Elliott's POV ***

While moving towards the main chamber with Kale, I checked my status of the quest which was blinking from the moment I arrived on the hidden floor. But the following events kept me distracted, So I wasn't able to check it until now.

1. Enter the dungeon Stone Age and clear the second round without any injuries to your party.

2. Enter the hidden third level and survive against Belphegor.

3. Exit the dungeon without any casualties within 48 hours.

"YES!" I shouted in excitement for the skill draw.

"What??" Kale stopped and looked at me with a puzzled face.

"No-Nothing! Let's move quickly."

After saying that I started marching forward with an increased speed and left the confused Kale behind.

'Not much time is left, I have to hurry!'

In another place, two people were fighting against a plant type monster.

The monster was a humanoid monster with a lush green leafy colored scales all over his body. He had a single big eye on his head and his limbs were entirely made up of vines.

Rey and Amisha were cutting the endless vines coming at them. Both of their stamina was going down with every second they fought.

"Hey!! Do you have any fire type skills??" Rey asked as he just dodged a powerful 'Vine Whip' attack.

"If I had it, I would have burned this fu*ker already!!" Amisha answered and then suddenly clicked her tongue.

More than ten vines attacked Amisha and she used her footwork technique to kite all the attacks except for one which hit her in the abdomen region.

"Aakhh. . .You Bi*ch!!"

She was loosing quite an amount of blood as the cut was deep. She then looked at Rey and both of them nodded at each other.

{ Metal Spike }

Rey used his skill and penetrated two of the four major vines of the monster and then used his skill Metal Bullet and fired number of bullets all over his body.

The monster used his other two vines and formed a shield of vines around it and blocked all the bullets.

"I knew that won't be enough, take this you trash of a plant....."

{ Meteor Shower Essence Sword Art : Meteor Blast } + { Body Strengthening : Arms and legs }

Rey used up all the remaining Essence in this attack and his arms and legs were feeling like they are made up of metal itself.

He unleashed his attack with an extremely fast speed, just when his sword was about to pierce the head of the monster, His two vine shield stopped the attack at the expense of both of his vines.

The monster had regeneration abilities, but since his main vines were severed and the other two were badly injured, his regeneration was too slow.

The monster then used his skill to throw the thorns which were poisonous in nature.

Rey had no other choice but to jump all the way back to dodge the thorns.

In that moment, Amisha appeared behind the now powerless monster and used her ultimate spell.

Her Twin swords slashed endlessly and kept cutting the monster part by part and the poison mist kept the body rotting everytime it was cut, hence the regeneration was stopped.

After a total of hundred slashes, a violet colored seed was discovered.

Both Rey and Amisha thrusted their swords together in the seed.

"Finally!! ha. . .haf. . . haf. See it wasn't difficult after working with me was it....." Rey had a mischievous expression on his face as he teased Amisha's earlier attitude.

"....."

Amisha just looked at Rey with mixed emotions and didn't said anything. She took out two high grade Health Potions, one Stamina Potion and one Essence Potion and chugged it down.

Rey looked at her for a response for some time and then gave up and started drinking his own potions.

After that he looked at the small silver statue with an angelic face and her four wings that were not present.

After ten minutes, Amisha's injury was healed completely. She looked at Rey who was circulating his essence with complicated emotions.

Amisha's POV***

As I was watching Rey practicing his essence circulation technique, I felt that this technique is much more superior to what's mine.

'But my technique is an A grade, so does he have an S grade??'

When I first got paired with Rey, I was very skeptical about both his abilities as well as the fact that he is an illegitimate child.

The modern nobility has much more different opinions than the nobility of the past, one of them was the importance of the pure blood. In olden times, the true blood of nobility was always given the major priority but the modern nobility always prioritize skills over everything.

That's why right now, almost 70% families head are not from the main family.

But that is only for the lower and middle class nobles. The higher class nobles still maintain the dignity of the main family and they are always in the front seat of everything.

Although the Denise family was an exception among the higher class nobles. They only select the heir with upmost skills.

From my childhood days till yesterday, I also believed in my family's teaching. I never criticized against the half blood nobles, but I never cared for them either. I only looked down commoners as that is the first thing any noble is taught. I was no different.

I wasn't an extreme case like Garrett though.

The only commoner I talked with was Elliott. And it was due to the fact that it was my family's order.

But Elliott showed me many things different from what I learned and I genuinely became his friend. That was also the case for Somia.

I can feel that Elliott will do great things when he will grow up.

'But he is different... I get a feeling that Rey is as strong as us five or maybe even stronger than all of us. So why is he hiding??'

As I was looking at him, he opened his eyes suddenly and our eyes met each other. I quickly turned around.

'He saw that didn't he.....'

"Let's go." He said with a loud voice and started walking towards the exit.

"Huh! . . .Hey! Wait for me...."

In another place within the castle around the staircase area, Two old friends were chatting with each other beside a monster's dead body.

"You have improved so much, Natalie!!" Somia said with a complete surprise on her face.

"Right! Right!" Natalie was boasting about her skills and the training she did.

Natalie and Somia had a very similar family background. Both of their families owned a Diamond Grade Guild and even both the guild-masters were sworn brothers. To the point that Somia's father is Natalie's godfather and vice-versa.

They both were childhood friends and shared everything with each other until Natalie started dating Kale and the distance between them began to grow.

According to Somia, Natalie always skipped her training and spent time with Kale. On other hand Somia trained hard and studied all there is to study. She made a name for herself and became friends with likes of Amisha, Juhie and Elliott.

The same happened with Natalie, as she spent time with Kale and then became friends with Rey and Jim.

But it was still an undeniable fact that they were still friends. When they were paired together and sent to the staircase area, they were very happy. They both never said anything about their friendship to anyone else beside their family. Also, another reason was that both families kept it a secret from the world that they were allies of each other.

"Oh, by the way, how's it going with Kale? He is not bullying you or anything right? And how are your new friends?"

"He is the besttt! And also Rey and Jim is also so cool. Specially Rey! He was the one who trained us through day and night without any breaks. It was thanks to him that all of our skills were improved drastically. And also this . . . . . . . . . ." Natalie kept on saying about her day to day activities and all the recent incidents happened during the academy time.

Then she suddenly looked at Somia with a wide grin on her face and asked-

"Hey! what's with you and the top student? Are you going out or something, huh?" She dropped the bomb on Somia.

There were many rumors floating around in the academy about how Elliott has a harem of top three beauties of the class. Both of them knew about the rumors but only Somia knew the truth, Both for her and Amisha, it was an order given by their families to get close to him at first. But eventually they accepted him as their true friend. As for Juhie, she was already acquainted with Elliott before the start of the academy. It was said that they both gave their entrance test on the same time and were acquainted there.

Somia immediately blushed at the question and blurted,

"W-We are just friends. It's nothing like you are thinking" She said with an absolute denial.

'At least not yet.' Somia thought.

"Really~....Well, If you need any assistance, do come to an expert like me. I will make you set!!" Natalie said teasingly.

"We are going to be late, let's go." Somia tried to change the topic and was successful as Natalie also agreed with her.

They lost too much time chatting.

And they finally started moving upstairs where the main chamber was located. There was also a silver wing in the hands of Somia, which they got after killing the Gargoyle.
