An interesting evolution

Max and Tony

To say Max was nervous was an understatement. Why was he nervous you ask? That's easy, he was now responsible for somebody else's life and that thought scared the almost 14-year-old. He wasn't even that great at taking care of himself. He was an excellent fighter. Top of his class as a matter of fact. But that's not what worried him. He was worried about not being able to devote enough time to the boy. He was also worried about not being able to make enough coin after getting out of the Academy. He was also worried about not living up to his dad's expectations. He remembered what the king had had said the day before. You will never be ready to be a father. The best you can do is to take one day at a time.

The boy was unable to sleep with all of these thoughts running through his head. He would try to clear his mind by using a meditation technique taught to him by one of his instructors. When he would stop the meditation to try and sleep, the thoughts would come back. Eventually, exhaustion, took hold and he eventually fell asleep.

At around 9 AM that next morning, Max was awoken by a pressure on his chest. It wasn't a heavy pressure by any means. Just enough to make it uncomfortable to sleep. He opened his eyes to a little boy in nothing but his diaper sitting on his chest staring at him.

"Can I help you?" he asked with a smirk

"wakey wakey, daddy" the boy said as he proceeded to bounce up and down on Max's chest.

"And why should I do that. I think I may just go back to sleep" he said as he closed his eyes and pretended to sleep.

This caused the boy to bounce again while yelling "no more sleepy" over and over again.

"Ok ok I'm awake" he said "is their something you want"

"I hungry papa" he said in a way that told Max he had regressed to a stage were he was still learning to speak properly. This confirmed that his father was indeed gone.

"I know you're hungry, so am I, but this isn't our house so we may have to wait until we get home to eat. You think you can wait a little while longer birthday boy"

"I pose" he said in a dramatic fashion

"You suppose" he repeated trying to translate his kids toddler speak.

"Yeah" he said this, as though it was gonna be the end of the world. "But I gone be ten and bone"

"You're not going to be skin and bone" he laughed

"Yeah huh, I gone die" and then pretended to die dramatically

"Oh, well I guess I'll just have to bury you then" said Max as he threw all the blankets on the boy who giggled "dead people don't giggle" they continued to horse around for a bit but Max felt like he was just delaying the inevitable and decided that it was time to get ready and head back to the academy. The new semester would start day after next and he wanted to be settled in to their new quarters before this time. Plus he needed to get Tony enrolled in daycare. He got out of bed and headed over to the diaper bag and got the supplies he needed and headed back to the bed. "Come on bubba we need to get moving. Lay down here so I can change your butt." He asked as he wrangled the boy and eventually got him into a fresh diaper. Diapering Tony was like trying to diaper a giant worm. Then he dressed the boy in a matching shirt and shorts combo that was light green with white stripes on them.

After getting Tony ready Max went to the bathroom and washed up and of course he couldn't do it alone because Tony had to be their as well watching everything and asking questions. Once they were ready Max put the diaper bag over his shoulder and was about to open the door when their came a knock. He grabbed the boys hand and walked towards the door "Mr. Roy good morning"

"Good morning young man, her majesty has requested that you join the family for breakfast" he said "you weren't planning on leaving were you"

"Ummm..well….I didn't want to bother anyone more then we already have. It's bad enough that the royal family has had to take care of Tony because of me. And purchase clothes and top of the line diapers and lord knows what else. I was kind of hoping we could just slip out without anyone knowing" max said

"She insisted, Mack would have been sad had he not been able to say goodbye" said Roy "if you'll follow me I'll show you to the dinning room"

Not really having a choice the father and son followed the butler.

6am Mack and Vorick

Mack felt something funny. It was kind of ticklish but not. It was kind of soft but kind of moist. He was really concerned so he opened his eyes and looked at his right hand and frowned when he noticed that somehow his thumb had made its way into Voricks mouth and he was sucking on his thumb while fast asleep. He carefully removed his finger from his brothers mouth and scooted closer to him. He tried to go back to sleep but couldn't so he decided to pull up his system interface

"Increase to level ten" he thought to the system

"Evolution will now begin? What does that mean?" But his thoughts were derailed as the worst pain he had ever felt asulted his body. He started to cry because it hurt so bad. The crying woke Vorick who looked over at his brother who was writhing on the bed. He uncovered him and gasped at what he saw. Feathers of a pure white where growing out of his upper back. Where his shoulder blades were, two wings were emerging. They continued to grow until they were as big as he was. Vorick watched as pure white feathers grew from the wings.

