Seemingly gone crazy as he "kissed" the labyrinth walls, Shye felt fortunate that no one was around to watch him.

Not that he still needed to do this stupid pose if there was someone to place his/her hands in the major rune anyway.

After a few minutes, Shye had no choice but to stop paying attention to his stupid pose as the mental pain he had to endure gradually grew more painful with each passing second.

There were even a few times when he almost gave up but his desire to escape the dastardly place empowered his determination to pull through.

Shye didn't even bother checking the progress of the rune even though it was right in front of him.

He simply closed his eyes and used every last bit of his mental strength to complete the runic procedure using what remained of his little mana pool.
