On planet fargon...

Kira and the demonic woman from the dark realm locked eye contact. They'd remained in the position they were, the moment Zack and Freya left. None saying a word to another, as they remained in silence.

It was a weird sight seeing a god and a creature from the dark realm, literally enemies, standing still not doing or saying anything. As one would've expected them to tear each other apart, the moment they laid eyes on one another.

But they just simply stood there without uttering a word. their eyes staring intently at each other, which could make one question if they were transversing with the eyes.

"You shouldn't have come here." Kira finally said breaking the ice. He'd retracted back his elemental weapon, as it took a lot of cultivation energy to stay active. He was a god so he had a vast supply of energy, but still he preserved his trumps card for a reason.

"Really? And why is that?" The woman chuckled softly, making kira frown more.

"Because now am meant to kill you." He slowly said with an indifferent expression. Though he had a poker face on looking closer, the tone he spoke in was weird like a more lenient tone than that of rage.

"And what makes you think you can kill me all by yourself? I literally killed one of you! Do you think am bluffing, or should I just make an example out of you." She threatned in a cold voice, her aura exploded from her body making the air more denser. Sighing kira was unfazed by her power display, as he was a high level god and couldn't be affected by merely an aura outburst.

"Divine sword technique, unlimited flame slashes." Kira muttered under his breath, as his elemental fire sword appeared once again in his hand. Swinging it, he released a barrage of lines of flames slashes to the woman. As his hands moved nonstop like a blur, rapidly slashing his sword with precision and grace.

"Fancy technique you have there." The woman smiled leaping from her spot, as the flame slashes crashed to the ground. Multiple big size explosions occured, as the ground couldn't keep up with the onslought caving in.

Kira didn't mind though, continuing to slash his sword releasing the lines of flames to the woman. The latter was effortlessly moving around, blinking away from her spot every time one of kira's flame slashes were close to her.

"Let me also show you a few of my tricks." She smiled stretching out her hand, a small dark spherical ball could be seen in her palm. It pulsed with power and an ethereal dark force, as it began to grow in size tripling to what it once was.

"Void eater!" She shouted firing the huge dark spherical ball. It shot fast considering it's size, destroying kira's flame slashes heading forward. Seeing this, the latter was a bit surprised seeing his attack destroyed with this attack.

"Burning sun." He muttered as flames began spiralling round his body, creating a huge ball of fire. The ground beneath his feet were scorched black from the terrifying heat, as visible spider like crack marks ran along the floor, which threatened to cave in any second now.

'Bam!' The huge ball of flames shot forward like a cannon, picking up speed. It didn't take long as the two attacks collided in the middle, creating a much larger explosion.

'Boom!!!'

The ground beneath their feet's were blasted away, huge clouds of dark smoke in the air as these two attacks clashed for dominance, but the winner was already clear. Kira in the ball of flames destroyed the woman's attack, shooting straight at her causing her to disappear once again from her spot, as kira crashed into a volcano.

"I thought you were all powerful, why did you run?" Kira teased, scoffing at this joke who claimed to have killed one of them.

"Of course am all powerful, but that doesn't mean I should be stupid now does it." She smirked biting her fingers seductively.

'Crack!! Rumbleee!!!' The ground couldn't keep up anymore, as the entire planet began to cave in. Seeing this kira had a frown, as he still wanted to ask this creature somethings before he proceeded with the plan.

"I guess we'll have to make this quick now." He said to which the woman nodded in agreement. They then clashed in the center, floating in the air as the ground was no longer reliable.

They both dealt strikes of their own, each sending out attacks conjured from skills of their affinity, or simply attack containing the affinity itself.

"Beast horde!" Valine shouted, alerting the villagers as their faces went pale the moment the saw the towering clouds of dust, approaching in the horizon. The people were sent into a state of panic, as they scrambled about for their dare lives.

"What's happening?" Babayaga asked, appearing besides valine with the others.

'I-it's a beast horde.. but why now? we've never had a beast horde for years.' Darling wondered, stunned to see the menacing beasts rampaging towards them. They didn't know what caused beasts hordes, but usually when it happened it might be due to a higher level beast, commanding the horde.

"I can sense they're all at the epic rank, so it shouldn't be much of a problem to deal with." Elder Chang said stroking his white beard.

"True.. but their number far surpass us, and we can't contain all of them without having to worry about the village." Master gore frowned shaking his head.

"Don't worry, you guys go hold the forte in front I'll protect the villagers." Leona softly said appearing besides them, with little baby ash strapped to her back.

"L-leona are you out of your mind? you should be in bed right now!" Valine exclaimed, shocked to see her here with the newborn.

"Am sorry high elder, but the village needs us now and I can't afford to let them down. otherwise my son would grow up to know his mother was a coward." Leona said with determination in her eyes. Hesitating, valine was about refusing Leona's advances but in the end she gave up, seeing there was nothing she could do to stop her.

"Ha.. you're as stubborn as your husband." She sighed a sigh of defeat. Going to her back her fingers softly traced baby ash skin, while he slept comfortablly on his mother's back.

"This wasn't how I wanted to meet you little one." She let out a weak bitter smile.

"Alright then we'll hold the forte at the front line, while Leona and other high level cultivators will hold the forte her." Valine commanded, to which the villagers nodded. With that valine and the others flew from the village, landing a bit away from the settlement. The beast horde were surprisingly fast, as they were reaching the village within minutes.

"All of you get ready, I have a feeling this is going to be a tough battle." Valine said to which they all nodded, as they charged forward not waiting for the horde to come to them.

Flashes of light of different colors shone in front, as valine and the others activated lethal skills. Immediately killing some beasts, the moment they arrived.

"Shit." Master gore cursed as a black kangaroo like beast leaped over him, hopping to the village.

Seeing this Leona had a calm face, seeing the approaching beast. Others were afraid, but still had the courage to face these terrifying creatures. I mean, if a newly mother could do it then why couldn't they?

"You bastards are the cause of all this. First, you don't allow my husband to spend time with me and my child. Then you want to destroy our home? No bloody way!" She shouted, stomping the ground in anger.

The kangaroo beast simply smirked evily at Leona's anger, it was unaware of the earth spike protruding from the ground impaling it.

Everyone's eyes were filled with a mixture of different emotions, staring at Leona like a god. These were epic rank beasts which didn't lack power in the slightest, as they could easily kill cultivators lower than their rank, and the one's on same par with them if not careful.

But not only had Leona managed to kill one, but she also did so effortlessly while backing a child, making it look damn easy!

"So this is the power of a high ranking cultivators."

"She must be so lucky to be Kodak's wife."

"Damn! What a hard woman." Whispers were slowly being made from the crowd, in admiration of Leona's charm resilience and power.

"You see everyone, their not as tough as we think." Leona smiled, glancing back at them with glistening eyes.

"Conserve your cultivation energy deal, attack when you see an opening for a clean kill. Let's defend the village, our home!" She shouted, rallying up the villagers hope and will. To which they responded by giving a yes shout, as they activated their abilities determined looks plastered across their faces.
