Journey About To Begin

The next morning Aasit had to leave for his school, so he woke quite early and went to freshen up. His train was scheduled at 10:30 am, and the station was about one and a half-hour away from their house. By 8 o'clock, the family was in front of the front door of the house, and Daksh was putting Aasit's luggage inside the car.

"Aasit you should be careful while you stay in your dorm," Alka continued, "You should try to keep your distance from the bad people there, try to sleep early, as from now on I am not going to be there by your side to wake you up for your classes and never skip your food as you can get sick and if there is any problem, call us any time because remember, we are always there for you." By this time, there were tears in her eyes.

"Mom, you are worrying too much. I am going to be fine there as I am an adult now, you should trust me, and I promise that I will never skip my food or classes and I will even take care of my health," Aasit said while comforting his mother, "And Suhana, you should be a good girl while I am away."

"Brother, I am not going to make mom angry, but you have to promise that you will come back soon," she replied in her cute voice.

"I promise I will," he replied with a big smile on his face.

"Aasit, I think now we should leave, or else, you are going to miss your train," Daksh stated.

"Yes dad, let us go."

Both of them sat in the car. Aasit turned back and waved back to his mother and sister, who were waving at him until they disappeared from his view. After traveling for one and a half hours, they finally reached the station. Some time was still left for the train to arrive at the station, so Daksh decided to sit inside a restaurant nearby and have something. They found a place and went there. After finding a place to sit, they ordered their food. In the meantime, they had some conversation.

"Son, I hope that you can enjoy your senior high school life to the fullest," Daksh continued with a serious face, "You can do everything, but you should remember to be in a limit. And whenever you feel pressure or something troubles you, share it with us so that we can find the solution together. If your decision is right, then both of us are going to support you and will always be by your side," he completed.

"Yes dad, I know that. Please don't worry, since your son has grown up, and he can take care of himself. And I know that I can tell you everything as I have got the coolest parents," he replied in a funny tone.

After paying their bill, they went back to the station, and by then time Aasit's train was also announced. Soon, he got on the train and waved his father goodbye. The journey by train was quite long. While traveling, many thoughts came to his mind. He kept thinking about the types of students he was going to see there, how big the campus is going to be, what kind of roommate he is going to get and many other questions kept roaming inside his mind because of which he was even unable to see much of the views outside the train.
