "You okay, Evos? You're looking a little pale."
"I'm fine, Ace. I need a minute." True to my word, I popped up color, returning to my cheeks, "Okay, I'm good to go. Let's get started." Running out of the utility closet, Ace and I pulled on the faceless masks Soren had given us.
"Do you have any idea where the safe would be?" I asked Ace as we ran through the golden hallways. Ace shrugged, "Beats me. Let's try to find a room that looks important."
After searching for a while, I stumbled across a pair of thick metal doors, "Is that important enough for you." Ace smirked, and his hands ignited, "This might take a minute. Make sure no one interrupts me."
"Fine, it's not like anyone is coming anyways." I felt a wave of heat wash over my back, and it only took Ace ten seconds. Stepping over the molten slag, I looked at another pair of even thicker doors.
Ace had to do the same thing taking longer to melt the door, but yet again. There was only another pair of doors. "I'm not doing this." Ace cupped his hand together, building up a ball of fire before thrusting out his hand in a pillar of flame.
I winced as the temperature rose sharply, and it was as if I was flying next to the sun. When Ace stopped, the stone around what used to be the door was blacked and misshapen.
Looking down the hallway, I sighed as I looked at the pile of partially melted gold five doorways down. "Do you ever think things through." Ace scratched the back of his head, "If Luffy could see me now."
