a mistake

'Bam bam bam!'

Several attacks of different elements wind, water, air, fire an many more fired across the once green fields that had now turned into a battlefield. Valine and the elders did well in defending the village in the front rear, unleasing a barrage of deadly skills.

"Water wheel!" Babayaga shouted as a wheel made of water formed, spinning fiercely it shot towards some beasts in front. The beasts fired their attack in hope to block, but their attack was no match for babayaga's.

Like razor sharp teeths the water wheel spinned fiercely, letting out a static humming sound as it cut through the skins of the epic tier beasts. Slaughtering them, and moving forward.

'Swoosh! swoosh.'

A couple of white wolves with blue glowing eyes, launched a sneak attack at babayaga from behind. But before it could reach five air spears pierced their body, lifting them in the air their body was spun. Just like how wood was being chopped in the wood cutter, so did these unlucky wolves suffered the same fate.

"Hey watch it!" Babayaga yelled annoyed, as the beast blood and some guts splattered on her clothes.

"You're welcome!" Darling shouted, darting a wicked glare at babayaga who simply scoffed, going ahead and slaughtering the unlucky beasts cut in her water wheel.

On another side of the battle field, lighting zapped a group of beast in a straight line instantly killing them. Enraged, a group of towering apes of seven feet's charged forward at the attacker. Seeing them elder Chang had a calm expression, as he raised his hands.

The cloud above him changed turning darker a bit, as cracks of lightning flashed followed by low thunder rumblings.

"Electric storm." Elder Chang muttered as the sky heeded his command, and released multiple lighting bolts down to the apes. They didn't die from the one or two's that struck them but it didn't matter, as more blasted down bombarding them. Static humming sound simmered in the air, as the apes fell to the floor dead unable to take the lightning strikes.

'These beasts are more resilient than I thought. I can't sense their commander nearby, could it be far away watching and observing us?' Elder Chang coating his body with lightning, as he zapped towards som long green snakes like a blur. Huge amounts of lightning shocking their hard scales, causing their scales to shed with their bodies fried alive.

Looking round, he was still searching for the commander of this beast horde. as usually if a beast horde was to happen, was mainly because of a higher level beast with more intelligence commanding these group of low levels.

'Maybe it wants us to exhaust our cultivation energy then it'll strike.' There were many plausible ideas, about where the leader of this horde could be and planning. but elder Chang had a gut feeling, something was different about this horde.

'The look in their eyes.. It's not like any I've ever seen.' Shaking his head elder Chang dismissed the thought for now, focusing on the beasts in front.

'Roar!'

A roar pulled Chang from his trance, as a brown tiger with gold stripes emerged from the side leaping up a bit. The beasts was fast, catching Chang off guard as it appeoached him.

But just before it pounced on him, a shadow appeared besides Chang. A slash mark was made as the creature's body was split in two, crashing to the ground in front.

"Master gore, where you watching out for me?" Elder chang asked, a bit surprised seeing master gore bedsides him.

"Don't be stupid Chang. even though I don't like people, am not stupid enough to watch one of my kind die." Master gore calmly said with a frown, a strange black sword clutched in his hand. Hearing that elder chang's eyes widened a bit with excitement, as he chuckled a bit lightly tapping gore's shoulder.

"Very well then old man, let's defend our home with every thing we got." Nodding, master gore gripped his black sword with both hands taking a fighting stance. The next second, several beasts charged straight at them with murderous intent.

"Die!" They both shouted, chang's body coated with lightning as he moved with insane speed, firing off lightning bolts and sending out attacks coated with lightning. Master gore on the other hand didn't also lack in speed, moving swiftly like a shadow slashing his sword. With every slash he made, a part of a beast body would fall to the ground.

A cheetah like hybrid beast sprung out of nowhere, bluring forward. Sighting it master gore was a bit surprised, as he could clearly tell that was a legendary tier blazing cheetah.

'What's a legendary tier doing appearing now? Could it perhaps be this hordes commander?' It was plausible this was this beast horde commander, as it had chose to silently wait attacking at the least when nobody expected.

