Chloe held her breath standing between Nicole and Adam. The two ex lovers were in some sort of a staring contest.

Just as she had recognized Nicole, the girl also recognized her name. She hoped with all her heart that it was a different Chloe from the one that Adam was in love with. The Chloe that she had gotten out of the way to have him back then.

She had returned to the city to get Adam back. To win him over once again and get back together with him. Hopefully settle down and start a family with him.

'Why are you still here,' Chloe asked herself.

She moved passed Nicole the tears in her eyes flowing much more than before. Adam saw her leaving and took steps to follow her, as he passed by Nicole. Nicole reached out her right hand and grabbed hold of his hand to stop him in his tracks.
