So it's you? Portia whispered in disbelief

Yeah it's me, the creature replied nonchalantly, picking it's claws, now I'm sure you didn't just torture and summon me here just to stare at me, it growled angrily, but it was weak, tho it did a Good job hiding it, but Desmond could Sense it.

What are you called demon! Desmond demanded.

Demon? Portia gasped, the creature that nearly killed her and tried to kill her daughter was demon, but she couldn't understand how it got here and it's purpose.

Turning to Desmond, what brought it here?

It was sealed in her since she was born I guess, he paused, but the reason I don't know, it was meant to take her soul, but at that time she was stronger than him, as years passed, the seal got stronger stopping the complete flow of her power, and what had been protecting her.

Yes that's exactly what I'm saying, your majesty, Flo isn't human, or at least not a complete one

' what is she then, she asked in a small voice

"I'm not sure, but I suspect her to be a child of nature"

The words kept reapeating itself in her head she couldn't believe it, her daughter wasn't human, and someone had tried killing her since birth, all of a sudden she couldn't stand straight anymore.

Charles ran to her side helping her balance, then got a a sit to seat.

What do we do now, Charles asked Desmond clearly confused, he loved his daughter and she not being human doesn't change that fact, and he was willing to do what he could to save her, he then took his wife to the other part of the room so she could breath, not waiting for Desmond's reply,

We have to find a way to break the seal, Desmond whispered to himself not taking his eyes off the demon

Scoff! You think you can break this seal you could try the creature mocked, " your to weak to even try"

What is your name, I ask again demon! Desmond demanded, but the demon wasn't ready to give an answer.

Desmond immediately started casting another spell, the creature crouched to the ground groaning in pain, but still didn't give up it's name

Stoop! The demon growled weakly after a while of being toutured, and Desmond did

Are you ready to speak now, he asked

Loscus, is my name Master, it responded weakly, demons name are known only to their masters, because it's the only way to control them, not like Desmond was interested in owning one, he only wanted to save his princess.

Loscus, now, tell me what do you want with Flo and who sealed you in her

Loscus cowered down in fear, I'm sorry master, but I don't know her name, she traded my master something for me, and she asked me to kill the baby, but her glow was too pure, she sealed me in her as punishment, and said the day I got her soul, was the day I got my reward.

What is the reward, Desmond asked

I'm afraid master it's her soul, it's hard to consume pure magic, a pure soul is nearly impossible, and the most rewarding, he answered sincerely.

Then how, do I break the seal Loscus, he demanded.

Loscus at this point was trembling, you can't master, only she who sealed it can break it or she who is sealed, but there's something, you can weaken the seal.

Desmond paused for a while, then went over to the King and Queen.

Tell me you've found a solution, Portia asked eagerly as she saw Desmond walking towards them.

Yes I have your majesty, but I'm afraid there's both good and bad news.

What is it? This time Charles questioned

We can't break the seal, but we can weaken it, which will allow the flow of her energy, but at the same time! It will be in chaos! which will make it unsafe for people to be around her unguarded, Desmond told them.

" which is why I have to tell you, do you want me to push through? If so? Her chamber has to be secluded from the rest of the castle..."

My daughter will not live like a prisoner, I refuse to accept that , Charles cut him off angrily, Portia was in tears but she was calmer than her husband right now, she touched his hands, which calmed Him a bit.

I'm not happy with this too Charles, but there's a chance to save our baby girl, and if we don't take it now we would regret it for the rest of our lives, please think about it, Portia cajoled him with a shaky voice.

He saw how sad his wife was and it hurt him even more, and it made him mad at the same time, he was mad that his daughter was dying and there was no way to save her except to quarantine her,

he was angry and hurt and he didn't know how to express it, he crouched down to where his wife was seated and pulled into a hug, the hug was all she needed to breakdown, she cried heavily into his shoulder, he could only turn his head so she wouldn't feel his tears, then gave Desmond a go-ahead nod.

Charles and his wife let Desmond perform the ritual on his own while they remained where they were, after three hours they spotted Desmond approaching them, they stood up immediately I anticipation

How was it? Portia questioned as soon as he got close

She is stable now, but her energy is in choas, she need to learn how to control it, Desmond told them.

How long do we have to quarantine her for, Charles asked

Till she can control the chaos, he answered immediately, as though he was waiting the question.

Can we go see her, Portia asked in a small voice

"Yes your majesty but we need to move her to her chamber so she could get proper rest"

Portia immediately went to her daughter, not wanting for her husband, she was still lying in the magic circle, color had returned to her cheeks, and some of her divine features where now obvious, like her nose it looked more pointed than it had been

My beautiful daughter, Portia whispered pating her hair, Charles came over to where they where, he had been talking with Desmond when she left, he gave his wife a small kiss on her forehead and did the same to his daughter before lifting her up and taking her to her chamber.

Portia went to her son while they got Flo settled in her chamber.

Mother! A little blond boy exclaimed running to Portia's arms as Soon as she entered his chamber.

My beautiful Sam! She replied lifting him up, she let out and exaggerated groan making the boy giggle

"Ugh!!! What have the maids been feeding you, you're soo big!!"

I had bread and milk, so I can grow big and strong like father! He exclaimed excitedly

Oh is that so hugh? Lemme see how strong you've gotten she said tickling him making the boy giggle

Mother! Mother! Stopp! I can't breath! He screamed giggling trying to escape his mother's grasp, seeing his mother wasn't letting go of him, he started tickling her too

Ok! Ok! I give up you win! She said raising her hands up in surrender.

Portia was actually upset but she didn't want her son to see that, so she had to be happy for his sake

Where is father? He asked out of the blue

Working? Why are you asking, she asked skeptically

I heard on of the maid talking, they said Flo was unwell and was in a very crti-- criti.... He paused, " bad State"

Portia Instinctively pulled her son to her chest, it's true Flo is unwell and she was in a very Bad state, and that is why I and your father didn't get the chance to play with you earlier, I'm sorry, she told him

The little boy however returned mother's embrace, it's fine mother, how is she now? He questioned innocently

"She is better I guess?"

Just then Charles bursted into the room, breaking up mother And son's embrace.