'No~ even though it's at the legendary tier it isn't the commander.' Master gore shook his head.

"Still, it doesn't mean I won't kill you!" As master gore was about facing the cheetah, a massive eagle attacked him causing him to block. Attempting to slash the eagle it blocked by flapping it's wing vibrantly, sending out huge gusts of wind.

"A-another legendary tier beast." Master gore frowned gritting his teeth. Just one legendary beast was enough trouble, but now there were two and who knew how many more lurked around.

'If these legendary rank beasts are not commanding this horde, then I fear it may be a king rank beasts or higher.' Master gore thought, his face a bit pale as the cheetah was on in it's way to the village.

...

"W-we can do this!" A male villager with black and red hair excitedly said. His hands firing off football sized balls of flames, dealing some damage to the few creatures that had managed to infiltrate the village.

An albino goat with black horns charged forward to the man, it's sharp pointing horns directed to his guts. Stretching his hand, the man fired off three balls of flames to the goat instantly killing it.

"And to think we were scared for a bunch of epic rank beasts." He scoffed with a smug grin, leaping back and sending out a barrage of fire shards to to a green monkey. The shards were fast bombarding the creature, but it didn't die instantly.

"Acting tough huh?" He smirked conjuring a flaming short sword, striking it to the creature's heart killing it. Sighing, he puffed his chest a bit with prideful eyes.

"Come on you savages who's next?" He shouted, searching round for his next prey. Sighting a cheetah running at him, he had a smug grin as a fireball formed in his hand.

He had his eyes on the beast but it disappeared the next moment, leaving him stunned.

"Phough! W-what just happened-" He coughed up fresh blood, confused to see the beast besides him. Having a more clearer look, that's when he noticed which rank this beast was.

"L-egendary rank~" He muttered with disbelief, as his vision went dark with his body splitting in two. Continuing it's onslought, the beast rampaged through the village shooting balls of fire from it's mouth, setting the houses ablaze.

Splats of blood followed by the screams filled with terror and fear of the villagers, echoed wherever the cheetah went.

"Hmm?" looking, Leona could clearly see the predator lurking in the shadows, it's blood red eyes staring at her. The cheetah then emerged with blood stained body of others, it's eyes still fixated on her.

"A legendary rank beast." Leona muttered, identifying the beast rank through it's dominating aura.

"Quick head to the temple! We need all the help we can get." Leona said to a young short brown haired woman, shaking besides here.

'Roar!'

"Earth wall!"

A wall made of earth rose up in their front, blocking the cheetahs charge.

"Go!" Leona shouted, jolting the woman from her trance. Stomping her feet a podium of earth potruded upwards, shooting the woman high in the sky away from the village.

'That should give her a head on before help arrives.' Leona thought, seeing the beast had now come around more enraged. She could see a trail of blood behind the beast as she clenched her fist tightly, clearing knowing where it came from.

"I promise I'll avenge you all. You didn't die in vein." Leona bitterly uttered her face contorting into that of anger, as a vein was bulging on her forehead.

Meanwhile on planet Valdosta....

Kodak was currently on the move dealing with Cynthia, the younger and one half of the twin snake sisters. While nexus was going toe to toe with Silvia, the older and other half.

'Boom boom boom!!'

Multiple explosions occured, as Kodak sent out a barrage of huge lines of flames to Cynthia. Utilizing her snake features she swiftly slithered across the field, firing off shards of her silver long fingernails.

Using his fire wings, he blocked the attacks as he was sent back a bit in the air.

"You know you're really strong feeling for a messanger. Why don't you just surrender now and be my pet." She offered, but Kodak immediately declined her offer.

"No."

"That's a mistake.. it doesn't matter, you're going to be my pet." Cynthia said a bit annoyed. Kodak was about heading out, when he heard a voice.

"Please God kira we need help. Our village is being rampaged by a beast horde. And many lives are being lost to the legendary rank beasts." Clutching his heart, he could feel a sharp pain strike him.
