Hero and demon king are two scarce entities, the hero represents the will of the Goddess of light and the Demon King represents the will of the Demon God because of which they can't die in hands of normal humans, demons, and other beasts excluding dragons.

The only other way they can die is from nature or old age. In hands of time, no one is safe nor one can escape.

It seems the time indie the barrier is accelerating, if this happens before the demon army arrives both hero and demon king will be dead.

Having no other left he finally used the " Eyes of absolute destruction " which is the signature eye of the demon king.

He didn't care if he lose his sight as long as he lives, if he died his sight gonna be useless anyway.

Having no other way left to win, Hero and demon king combined their power to open a dimension gate to summon a monster from another dimension.

During the period millions of powerful monsters came to the world of flower blooms but they were easily subdued by the maidens.

Knowing the hero and Demon King might destroy the whole world killing every single life, the sage for the first time went on a killing spree.