"System what's happening to him" he asked

The pain finally subsided and he finally stopped crying.

Mack was breathing heard. "Are you ok" he asked

"I think so but I felt as though my bones in my back were being ripped out" he said. Vorick reached out and began to pet his brothers wings.

"Mackey….you have huge white wings" he said in fascination still touching them.

"Is that what happened" he asked in suprise "that hurt really bad"

"How were you able to evolve" he asked

"Using the Life essence we got from maverick and Jacob yesterday. Go ahead and use yours. And please quit petting them. They're still really tender." He complained

"do you think it'll hurt that bad? Because I really don't feel like crying this early in the morning." Said Vorick

"honestly, it probably won't hurt you as bad as it did me. You are a lot stronger than I was before the evolution. I think you'll be able to handle the pain better than I could. Of course that's just an opinion."

Vorick looked at his screen and noticed 4,000 LE points and due to him being so far ahead of Mack it's not going to cost nearly as much as it did his brother. So he had more than enough to age himself back to his normal age. But he was secretly starting to like being this young. It had its advantages. And he was slowly starting to get used to wearing diapers. His embarrassment was starting to fade. He eventually decided to hold off on aging back for now.

After the system deducted 850LE points all of his stats were now at 20 same as his brothers as well as his cultivation level, He was confused at first at how his brother went from nothing to 20. The system had explained that he used life essence points to increase his stats to 10 then use life essence points to increase his cultivation level to 10 each cultivation level you achieve gives you one additional stat point for each stat so that's how he went from nothing to 20.

Once Vorick leveled up to 10 the evolution process started. Mack was correct, it did hurt really bad and he tried to remain strong but he eventually started crying. Mack scooted closer once he noticed the Evolution was completed and rolled the crying boy onto his back. He then put his own wing under his brothers wing and laid own them. He grabbed his brother and rolled him onto his side onto the wings with him and pulled him close and held him. He grabbed his brothers, left wing and brought it around them covering them like a blanket, and he did the same with his on top of his brothers, creating sort of a winged cocoon with them in the center.

Mack had an idea that might make Vorick feel better. He wrapped his arms around him and started to massage his wings at the point where they met his back. This had the desired affect and soothed the ache he was feeling.

"Your gonna put me to sleep if you keep doing that" he said in a sleepy voice

"It's ok bubby you can go back to sleep it's still really early anyway" he said as he continued to massage his pain away. Vorick put his thumb into his mouth and his eyes slowly closed as he fell asleep. Mack stopped his massage as he too was sleepy and so the twins fell asleep again in each others arms, all warm and comfortable inside their wing cocoon.

A few hours later the door to the room opened and Roy walked in. He walked over to the windows and them. Letting the morning light into the room. The light then reflected off of the pure white fluffy looking thing in the middle of the bed. Roy gasped at the sight and slowly approached. Once he got to the side of the bed Roy noticed that it was wings. He reach over and slowly unfurled the wings and what he saw took his breath away.

In the center of what he discovered was a wing cocoon were two little boys in nothing but diapers asleep in each others arms. It was probably the single most cutest moment he had ever witnessed in his life. They looked so peaceful that he almost felt bad for having to wake them up. "It's time to wake up boys" he said softly as he gently shook them awake. They yawned and stretched.

"Morning Mr. Roy" said Mack as he rubbed his eyes

"Morning angel boy" he said as he walk over to the chest of drawers and brought out two diapers and and the supplies. The boys tucked their wings behind them and laid at the end of the bed ready for a change. "I don't know how it's possible that the two of you are getting more and more cute." Said Roy as he went to work changing their diapers "don't take this the wrong way, but it's almost like you two are cute and innocent little babies, not awakened 10 year old boys"

The system decided it was going to put its Two cents in on the subject as well.

Before your evolution, they would've just seen you as normal five-year-old boys, unless they actually knew you like Roy, but now you're just cute and innocent little baby angelic boys. Even though you still look five years old your angelic side will give the illusion that you're younger. This will change as your level increases.]

