Spark I

I opened my eyes to a dilapidated house, with broken windows, furniture, and anything made of organic materials rotten.

This is not what I expected.

I was laying down on the cold ground so I stood up and looked at my surroundings more closely, there doesn't seem to be anything strange here, the house is old, very old, but nothing more.

There is one thing that is out of place though, a completely new piece of paper close to me, it looked like it just appeared there.

The paper contained a short message from 'God' telling me everything I got from him.

I got some amazing things If I say so myself, first let's start with those 'trinkets', a thin rapier looking long sword made of a black metal filled with gold-red runes, and a red crystal the size of my fist partly covered with the same metal as the sword, the metal etched with the same gold-red runes.

Those two 'trinkets' are 'soul bound' whatever that means, the paper only explains that they can not be broken permanently as far as I am alive.

The next thing I got is the 'inheritance' of some fallen enemy of 'God'.

This 'inheritance' is actually insane now that I look at it more closely, the purest bloodline of a 'Solar Dragon' whatever that is, a manual for 'cultivation' called 'Solar Furnace Divine Cultivation', a manual filled with 'techniques' for the two 'trinkets' called 'Solar Saint Battle Techniques', and finally a manual for 'movement' limited to the users of the 'cultivation' of the first manual called 'Solar Transfer Art'

These manuals were also 'soul bound' like the sword and the crystal.

There is a problem though, where are these things?

+++

It didn't take long for me to realize I just had to will them into existence, right now I am sitting on the floor reading the first pages of the 'Solar Furnace Divine Cultivation'.

This manual has explained many of my questions, 'cultivation' is the art of achieving immortality and power through the understanding of the laws of the universe.

This form of cultivation, in particular, can only be achieved by a Solar Dragon, or someone with the bloodline of one, it is useless for anyone else.

Right now I don't have the bloodline of a Solar Dragon, what I have is a vial filled with gold-red blood that I have to take to acquire the bloodline.

The manual explained that the acquisition of a bloodline is painful, the more powerful the blood the more painful it is.

"Fuck you God" Is the only thing I said as I drank the whole vial at once, a nonsensical amount of pain following after.

This wasn't worth it dammit!

I could feel my blood burning, my muscles rupturing and my bones breaking, my eyes and brain were burning too, blood pouring out of all my orifices.

I didn't scream though, the manual explained that opening my mouth to scream would weaken the transformation, and I can't have that happen, I will kick God in the nuts and then piss on his grave after I gain enough power so I can't be wasting my foundation for a little temporary pain.

+++

It's finally over, I now have the bloodline of a Solar Dragon, this is the worst pain I have ever felt, I will kick God in the nuts many times for this, Jesus will not have any more brothers after I'm done with him.

But that is for later, now I must acquire the first level of cultivation for me to not die instantly.

Let's start with the 'Solar Furnace Divine Cultivation', first an explanation, this cultivation focuses on the concept of the Sun, it is made up of the Laws of Fire, Light, Creation, Life, and Consumption, as well as the Higher Laws of Space and Time on the higher levels.

It is a cultivation manual of the Divine rank, the highest rank, if someone manages to finish the cultivation of this manual he will become a god.

But that is not important, as I am right now I am only slightly stronger than a normal human thanks to my new Solar Dragon bloodline.

The levels of the 'Solar Furnace Divine Cultivation' are separated between Large Realms and Small Realms, with each Large Realm being made up of 9 Small Realms.

Right now I am in the Mortal realm, the first realm, to advance toward the Body Refining realm I have to accumulate Mana into a Sea of Mana inside my body, following the cultivation method I have been given I have to focus the Mana in the atmosphere and store it within my heart.

This is only possible thanks to the Solar Dragon bloodline, a normal human can't do this without an above-average spiritual network or help from an experienced cultivator.

The manual said that this cultivation method is best done in sunlight or near a fire, but I don't have access to one of those and my instincts are telling me that going out right now is a suicidal idea, the only other method is more complicated and I don't have access to it right now.

I began cultivating as the manual said, I imagined a bright golden sun, Its heat, its radiance, the fusion of lesser atoms to greater atoms in its core, its all-consuming power that shines in the void of space, and finally its life-giving ability that lets life thrive in the worlds that orbit it.

I focused on this sun, this nonexistent sun, and began imagining a pull coming from it, as I did I could feel the energy entering my body and being stored in my heart, more and more energy entering me as my focus deepened and I lost all my worries, only focusing on cultivation and nothing else.

A scene right out of fantasy was occurring to his body, soft blue light, called Mana by cultivators, was coalescing into motes of light that entered his body, being stored in his heart as time passed.

A long time later, hours, maybe days, he opened his eyes, a golden glow shined from them that only lasted an instant as they returned to their normal red color.

Of course, red eyes are not normal, but why would the bloodline of a Solar Dragon care about such a thing as 'normal eye colors'.
