Chapter 79

Titania had a catching-up moment with her family. Travis also introduced Sofia to her. Sofia was glad to know Titania, the younger sister of Travis. They had similar behaviors, like and dislike. The two ladies were getting along really well.

"What is the feeling of having a mate and seeing him for the first time?" Titania asked Sofia curiously.

"Hmm, The feeling is indescribable. But you will just know your connection with your mate. You will know once you meet yours. This will know for sure." Sofia told her while putting her hand on her chest where her heart was beating.

Titania just smiled at her while nodding her head. She was happy for her brother and Sofia. Now, she was wondering if she also had a mate. Did she saw him already or not yet?

After a while, Travis joined the two girls. "Are the two of you having fun here?" He brought them snacks.

"Yes, Titania is very fun to talk to," Sofia told Travis with a faint smile.

"Hmm, I wonder if my baby sis is talking good things about me," Travis glanced at Titania meaningfully.

Titania giggled and said, "Yeah, I just informed Sofia that she must watch out because you are a playboy."

"Hey, you are ruining your brother's name in front of your future sister-in-law. Titania, do you really love me? Do you want me to stay single forever?" Travis complained to her exasperatedly.

"It's not my fault that I was born handsome and gorgeous. Women are the ones chasing after me, not me," Travis added.

"See, he is shameless," Titania said to Sofia, teasing Travis.

Sofia just giggled while watching the brother and sister, teasing each other. It's nice to have a sibling. She didn't experience it before since she was an only child. Sofia loved the bond between Titania and Travis.

"By the way, brother, is Dylan also here?" Titania finally asked Travis about Dylan. Travis had been waiting for Titania to do that.

Travis gave Titania a teasing smile before answering her question. "Yes, he's here. Probably taking a nap in his place. Are you going to meet him now? Congratulations on successfully convincing Dylan to come back. I knew it. You are the only one who can do it."

"I didn't expect that he would listen to me as well. But I'm happy that he did." Titania told her brother truthfully.

"Brother, can I ask you a favor?" Titania added.

"Sure, anything for my baby sis," Travis promptly responded.

"I'm going to our favorite place. Can you tell Dylan to meet me there?" She requested her brother.

"Alright. I can do that for you. Are you giving him a surprise?" Travis asked her expectantly.

Titania bobbed her head with a smile.

 "Hmm, I think my sister-in-law doesn't need a mate. She already has one." Sofia commented.

Titania blushed after hearing that. "No, you're wrong, sis. Dylan and I were just good friends."

"Hmm, good friends huh?" Sofia mumbled, raising her eyebrow. She's thinking a different thing. "Not more than good friends?"

Travis chuckled after seeing how embarrassed Titania was when Sofia started shipping her with Dylan.

"I'm going out now. Brother, please inform Dylan. I'll be waiting." Titania immediately escaped from Travis and Sofia.

It did not take long when Titania reached the forest where she would be waiting for Dylan. While walking in the forest, Titania reminisced about her moments together with Travis and Dylan. They often hang-out in this forest when they were still young.

Travis and Dylan would spend their time training in the forest while Titania was watching them on the sideline. After that, the three of them would play. Dylan and Travis would transform into their werewolves form, running around the forests while Titania was riding at the back of Dylan.

Titania couldn't help but smile whenever she would remember those moments. Travis and Dylan were both protective of her. Sometimes, if Travis would tease her and make her cry, it was Dylan who would comfort her. Dylan would also scold Travis for making Titania cry.

Dylan would always give Travis a lesson every time Titania got sad and upset because of her brother. Travis could only sigh in defeat whenever Titania and Dylan would work together against him. Two versus one. He could never win against the two.

Titania was still in the middle of reminiscing her childhood memories together with Travis and Dylan when she heard footsteps coming in. When she turned around, she saw Dylan walking in her direction.

He was wearing his signature smile, the smile that was only reserved for Titania. She ran towards Dylan. She missed him. She threw herself to him and hug him tightly. Of course, Dylan caught her in his arms, returning her embrace.

"I'm glad you are back. I'm really glad. Thank you, Dylan. Thank you for coming back to us." Titania's eyes became teary once again. She just felt emotional right now.

Dylan had complicated feelings when he heard Titania. His heart clenched knowing that he was just deceiving them. He was back not because he wanted to return, but because he had a mission to accomplish. And he was just using the White Claw Pack in order to fulfill his mission.

Dylan couldn't help but squeeze Titania in his arms. He was afraid that she would hate him once she learned the truth. 'Forgive me, Titania. I have no choice. I have to do this.'

They remained still, just hugging each other for only God knew how long. Amidst the silence of their surroundings, Dylan suddenly heard a voice in his subconscious.

'Dylan… Dylan… Can you hear me?'

Dylan frowned, trying to figure out who was talking to him. He looked down on Titania. She was just resting her head on his chest, she's not talking.

'Wait did I hear it wrong. I thought it was Titania's voice,' Dylan pondered to himself.

It did not take long when he heard Titania's voice again in his subconscious.

'Hey, Dylan, can't you hear me? I'm talking to you. Why are you not speaking nor responding?'

The frown on his face deepened. 'Who are you?' Dylan finally responded to her.

Dylan heard her giggle.It was a soft giggle. 'Can't you recognize my voice?'

This time Dylan's eyes widened. He was certain, it was Titania's voice he was hearing in his subconscious. After a few seconds, Dylan realized something.

'Titania? Did you awaken your werewolf's ability? You can talk to me now using the mind link?'

'Yes, Dylan. This is me, Titania. I want you to be the first person to know that I already awakened my werewolf's ability,' Titania softly mumbled to him.

This was the surprise she was talking about. She didn't inform her family first. SHe decided to let Dylan know about her ability.

Dylan, who was still hugging Titania in his arms, suddenly lifted her as he moved around in a circle. "Titania, I'm so happy for you!"

Titania giggled as she held onto him tightly. "Stop it, Dylan. You are making me dizzy."

Dylan immediately stopped when he heard that. He broke the hug but his arms remained holding her waist. "When did this happen?" Dylan's eyes sparkled with joy.

"5 days ago. My wolf appeared in my subconscious. I saw my wolf, Dylan. She's beautiful. Her fur is pure white. Sad to say, I still couldn't shift. But she said I will be able to do it soon," Titania said to Dylan excitedly.

Dylan cupped her face and said, "Oh, Titania, you are always beautiful and so your wolf. I want to see you in your wolf form. I will be waiting for that day to come."

Titania bobbed her head frantically, "Yes, I will show it to you."

"I'm so happy that you told me about this first." Dylan started caressing her face. His eyes were fixed on Titania's lovely face.

"I promised to you that night that I would be stronger. Dylan… I will do everything to protect the people close to my heart."

Dylan rested his forehead on hers. "No, Titania. I should be the one protecting you."

"But- uhm"

Before Titania could finish her words, Dylan's lips already stopped her from talking further. Dylan kissed her. It happened so fast that Titania didn't see it coming. She was shocked for several seconds.

Her heart raced rapidly inside her chest. She could feel Dylan's lips moving gently on hers, tasting her lips. Titania didn't know what to do. She just closed her eyes, letting Dylan's lips explore her mouth. It did not take long when she began responding to his kiss.