"Well, that's not confusing" said Vorick as Roy finished putting him in a fresh diaper.

"What's not confusing" said Roy as he tickled Vorick who giggled

"We are babies technically." Said Mack. He went on to explain what the system told them.

"That is confusing" said Roy scratching his head "do they need to be awakened to see through your babish aura"

"I don't think so" said Vorick "just as long as they new us before we evolved"

"This development is going to make your lives in the academy very difficult" he said out loud "I hope you know that. Nobody is going to take you seriously whatsoever. Nobody is going to want to spare with you. I can almost garentee you'll be bullied. Anyway let's get you dressed"

"You really think they'll bully us after what we did to maverick and Jacob. Plus after the entrance exam I don't think we will have to much of an issue with our class mates. And can we just go like this today. We don't have any shirts that will fit us with our wings anyway" said Mack perfectly content with rocking the diaper as his wardrobe for the day. Vorick on the other hand was a little hesitant with this idea. But would go along with it if his brother did.

"Absolutely not. You may not be able to wear a shirt but you can still wear shorts." Said Roy as he threw a pair at each boy

"It's going to be really hot today…. Please" Mack begged

"Fine but if you get yelled at, don't say I didn't at least try" he said as he put the shorts away to the cheering of Mack. Roy just shook his head at the boys antics. "Wait for your friend, I don't want him to feel like you forgot him."

"We weren't going to forget him" said Vorick as Roy disappeared into the boys room.

Roy walked up to the sleeping boy and shook him gently. "It's time to wake you up young man. Breakfast is waiting" he said. The boy blinked a few times and jumped when he noticed the man staring at him. "My apologies I didn't mean to startle you"

"No you're good" he said as he felt the mattress. Why would Alexander do this? Because he was an extremely heavy sleeper and was prone to night time accidents and because the bandits hurt him so badly his accidents have been every night since. He even has accidents during the day sometimes if he can't get to a bathroom quickly. His eyes widened and he curled into a ball.

"Is everything ok young man" asked Roy. But Alex didn't respond. "Has something happened" he pulled the blanket off and the smell hit him. The poor young man had an accident. "Hey Mack can you get me the wipes please"

"Are you going to hit me for peeing the bed" he asked softly. Still curled up in a ball.

"Who would hit you for something that's out of your control" he said as he picked up the boy who flinched as his hands touched him.

"The people at the brothel and Jacob and the bandits who did this to me" he said as pull the pajamas down to show Roy his scars. his emotions finally got the best of him and tears finally started to flow. "I'm sorry for wetting the bed sir, I..I can't help it anymore. They hurt me real bad"

"You poor kid" he said "your safe here, nobody's going to hurt you." Mack walked into the room and noticed the older boys pants around his ankles and tears in his eyes.

"I have the baby wipes Mr. Roy" he said still staring at Alex "how'd you hurt your thingy and your butt"

"You do have wings" said Alex completely ignoring the fact he was naked from the waist down. "I wet the bed"

"Oh, so these are for you" he asked handing them to Alex "come on Alex hurry up I'm hungry we can walk to breakfast together"

"So you still want to be my friend even though Im so useless I can't even manage to hold me pee correctly" said Alex

"Now you listen to me young man, you are not useless. You didn't do this to yourself." Roy scolded the boy

"But I was a bed wetter before they attacked our village and bit my thingy and butt." He said

"Was it this bad before" asked Roy to which the boy shook his head no "then it's their fault. If they hadn't of hurt you then maybe you'd have grown out of it. Here get yourself cleaned up while I go get you a set of clothes." He grabbed Mack and they headed out of the room. "Give him his privacy"

Eventually Alex was dressed and ready for breakfast. Both Mack and Vorick ran up to Alex and hugged him wrapping him in their wings. "We will make sure those guys pay for their crimes one day very soon. Nobody will ever hurt you again" said Vorick

"Thank you guys so much for making me feel wanted" he said as they broke the hug and proceeded "arnt you guys going to wear anything besides a diaper"

"Nope it's a diaper only kind of day" said Mack as they walk out of the room and headed down to breakfast.
